The place is cute clean and has nice outside sitting and friendly staff. Food is extremely bland (I think worse than hospital) . I had breakfast bowl for 20 dollars ( it was 17 plus tip) , it was crazy overpriced for tiny amount of food. There was zero flavor , not even salt . Even hot sauce couldn't save this dish . It had about one table spoon of black beans from can no flavor, table spoon of pico de gallo no flavor, and a 1/5 of avocado. Eggs were cold no salt no flavor , rice was cold about 1/4 cup of it . It was my first time at Peoples Organic and I really liked it! There were plenty of spaces to park, which was an added bonus. I also really liked the variety of food options that they had! They were all unique compared to others around the Twin Cities area. Another cool factor was that they had still and sparkling water dispensers that were self serve. There are not a lot of places that have that option! The ambiance was very calming and relaxing, I would definitely go back for my lunch break or even check out the night scene for the wine bar. Waiting for a connecting flight at MSP and found this place in the F terminal Looked clean , inviting, healthy so we took a chance. As we were sitting , I decided to look at Yelp for pics of the food. I then realized , this place didn't get great reviews. I was concerned.... But by the time we left I was so glad we tried it. Our lunch was very good. I had two street tacos. I was worried it wouldn't be enough to eat but these tacos were bigger than typical street tacos and they were packed not skimpy. These are corn tortillas which I like but that was prob the one area for improvement. The tortilla's were somewhat falling apart which can happen with Corn tortillas. Prob need to heat them in some way to firm them up. Nevertheless, it tasted great for healthy option. It also came with a decent salad ( just mixed greens but fresh and good). We also had a bowl of chicken / rice soup that was very tasty. This is an underrated restaurant if you ask me! I have been here numerous times to be greeted with helpful smiling employees, great food, and very attentive service. They are swift at cleaning my plates, have even refilled my water, been super helpful with any questions or special dietary accommodations. Bought a gift card for here for my son and daughter-in-law's anniversary, since they are vegan and they had options here. We came into town to help them celebrate so went to People's Organic for coffee one morning. We did not order food, just got coffee drinks, which took forever! The kicker was since there were six of us, even though we ordered at the counter and had to wait for our beverages to take them to our table ourselves, we were charged a mandatory 20% tip for a "large" party. Sometimes you want food that tastes good but doesn't make you feel bad. That's why I like to go to Peoples. There are other healthy restaurant options to choose from, but I choose Peoples Organic because of the variety of menu items and because they make healthy taste really, really good. I will say, the Minnetonka location is smaller and can feel claustrophobic, especially in the Winter when the outdoor patio is closed. So, keep that in mind and know that you might have to wait for a table to open up and not get seated right away. My favorite location to go to is the Eden Prairie location, because it is huge and I've never had a problem getting seated there. They also have outdoor patio seating and a large wine bar. I usually get the Bison Burger which is sooo juicy and filling and comes with a nice side salad. At my most recent visit, I got the Sweet Potato Huevos Rancheros. My dish was massive and consisted of two scoops of sweet potato over fried tortillas and topped with cabbage, jalapenos and feta cheese. I wasn't able to finish it because it was a loooottt of sweet potato, but my friend helped me out. He decided on the build your own egg white omelet with spinach, red pepper and cheddar cheese. I also helped him with his and became addicted to the breakfast potatoes that came with it! All in all, Peoples Organic is delicious, fresh, and well what it says in the name, all organic. They have seven locations across the Twin Cities and also do catering for meetings and events. I would recommend trying their coffee and/or espresso drinks as well! Love the Minnetonka location for breakfast, rarely by this one, but both times in EP were for dinner. We had to check online to make sure it was open because it is so dark inside it looks closed. There were a lot of people, but still plenty if seating. The EP is a more modern and generaly nice location. You do order at the front and they deliver the food to you, which came quickly. I got the Buddha salad with salmon, large portion for $13 plus whatever the salmon was. Outstanding. Warm hummus and brown rice, sundried tomatoes, the dressing in a cup ... just great. I really want to like this place. The idea of eating tasty organic food is important to me. Unfortunately, I've found the place in Eden Prairie (across from Home Depot) very inconsistent - especially takeout orders. On one occasion they forgot to pack part of the order, another time the Tofu scramble was just dry and tasteless. I've also found the restrooms to be dirty - usually a sign that other parts of the restaurant that you don't see (like the kitchen) are not as clean as they should be. I've had lunch and breakfast here ( two separate occasions) and the food is delicious. You walk in and order at the counter and the service is impeccable. Sure it is a lot of self service but it's done with a smile and our plates were cleared promptly. Casual atmosphere with a full bar of that's your jam. The food is healthy, flavorful and plentiful. The French toast is good and too make it great I suggest thinner slices of cibatta and longer on the grill. The homemade cremé fresh, maple syrup, blueberries and pecans make it delightful. The quiche Lorraine came with a mound of tasty, well spiced potatoes and salad greens. And the oatmeal was delicious ( hey I'm kinda healthy and made a great choice). It was served with two toppings and I choose banana and granola. The only drawback was that I asked for a splash of milk and ended up buying a small container. Been here several times. Sadly while the food is good the service and cleanliness has declined drastically. We waited quite a few minutes to order. Had to find a clean table as several held dirty dishes and even after our wait, getting drinks straightened out as wrong ones were brought out to us , eating fairly slowly the dirty tables were still dirty. We felt bad as one person was working the bar, taking orders, serving and putting up take out orders. The real irritation was as very mature people we were carded and our IDs scrutinized like we were criminals. That's never happened before being carded. When i asked why I got a vague explanation about wanting to practice checking IDs. My suggestion is to clean tables instead of "practicing" on regular customers who are obviously old. With all the choices around this area we sadly won't go back. Dirty tables, slow service and having to get orders straightened out is too much. But the ID checking was bizarre and I literally gad to ask the person for my ID back as the person seemed to be reading everything on my license which made us uncomfortable. read more

DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED. I want to like this place because on the surface they have a great menu. But when you walk in and see piles of dirty dishes everywhere and the place isn't busy it makes me disgusted. Our favorite sandwich is the Grilled Chelsea but when they ruin that by not even grilling it and forgetting to put on the Swiss cheese I am sadly disappointed. I told the waitress about this and she said nothing at all and did not even apologize. As we left the restaurant one of the waiters was sitting by the doorway paying attention to his cellphone and saying nothing or acknowledging us. We have come back here after getting bad service in the past thinking it might improve but when they serve food that is not prepared in the way it is described on the menu then that is the last straw. The way you order is like a cafeteria (order at counter/pay - go find a seat while your food is being "cooked". ) and that's when the nightmare began, the Eggs were from a Box/powdered/liquid - The bacon was cold and under cooked i.e. all Fatty. - The French Toast (bread) was edible. Having enjoyed People's Organic's Minnetonka location we assumed that the experience would be the same. Sadly, it was not. We arrived for a late breakfast around 10:00. Entering the restaurant we encountered a floor peppered with crumbs and other types of leftover food on the floor and the wailing of screaming babies. After placing our order with a very unpleasant person behind the counter, we looked for a place to sit as far away from the screaming babies as possible. The search took us past a planter with dried plantings and brown leaves. Not very appetizing. Our food was brought to the table. The babies continued to wail. The steel cut oatmeal was jammed packed with good things and very much enjoyed. The quiche of the day not so much. Most disappointing was the Peoples Classic Breakfast: the eggs came out cold. We brought the eggs to the counter and notified the counter person. She picked up the plate and said, "OK" as she took it away. Several minutes later, with the babies still wailing, the plate was returned to our table. The eggs were indeed hot. The toast, which had a bite out of one of the pieces, was darker, and the bacon was as stiff as cardboard. Clearly, rather than remake the order, the kitchen simply zapped the plate in a microwave. I drive this place every day when I head to work and have been curious about it. When I saw a groupon I used it as an excuse to stop by and try it out. Let's put it this way, I will definitely want to take my sister here, she's a vegetarian. The food here clearly labels whether the dish is Gluten free (G), Vegan (V) or Vegetarian (VG). The taste is actually really good and the service is good. You have the option to sit down, drive thru and just order to go. Thursday nights has live music but if you want to talk to the person you are with, then dont' come this day. It's really loud and hard to hear anything but the music. I recommend trying the Guacamole, it was very yummy. The presentation for the food was very nice and the food tasted very good. I almost didn't feel guilty eating any of it because it was good. They were helpful even in drive through creating a custom coffee drink I've never tried before and it is yummy! A cold brew with a dash of this & a dash of that & it is actually quite yummy. Organic to boot and that is a huge plus. They have every 10th drink free if you use their old style punch card. Nice! Priced near identically as Starbucks up the street but People's coffee is organic & tastes just as good or better on the cold brew. As far as the food, not sure. I work in Eden Prairie so im really close by to the ep location ( which Bonus Jonas, has a drive thru!!! ) Im the type of person who gets overly excited about anything organic. Mostly because my family is the same way, but also because organic is AMAZING. The menu is a dream with plenty of choices. They have breakfast all day (try the wild rice pancakes!!). They have amazing Chicken wild rice soup, and the best Agave Lemonade. Today I got the Thai Pulled Chicken sandwich and an Agave Lemonade. We sat outside which was wonderful, but I do have to say the outside seating tables should be a little bigger. We had a group of 8 and we were packed in and that resulted in 3 glasses of water tipping over haha.
