The first time I came to your business I mentioned I found you on Yelp & was super excited to have found a nail salon where I could have a one on one service. Willing to pay what I had to pay just to get some privacy. I'm not a fan of my feet & I get embarrassed at public nail salons... it is an insecurity I deal with.. I expressed this to you, Jenna on my first visit. I noticed on my first visit you did have a bit of an attitude but again I brushed it off because I needed your personal services. It wasn't until the second visit (that's all it took) for you to show me your true colors.. my assumptions of you from the first visit were correct! You were so unfriendly, combative, & plain mean. Rolling your eyes and hesitating to even paint my pinky toe nail on my feet stating it was because that nail was too small.. no one in all my years of getting a pedicure made an excuse to paint that toenail.. including you on my first visit. So disappointing I said to myself ... she's having a bad day & she's taking it out on me.. I felt it.. still I bit my tongue.. I wanted badly for this to work.. but we move forward to my hands & you begin to get hostile in your explanation about the dip & colors once again.. that's when I found myself just agreeing with you just to get the appointment over with... afraid I would get mad & show you I too can become irate.. I bit my tongue.. it wasn't until you started to paint my nails wrong and I asked what you were doing that you really became combative and mean.. that's when I realized I AM THE PAYING CST! Why am I bowing down to you... I expressed that you made me so uncomfortable & asked if I should leave because you were having a bad day. It wasn't until then that you began to actually be nice to me... I went from so angry to just so sad & disappointed by your behavior.. a day where some of my personal issues going on in my life felt so heavy that I was looking for some relief & an outlet from what I was feeling... & there I was a paying customer being treated so horribly... by the time you apologized & I calm down I realized the damage had been done. I will not be returning. I spent a total of $120 you didn't even trim my real nails or attempt to glue my broken nails... both nails cracking down the middle (so painful) within the first week.. such a waste of my money. So many options to choose from! Very clean inside and I loved the modern designing. I loved that there is an actual nail bar inside where you can sit at the counter and get your nails done. This is also the first time I've ever been to a Gel-only nail salon. Best part is the complimentary glass of wine! They also offer water or tea. Waxing services are also available! I visited Mary's nail bar today and I am so happy I did. I'm always nervous to try a new nail salon, especially because I bring my toddler with me. Unfortunately I had high hopes for this place because it had 5 stars. I'm sitting in the chair as I'm writing this because I'm disappointed with my experience. I initially called because other reviews mentioned that scheduling an appointment was better. All she said was "come now!" which caught me off guard of course and I didn't know what to say other than "ok"? Had I not been available then what? So I showed up thirty minutes later and there was only the owner and another woman. I did give two stars because the woman who worked on my nails (not the owner Jenna) was extremely thorough, but I've been here for almost an hour and a half and the paint hasn't even been applied. There was only one other time I've experienced that was this long and it was because there was a long wait time ahead of me with more than just two employees. I came right before another woman showed up, to which Jenna told her to come back later because she didn't have time right now between me and another customer. It made a bad impression on me when she turned the other woman away so easily, but maybe that's the customer-service industry I've been conditioned to work in for so long. Probably the first and *worst* thing I noticed was the god awful music playing in the background. It's a combination of karaoke synthesizers and soap opera intro music or (about halfway through when she changed it up) Asian pop remixes of American songs. I'm pretty sure this is what criminals or investigators do to get their suspects to talk... I don't mind the lounge chairs and being clean by not using the spa foot tubs for sanitary reasons, but the straddle chairs that they use for pedicures kept giving way with me just having my foot rest on it. This made me constantly have to adjust while my feet were being cleaned, creating an overall uncomfortable experience. I'm not one to write Yelp reviews very much but it was that much of a false expectation I figured I'd say something. If you choose to come here just make sure you have something else to listen to unless you feel like having catchy yet horribly mixed audio in your head for a week. Also call ahead and come in during off hours if at all possible. Otherwise you might be waiting for 2, maybe even 3 hours. read more

The owner, Jenna, has been doing my nails for 9 months and she's by far the best manicurist I've ever had!!! Every time I visit she goes above and beyond for me and I feel so lucky to have met her and built such a great relationship. I even brought my 88 year old grandfather in to see her and she was so accommodating and great with him. The salon is so clean and comfortable too!! My nails turned out amazing! My friend recommended this place to me that just opened because I loved her nails and she was getting so many compliments. The first thing I love about this nail bar is that there are so many glitters, colors, and decals to add to your nails. She seems to have all the supplies to do whatever you ask her. Second thing is she didn't burn my nails once and was very careful. I can't stand when someone is doing my nails rushing through it burning my fingers with the file when they could just slow down and be more careful. The owner Jenna is soooo good with designs and created the best almond shape I have ever had done at the nail salon (you can see from the photos). She also is truly a nail artist and has a lot of ideas to make any photo design you bring to her even better. She is really nice to talk to as well and doesn't make you feel awkward in conversation like some other places lol. She's been doing nails for over 10 years, and she took so much time on my nails and made sure they were absolutely perfect. Also the price is sooooo good especially for the designs and shape she did on my nails. Nails are nice and thin so they don't look all thick and chunky but she made sure that they are still strong. She cares a lot about the health of your nails. My nails in this photo are the 100% natural, no tips or acrylic. She used dip powder so my natural nails is still long and healthy underneath. Newly opened, 20% off Grand Opening deal. First thing I noticed was they don't have spa chairs but lounge chairs instead. Spacious, great lighting and very clean. Jenna, brought out a soaking thing out for my pedicure. I do normally use the massage chairs but I didn't mind too much that they didn't have it. Jenna did address this and explained that their goal is hygiene and cleanliness. Therefore, they don't use spa chairs. They also discard the nail file and scrub after each manicure/pedicure. I'm in absolute agreement. Few months back, I had a terrible infection on my feet and ankles after getting a pedicure at another nail spot that I use to frequent to. I'm certain that I contracted some kind of bacteria soaking my feet in the same tub as many, many, MANY others do. It's like a feet hot tub bacteria party. Regardless of the plastic lining, I doubt it's full-proof. Jenna was very helpful and did a great job. Even offered Perrier as a complementary refreshment. Nice touch! Final thought... If hygiene and cleanliness is your priority, this spot is for you. Prices are about the same as surrounding nail shops. Clean, great service and nails look great. read more

Such great service and such a great experience! I was looking for a good nail place and saw this one had such great reviews, so I called and made an appointment to come by after work. It was clean and cute, competitive pricing, great color choices, and the nail technician was so nice and funny! She also stayed open about 10-15 minutes after close to finish my nails, but didn't rush me which is so incredibly above and beyond. Charged me $60 for this and not even 2 hours later the butterfly's started coming off. I went back to get them fixed after being there already for 2 hours and she was late. Today was the final straw. After setting my appointment with Jenna , I messaged her and asked if she was going to NOT be able to take me at 1:45 then to please let me know and I could reschedule.
