Unfortunately, the filter they put in slipped and fell onto the oil pan, causing our transmission to completely fail. We were left with a $7,000 repair bill to replace the transmission. When we brought this to their attention--referencing the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act they even advertise on their website--they took zero responsibility. Instead of standing behind their service, they left us with the damage and the cost. We always try to support local shops, but when a business does you dirty like this, it's just wrong. We stood behind them as a customer, but in the end, we got the short end of the stick. If you value your vehicle and your money, think twice before trusting this shop.

My nerves were already shot after a scary, worrisome week (that thankfully ended well!) and I just wanted some safety reassurance, so I stopped by Firestone to ask if they'd take a look at the pressure in my tires before I made the drive back home; I had super precious doggie cargo in the car after all! The Firestone staff told me to pull right up to the garage, came out and checked my tires, added some air, and that was that. They didn't charge me a cent.
