Before traveling, I had to get a car deodorizer first and clean the most important parts of the car that we needed to use, which was both inconvenient and disappointing. Example: one time I watched 2 employees posing out on the lawn, taking 'glamour pics' for a couple minutes, while another customer and I were waiting at the front desk for service... Then my unit was broken into - the perpetrators were able to push the roll-up door off its' track and force it up a couple feet, then grab everything within reach. So this business can talk all they want about security and on-site cameras, but MANY parts of the facility do not have camera coverage, and if something does happen they will be very uncooperative when it comes to allowing police to access footage when you file a police report. I had to plead with them for multiple days before they would finally allow police to view the tape before it 'timed out.' Beware these guys... Been with the Extra Space Storage on Carson Blvd in Hawaiian Gardens, about 2 miles away, for 3 years now, and they are flawless...

I advised the manager that I vacated. She was very upset with me and said I left the place dirty, which is an inaccurate description of what help was left. She advised me there would be $100 fee if someone had to clean it being a little bit away from that unit, I told her go ahead have it cleaned and I will pay the $100 there was no differentiation between the little table and the unit and the items I left outside of the unit so of course I thought 100 for everything. I was then told later on that she needed it out because they kept charging me. I was told to go to the storage before 2 o'clock on a Sunday. I went there 1:55. I took a picture of the clock and the woman who worked the front desk was gone. I went to the storage unit that was supposedly mine since I had a little table in there and it was locked. Therefore, I could not remove anything. I called them up that evening and advised I went there his promised to clean up the items and it was closed. There was no one there who could work with me. The manager started screaming at me yelling at me I am 72 years old. I do not need that. I asked her to calm down and I advised her it was not her personal money, but she kept screaming telling me as long as I had things in there they were going to charge me I let her know. I went there to remove the things as promised it is not my fault their employee leave leaves early. She let me know that that was still my unit and they were still gonna bill me monthly. she was so hysterical. I was in shock what a bad portrayal of an employee end of the company. I had to contact my bank, which gave me my money back after I explained it in the scenario and my age I do not need this. I look at this as a form of harassment on a senior citizen and it is not a very good portrayal of this business. Stay away they do not care about anything but money they're charging me 15 a month for protection when I provided them my homeowners insurance and declined the insurance. This is a bad organization. I'm also gonna file a complaint with that regulatory agency that deals with storage units look elsewhere. Extra storage is very good not too far from the storage stay away save your money. You will regret if you rent from here and I promise you that now they're probably gonna put a little response after I post this do not buy it. Do not believe it. It's probably automated and it's probably what they say just a safe face when I rented that at the other US storage years ago in Long Beach they almost beg me to post a positive review so they're very needy for reviews. When I arrived at enterprise they didn't have the car I had requested. To be fair the staff at the counter mentioned that they weren't expecting me that day which I can understand since the insurance company does not know when I'll drop my car at the body shop. The staff at the counter did their best to find an suv at a neighboring enterprise location and had it delivered in a timely manner. Additionally, they upgraded my car type due to the inconvenience. Both the staff and the desk and the staff in the parking lot releasing the vehicles were friendly and helpful. Although it took extra time to get my vehicle I appreciated their effort to make things right.

If you flirt with the female receptionist at the first desk (male or female), she'll do 25cents a mile. 5. Make sure she takes pictures of the back of the van with seats up and down. She'll charge additional charges on your card on file. I will definitely stay away. I don't need to hear about the receptionist complaining about the lady that sits behind her, I don't care who didn't show up to work. It's definitely not my problem if you're short staffed. The service is good but with limited staff and the services needed can be time consuming - sometimes it takes a few minutes to get served. I usually go about two pm on Tuesday or Wednesday and it's pretty quick... I have found that buying the propane is cheaper than changing the tank out at Home Depot. I also like to have nice looking tanks on my Grill as they are exposed. The prices are reasonable. The people are friendly. The propane is good. I am content.
