When you go during regular lunch or dinner hours, I find this place smashingly delicious & underrated. Your mileage might vary. Their breakfast buffet servers can be hit or miss and I've had some misses but their lunch & dinner menu & outdoor atmosphere in the summer is a little secret hideaway has been spot on every time. I really enjoyed Ivan, our server for lunch last time: attentive & a peach.

This was our 2nd visit to this restaurant. This time was a huge disappointment! Still a very nice atmosphere, but the menu has been slashed. No longer have any entrees or the bowls, only appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. The walleye sandwich was horrible! Quite obviously fried in old grease, it tasted like old grease and came on a dry bun with No tartar sauce or anything on it. Just 2 small filets slapped on a bun. Ick! My partner had the philly steak sandwich which was somewhat better but was also served dry. No au jus to dip into. All in all, Very disappointed and won't be back until their menu greatly improves.

I like to keep my reviews positive but this one was hard. The staff was not able to recommend a single good dish, they looked confused, like they had not eaten there or if there was nothing good. I was pleasantly suprosed that the burger pattie was very good. The fries were soggy and not crispy at all. But the biggest let down were the house smokey rub wings. Good God add a lot of salt and some sugar and you get the same inconsistent overly salted flavor. It was a no go for me. It was sad, because they are sure not cheap.

We stood at the connecting Marriott for 5 days and ate here each morning for breakfast and several times for dinner. Breakfast was great (and included depending on your Marriott status) and our server was the best - he was super friendly and very accommodating. For dinner, I rate lower.. felt overpriced and the cocktails were heavy on the bitters. In summary, definitely come for breakfast and your best bet is a bowl off the dinner menu and a beer or spirit served neat for dinner.

The Good: good beers on tap; food I ordered was good; service from Jen was AWSOME; manager stoped by to make sure everything was good. The Bad: Would have liked to have some healthier options on the menu and nutrition info or at least calorie info printed on the menu. Tip: A yelp coupon for buy one appetizer get one free and another to buy $50 for $30.

The food here is ok but the service is glacially slow. You pay a lot for the food but what you get is very wee, and on a huge plate almost to rub it in that they are messing with you. I actually just walked out as a hotel guest after waiting a long, long time to have someone take my order. It also took a long, long time to even get a menu. This is on my second visit. On my first visit, I put up with the wait and got a salmon McNugget for my troubles.

A solid three for a hotel restaurant. The bar and restaurant have a variety of seating and several TV's to enjoy when traveling solo. The menu is really large, which is a rare find at a hotel restaurant, and allows for good variety especially if you stay at this Marriott property often. I'm not impressed with the beer or wine list. Given the immense amount of craft breweries in MN, let alone the U.S., they haven't plucked for most of them for their offerings. Service is pleasant, not always quick, but adequate.

The interior was super cute, and the space was much larger than we expected. I ordered the red wine flight while my friend chose the white flight. The reds were unique but delicious! It was fun taking a sip, guessing the tasting notes, then checking the informational card to see how close I was. We also split a charcuterie board, which had the perfect variety of meats, cheeses, fruit, and accompaniments to pair with the wines. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely eager to help us find wines we'd enjoy. There was also plenty of easy street parking just around the block. We'd definitely come back!

Enjoyed the wine flight options and the tasting experience and info about wine. Feels clean, bright, and new, and the bathroom is nice. There's a room in back they activate for events. There was a small vendor sale in there. They also have cute merch, jewelry, and goods for sale. They're on the higher price end. They offer free coffee from the Nespresso machine which is a nice touch. They have their own wine shop next door that is kind of expensive. Buying a bottle in the winery and corking it to go is a more affordable option if you plan to drink it right away.

Wow. Spectacularly awful. If you like cold (and I mean COLD)…read morefood and pretentiousness this is the place for you. Now I will say the Tomato toast and the cherry sour drink was good. However, it started going downhill when a dish was brought out by a runner before any of the other dishes and was set on our table without silverware. She left without bringing silverware and it would be a full 5 minutes before our server was able to be flagged down to get us silverware. We noted that this dish needed to be refired and brought out with the remaining dishes. After 15 minutes more the rest if the meal came out, and you guessed it, the original "needs to be refired" dish came out 5 minutes later. My wife's pasta was cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. Think I just opened a can of chef boyardee's and poured on a plate cold. It was disgusting. Oh and the "refired spaghetti" (buttered noodles) was also cold. The chicken parm (which their version is deep fried chicken) was warm but unseasoned and the breading was oil sogged because the frying oil was clearly not hot enough. This place gets 1 star. My favorite part was when the runner was doing her makeup in a mirror behind the hostess stand in the middle of the dining room. At a price of $183 for two for pasta this place needs to rethink their workers, their menu, and how they are going to keep attracting people. Shut down for three weeks and learn how to run your restaurant! That the Strib gave these guys a glowing review is beyond me. Very emperor's new clothes.
