Sending me idiots who I couldn't trust to watch my cats, let alone my kids. The last nanny I had from an agency crashed my brand new volvo into the side of my garage. I have been using NJBS for almost a year now and I could not be more pleased with Zee's help. Not sure why the other reviewer said she only does Malibu and Pacific Palisades because I live in WEHO. She placed a permamnent nanny for me and I also use her on call sitters when Sue (my nanny) gets worn out and does not want the extra hours. Sue is the best nanny I have ever had for my kids, in all respects. I went through a couple different nannies with NJBS before Zee found me Sue. I think Zee must be the most patient woman alive, after dealing with me because I am very hard to satisfy. But she never complained once, always kept a smile on her face and after 2 weeks of interviewing/trying out a few nannies from Zee, I chose Sue. Soooo glad I did. She is a gem! Zee's on-call sitters have all been wonderful too, every one. I will never use a nanny agency again. In fact, even if I had no need for a full time nanny, I'd still pay the membership fee just to have access to her on-call sitters. I have a life again, after 3 years of not being able to find a decent sitter. My husband and I actually go out with friends now on weekends and on Thursdays too! That's our date night now ;) I highly, highly, highly recommend Not Just Baby Sitters. Zee is a very competent and warm and sincere individual.

We did the actual filming at the sound stages, which were spacious and professionally equipped. As a woman working long hours in the DTLA area, I especially appreciated the onsite security services -- they were attentive, well-informed, and knew exactly who was scheduled to be where and when. The parking facility felt secure, and lobby security's control over the main elevators added an extra layer of safety and organization. The vibe of the entire site felt professional and well-run, with a clear focus on keeping things efficient and safe. Would definitely work here again.

The security guards an amazing, professional and very nice. Walking towards the doors to the lobby you can see police signs from certain tv shows and films that are produced there. Inside the lobby there's comfortable seating, a television and then it's the concierge desk. If you need the elevator the concierge will help you get to your destination. After talking to the concierge I didn't need the elevators. I just had to walk through the lobby and when you exit you are ground level where there's signs for what production is filming in a specific stage. The stages are huge and it's amazing the creativity some of these tv/film/commercial companies can construct: a mini mansion, basketball court with bleachers and event the inside of a courthouse to name a few. When evening falls you get a beautiful view of downtown Los Angeles with all of the sky scrapers nicely lit up. The inside of main building is very fun with healthy motivation statements in the stairwell, the hallways have fun 1980s style carpeting and the walls/doors are bright and colorful. There's a fun buzz of hard working production staff getting ready for filming and the cool chill ease from the students that are taking classes here. Los Angeles Center Studios has filming opportunities, meetings, fittings and also host social events like Black On The Block. Which is like an independent flea market and networking. I came upon the Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society in 2013 during my first volunteer year of the Eagle Rock Music Festival which was run by Eagle Rock's Center of the Arts. Then, I received only a glimpse of what this society did which whet my appetite. But this year, I took more of an interest and searched to find out even more what they were all about: As with all historical societies, they were run by a handful of volunteers who had a deep connection with a given community (Eagle Rock in this case) and the love and passion to preserve anything deemed of worthy historical significance. Here was their mission statement found at their website: "The objective of the Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society: * To preserve, clarify through research and to perpetuate the history of Eagle Rock Valley * To make this history available to students, researchers, libraries and all interested persons * To preserve and protect our local landmarks, especially the Eagle Rock" Service - The President of the society, Eric Warren, was an older gentleman who greeted me on each of my visits, along with a good friend of his and fellow contributor, Frank Parrello. Eric was very passionate and talkative and was ready to offer any assistance or drop knowledge onto you. He was more than happy to answer any questions you had. Atmosphere, décor, ambience - A cluttered and ramshackled basement that primarily doubled as a recreational art room and storage area for the aforementioned Center for the Arts, old filing cabinets and pulled-out drawers housed an assortment of vital archives that helped to tell the story of Eagle Rock. Only bright flourescent lighting available as there were no windows. A couple chairs were present; otherwise, stand or you took your chance as you placed your derriere on a box or table. There were no TVs or any background music. Attire - Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, as a native Angeleno now in my adult years who actual spent quite a bit of time in the city of Eagle Rock, I've grown to truly appreciate and be proud of the rich and fascinating history of Los Angeles, its surrounding communities, and in this particular case, the Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society was now another outlet for me to learn even more. I stumbled upon the Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society while doing research on an historic home…read morelocated in Eagle Rock. Luckily I happened to be in the neighborhood during their open hours (limited to 10-12 every Saturday). Eric Warren is the volunteer President; he was extremely resourceful and provided everything that I asked for. He allowed me to make copies of archived material (across the street there are two copy services). Eric is the author of the quintessential book on Eagle Rock's history, published by Arcadia Publishing in their "Images of America" series entitled simply "Eagle Rock". I was able to purchase the book a few minutes later, down the street at "Red Books", also recommended by Eric. The Historical Society office is located in the basement of the Old Eagle Rock Branch Library (Eagle Rock Center for the Arts) 2225 Colorado Blvd.
