TL;DR: Can't even get an oil change right, or change an air filter. I saw the bad reviews, but I figured "it's just an oil change, any idiot can do it." They sure proved me wrong! Things to know about the vehicle: - My truck is a 2014 F-150 with a 3.5L Ecoboost. - There are a couple of "dust cover" or "shroud" that covers most of the front, bottom of the truck. I refer to that as "dust cover". The dust cover comes off very easily without tools. - the dust covers connects to a metal rock guard. - The oil filter is partly behind the rock guard, so there are channels that take oil from the filter to drains in the rock guard when the filter is removed. My first hint that something was wrong was when I saw him removing a bunch of bolts from under the truck, the only bolt that needs to be removed is the oil plug. The whole time he was working on my truck he had a puzzle expression on his face. It concerned me enough to talk to the gentleman at the service desk to ask him to have someone supervise the, obviously unexperienced, tech that was doing the work. He talked to the tech then assured me everything was fine. After he finished and pulled the truck out of the bay I saw oil pooling under it. I told them about it, and asked them to fix it. They had the tech come out to look at it, and he tried to convince me that it was normal, just a bit left over from when he changed the filter (it has never dripped oil after I changed it). Part of his trying to convince me was to pop the hood and show me the oil filter. With the hood open, I saw that he had not reconnected the mass airflow sensor after replacing the air filter, and the air intake hose was very loose. We fixed both of those items while it was still in the parking space, but I had them pull it back in to the bay to check the oil. Once it was up on the lift, we removed the dust cover under the vehicle and it was totally soaked with oil. It doesn't appear there was any leak, the tech had just not opened the drain in the rock guard before removing the oil filter, so the oil had no where to go except the dust covers. They got a new tech to check it, clean it and get it all ready to go. He was assisted by a third tech. Those techs re-replaced the oil filter while checking that there was no leak. After they had finished and parked the truck, I noticed that they had failed to reconnect the dust cover, and instead had just left it dangling. When I informed them of the issue and tech 3 crawled under the truck to fix the dust cover, he noticed that it was, once again, dripping oil. For the third time, my poor truck was lifted off the ground. Upon inspection, we realized that when he removed the filter again, they had failed to let the channels drain, so the rock guard, once again, got coated with oil. Once again, they had to clean up all the spilled oil. The third time, I believe, was the charm, everything seemed to be back together, and I was finally able to leave. To summarize: - Tech 1 didn't know how to change the oil, didn't ask someone, didn't do it right, tried to convince me he had. - Tech 1 didn't know how to change the air filter, didn't ask someone, didn't do it right. I had to fix his mistake in the parking lot. - Techs 2 & 3 didn't know how to change the oil. I showed them how to properly remove the dust covers and where the oil filter was. - Techs 2 & 3 didn't put things back together when they were done and had to be asked to fix it afterwards. - Techs 2 & 3 didn't make sure the oil was done dripping before putting the dust covers back on. - it took 3 hours to change my oil and air filter, it should have taken 30 minutes. The only good side of the experience is that they didn't charge me for the debacle, but even at that price, it wasn't worth the aggravation. read more

On June 9th I brought my Rav4 in for an oil change. In addition, my brakes were making some squealing noise and I asked if someone could look at them. When I came back to pick up the vehicle, I was told that the brakes looked fine, that the were probably just dusty. The noise continued. On the highway home from Colorado Springs, I had to apply the brakes at high speed and the vehicle stating vibrating excessively. When I returned I had the brakes inspected again. The rear brake pads were completely gone and I was operating the brakes metal on metal. The front pads were minimal. Of course, everything had to be replaced, including the rotors. I truly regret placing my trust in your mechanics. I believe they placed my life and those of my grandchildren, who were riding with me at the time, in jeopardy. read more

I showed up to my appointment and was told the technician wasn't available the rest of the day. I went out of my way to go to this location and they couldn't bother with a phone call to let me know. The only professional I dealt with was Brigette. She was completely attentive and knew exactly what she was doing. She is amazing and deserves a better job with coworkers who respect her. The male receptionist, I mean service writer named John is extremely unprofessional and took my car on a joy ride with the tire tech named Craig. They did not obtain permission from me to drive my vehicle. I was there to have my tires replaced. There was absolutely no reason for the both of them to take my car for a drive (when I arrived for my appointment I did not deal with him at all. We did not speak one word to each other, so why he got involved is beyond me). When I asked why he took my vehicle, he said it was policy. I clarified, So it is company policy that two people take vehicles for a drive when tires need to be replaced?! I requested a copy of the policy. He said he could not provide it. He then got defensive and walked away from me. Next, he went into the bay and said something to Craig and he then decided he would walk off the job. The supervisor Shawn Miller was out on lunch. When Shawn returned, he had to install my tires. He did not apologize on behalf of his employees. He walked past me a few times and said nothing. Once I got my vehicle home I noticed that Craig or Shawn failed to put 2 of my custom valve stem caps on my tires. Don't go to this store at all! Update on my car, i took my 2012 ford fiesta 4 mobths ago into this store for a noise turned out it was bad alternator and the belt. I kept bringing it back to them for about a week in april and it kept making the noise, and they kept saying there is no noise but they replaced the alternator and belt. Long story short i took my still squealing car to another repair shop and they the technician put the belt on backwards but the alternator was fine. Flash forward 4 months, car starts making the same noise again, i take it back to my repair shop that actually knows what it's doing and they said the alternator was bad. So the part that this disrespectful company put in didn't last a year. So if you have any respect for your car and your money, NEVER go to this place to get your car repaired. read more

I scheduled an alignment appointment online. Pep Boys sent me appointment reminder dates regarding my alignment. I showed up for my appointment today on time and I was told by the manager Dustin that I was not able to get an alignment and that I would have to reschedule because they only had one tech and he was doing an engine all day. It's not acceptable. The manager then blamed corporate and the online system instead of taking accountability for the situation. The online system needs to be fixed apparently but also management at the store could use some problem-solving training instead of just blaming their problems on corporate and telling their customers that their hands are tied. So. Husband found a battery online and we went to pick it up. Lady at the counter says they don't have that battery, even though the online system says this location does have one. We make many troublesome arrangements for another battery to come from another location, and then discover that the lady was looking for the wrong battery all along. So that's forty minutes we can't get back. When we got the battery home husband installed it, went to start the truck and...slow, slow crank and then clickety-click. The battery is completely dead. He had to uninstall the battery and now we get to do this dance again. Pretty frustrating!!!! read more

Took my car in for a routine oil change. Nothing was wrong with the vehicle, its regularly maintenance by a certified Lexus/Toyota mechanic and always up to date. No leaks. An hour later they strip the oil plug on my oil pan, tell me I need to pay an additional 90.00 for a new oil pan and 70$ for the labor... I can't take the vehicle anywhere else for a second opinion because now the car won't hold oil... so I have no choice but to pay. They extended my repair time and said they would call... They DID NOT CALL AGAIN. I had to get a ride to the location to see what was going on. They sent an employee to the window to tell me the store was closed. I asked for Richard the manager and he TRIED TO SNEAK OUT instead of talk to me and tell me what happened with the car. He told me the register was locked in the safe and I was out of luck and the I needed to return to the store at 730am the next morning which made me late for work... He told me they called me but it "didn't go through" but the call that they made to tell me about the mistake with the oil pan did??? It makes ZERO sense! Im FURIOUS and Im very disappointed in the service and unprofessionalism of the people that work here at this location. And I feel as though I've been conned. It's flat out wrong to do this to people. I hope this review prevents others from having to have a similar experience. Two thumbs down for this location. Hello, I have a few stories to tell. I got my car October 2015 (used 1993). I bought new wipers there and asked them to put them on. When I got my car back the arm for the wiper on the driver side was detached. I took them back and asked why they didn't work. I was told that my car was broken before I got there. I asked why I was never informed about this during installation. There was no response. I gave them a second chance. I used to work for them in 2005-06 after high school so I thought they were good people. I bought 4 brand new tires June 24, 2016 with a 80K mile warranty. I know work for a warranty company so I am very informed in what my warranty covers. To get to the point, I dropped my car off at 11:30 this morning. I had a flat tire with a piece of broken metal sticking out of it. I asked them to replace or repair the tire in question. It IS under warranty. The lady was very nice and said it was going to take all day. I advised there was an interlock in it and she said it wasn't going to be a problem and they could override it. I am still unsure what that meant but I took her word for it. I replied that that's fine and if they didn't need anything else from me, I was going to go home so called an Uber. Lets get the time line correct. So I dropped it off at 11:30am admitting it had an interlock in it. I called at 3:36pm to get an update as I was advised it would take a good portion of the day. They had not gotten to my car yet but were looking at it. That was fine because I knew they were short staffed and it was going to take all day. I called again at 6:01. I was told it had not been brought in due to the interlock. They said they needed a new mouth piece. I advised there were about 20 in the car. Several are still wrapped in plastic. They are in the center console as well as the glove compartment and the ashtray. I also said that if this was a question, why wasn't I notified earlier. No response other than they thought someone had already called me. I advised that I was told this was going to be done today and asked if it would be ready before close at 8. I was advised it would be. So I call back at 7:44. 16 minutes before close. I asked if my car was done. Mind you the work I requested was a flat tire that THEY PLACED UNDER WARRANTY. Also, it has been 8 hours since it has been dropped off. The same lady that took my car in the morning answered the phone. I asked for a status on my car and advised her that I was told it would be done before they closed at 8pm... twice today. She responded with the fact that I DIDN'T COME DOWN AND START THE INTERLOCK FOR THEM. Again, I advised that if that was a problem, I would come fix it. No one has called or notified me that this was something I had to do. I also reminded her that she said they could bypass the system when I dropped it off at 11:30am. She said she didn't need to be yelled at. I said that I was not yelling because I am sick and couldn't raise my voice if I wanted to. I just want my car. I was told it would be ready by now. I asked her why there are so many excuses each time I call. SHE HUNG UP ON ME! Let's just say, they will take care of my tire for the next 78000 miles because I paid for the warranty. Otherwise, I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY. Never, have I ever dealt with someone so rude. Also, I worked for this same company 10 years ago. I never treated customers like this. AND I HAVE NEVER HUNG UP ON A CUSTOMER! So very disappointed to be leaving this company. I have always thought so highly of them. I am embarrassed to say that I was ever employed by this company because I never treated customers the way I was treated today. Very sad that it has come to this. I purchased a power steering pump at this location and the pump was bad ,out of the box .I called there and spoke with Brandy i think and she told me that it was covered under warranty,I was glad to hear that due to it was only one day old ,so she told me that she was going to order one from the warehouse and it would be in the store at 2:00 pm.I was there at 2:30 pm and i was told that the pump was not covered and i had to buy a new one. I was upset and told the salesman THEN SELL ME ANOTHER ONE...he tells me that she never ordered one for me ...........IF I WANTED TO BE LIED TO I WOULD CALL MY EX WIFE .......I was spending a lot of money at this location , but not any more . I've been here 3 times in the past year for various automotive work and I gave Pep Boys an extra star for being open on the weekends. Good luck getting any work done elsewhere on a Sunday. The prices are competitive and I haven't had any issues with the work that's been done (brake jobs and tires mostly for Honda and Ford). Be prepared though for a long wait. This isn't Jiffy Lube. If you drop your car off first thing Saturday morning don't expect it back until at least 3 or 4PM as they get pretty busy on the weekends. One of my pet peeves is the bankers hours kept by most automotive repair shops so I really appreciate that Pep Boys is open on the weekends. They've saved me a few times due to that. read more

These people are clueless, rude, and the service is horrendous. DO NOT go there unless you like headaches and inconvenience. - On original visit had a headlamp put in. - Headlamp went out about 1 day after 90 day warranty expired. (They put in crappy parts). - By the way, they NEVER tell you any options on what parts you want, or give you ANY warranty information BEFORE OR AFTER putting it in. You will have to ask them for it. If they had told me the original headlamp only had a 90 day warranty on the first visit before putting it in but others might have longer warranties, I might have made a different decision but they never gave me that option. DO NOT have them put in Phillipps headlamps.) - I insisted with the manager Loring that he replace that part and I agreed to pay for labor. Made an appointment. - I came at my appointment time, wasn't reserved in their system. Waited 20 minutes for Loring to talk to me, he didn't remember our conversation at all, but he did agree to stick to what he had promised. - After Loring had said right in front of him it would be $15, Zach the clerk still rang it up for $34 and tried to have me sign it. Nope! - I asked how long the repair would be and this other tech Colton Sudweeks said an hour and a half (yes, for just replacing a headlight). I asked why and he actually said "well I want to see if there's any other work I can do first before getting to yours." When Colton was told there were no other jobs to do first he reluctantly said "Okay, half an hour". WOW nothing like a tech telling you he wants to do anyone's job BUT yours! - To be fair, the car WAS ready when I got back half an hour later and the headlight does work (so far). - During my visit the line for the service desk was not managed whatsoever. People were made to wait, they weren't guided as to where the line was, and several techs walked by without asking to help them or saying they would be with them shortly. - In the lounge, during business hours, all the seats where up on the bench like the store was closed (very rude and inconsiderate towards customers.) - During my turn in line Zach interrupted helping me to talk to at least 2 other customers, and Loring talked to one other customer during my turn as well. - Zach had to ask for my information 4 separate times to keep looking me up in the computer. The second time you have to ask you should write it down. - I asked Zach to tell me the specific manufacturer and model of the replacement headlight and he never did get me this information. - Another sales associate apologized for all the goofups, saying he was trying to fix them and admitting things were totally chaotic there and he didn't enjoy working there. NONE of these things is okay, but I felt especially unwelcome, unappreciated etc. I will NEVER take my car there again for ANYTHING and will tell EVERYONE I know not to as well. read more

I get here and was told it's $79 per tire plus $44 install the tires and taxes added on top of that. When someone asks for the total price give that to them. Total price means everything-tires, installation, and taxes. I wasted 35 dribe to get here to be told this. On top of that there's no cars being workef on and I was told I couldn't wait for my car to get done because they're cleaning the shop. You clean before the shop opens. That's customer service 101. Do not take your car here! I went here because it was convenient and I was getting a ROUTINE brake job done. It wasn't routine for this place. I had an appointment to drop the car off at 9am Saturday and wasn't able to pick the car up until Sunday afternoon. Fine. Drove the car to work Monday and the brake pedal felt soft, probably just needed to be bled. I called them and was able to drop it off. They called me later that night and said the master cylinder was bad. I told them not do a thing and that I was coming to get the car. I get there and the car has no brakes what so ever, none at all and the car is un drivable. Turns out they had broken something in the booster and wasn't I able to pick car up until Friday. Almost a week I was without a car. The fixed what they broke for free after a few arguments. Don't go here. I wouldn't even go back to this place for an air freshener. Came here for some accessory parts for my new Jeep a few weeks ago. I'd gone to the parts department at the Jeep dealership on Havana. They didn't have what I wanted in stock, and the computer showed over 30 back orders at the distribution center with no delivery estimate from the supplier. The parts clerk suggested Pep Boys, and even told me they use the same suppliers. They didn't have the parts in stock either, but told me they could get them in three to five days. Three days later my phone rang, and the parts were in. Drove by that night. Five minutes after walking through the door I was on my way home with the parts. Bing, bang, boom - it doesn't get any better than that! And as an added bonus they charged me $64 for the same parts Jeep was going to charge me $102 for. Identical parts, except without the Jeep logo. If I didn't already have a relationship with a good mechanic, I'd be tempted to use them for my maintenance and repairs. read more

Came here last evening and had the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I walk in can not even find oil. There are 3 employees working and not one of them would help me. Matter of fact I went up to where I seen a small section of oil and there was a woman on the computer who ignored me. Another gentleman at the cash register finding things to do so he wouldn't have to help me. I left extremely dissatisfied and will NEVER go to a pep boys ever again. Horrendous service. Came in on a busy day, in desperate need of 2 new tires, and was told they would be able to squeeze me in at 1pm and I should arrive a little early. I arrived at 12:45PM and as of now, 4:30PM, they are yet to even look at my car. When I inquired, I was told my ticket was at the front but every time I looked in the garage, a new car that wasn't mine was being worked on. No communication from staff and when I asked about returning tomorrow, was told I would wait just as long. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from a business. read more

Took my car in because it was overheating. Replaced water pump and thermostat prior to bringing my car in. After waiting 2 hours for my car to be looked at, they gave me an estimate of $1200.00. I paid $34.00 for the diagnostic fee. I ended up having my friend's husband look at it this weekend and it only needed to be bled and a new radiator cap. Now my car is up and running. Look somewhere else to get your car serviced. They will attempt to take as much money from you as possible. read more

Had a perfectly decent experience with the service department here today. While looking for someone to change my oil, I called up Pep Boys for a quote. They told me the price (about $70 for a full synthetic change) but said that they were super busy and unless I could get there right now, I probably would have to wait til tomorrow. I looked elsewhere and then decided to try Pep Boys anyway. This time I looked online and was able to book an appointment electronically and get a coupon. When I arrived, I was told that I should not have been able to make an appointment online, and that the online booking system was "supposed to be disabled" for the store. Two people ahead of me had just been turned away due to their full schedule, so I was certain they were going to tell me I was SOL and turn me away. Instead they booked me in anyway with a promise it would be done in time for another service I had scheduled elsewhere later in the day. They ended up calling me within an hour of me dropping it off to tell me it was done. Considering how busy they seemed to be, I was impressed. My only issue is that they charged me for 6 quarts of oil instead of 5 - my vehicle has an oil capacity of 5 quarts, so how did it take 6...? So that's a bit of a charge I wasn't expecting, but at least I got my oil done today! read more

I was just in buying some parts for my truck when I was checking out the register we were on froze in the middle of the transaction of course after I swiped my card. I was told it didn't go through. We went over to the next one no big deal,till I look at my bank statement through the app to see that have been charged twice and one of the transactions where for a cent more. Meaning in going to go in with two different totals telling them I been charged twice for the same product. Let's see what happens. read more

Worst customer service. Came in for a replacement master cylinder that was supposed to be a same day fix. It's now going to be a week that the car is in the shop from the time I right this review. I drove by the shop one night to see if my car was in the garage instead of on the lot. I found my car in the garage with the car lights on and nobody in there. The next day, I confronted the employee that was working on my car asking why you left my lights on. And they told me they couldn't turn them off. Plain and simple these people can't be trusted. I had to call these people over and over again just to get status updates on an overdue service. I had to go over there just to shut my lights off and make sure nothing was damaged electronically. I talked to the mechanic to see what's taking so long on my car and with the information they have given me it sounds like they don't even know what they are doing, which scares me because now I'm wondering if this car will keep safe on the road after this repair. This company does not update there E service tracking to see how your car is doing when in the shop. After talking to the manager and the people working on my car. It's clear to me that this company does not put customer service at the forefront of everything they do as it clearly says on there website. Do not trust these people with your car. There customer service does not give the customer peace of mind and convenience. Do not trust this company for there quality of service through repairs might cost you your life and the life of others. read more

I bought two tires in later 2012 and don't drive very much and when I went to a dealership for inspection and tune up they noted those very two tires had low tread and needed to be replaced! I called Pep Boys and even though I said the tread was low and asked what my options were the clerk asked me if my tires were low because of low air volume or low tread. I went in right after I'd phoned since I was told it was a good time to go in only to find the customer lines long and the service center bays filled with cars and not a single tech in sight. There is no separate service desk so you have to wait in line with customers buying products and the wait was long and other customers were clearly impatient with the tedious staff. When I was waited on I told the clerk that I was there to see the customer service manager but the clerk insisted that I explain to him why I was there and then ended up saying, "yeah, you'll have to speak with him." Dufus. When the manager came over he was very friendly but didn't remember speaking to me just before I arrived! Then he remembered that he had printed out my prior purchase order from 2012 and it was laying on the countertop in front of him. He told me that the "only" tech who could measure tread was being sent to dinner and that I would have to wait and leave my car in line. Last time I was promised that it took them 3 hours and it was to correct the alignment after the two new tires were installed and they thought they'd botched up my alignment so they had to look at it again on the lift, and it was getting so late at night I ended up getting a ride from from a friend and retrieving my car the next day. I had to drive another 1.5 hours to get home and it was rushhour so I couldn't leave it again. Two weeks later I've moved out of state and my recourse, other than to take a loss and buy new tires elsewhere, is to write their corporate office. I had even bought their "insurance" on the tires. Fat lotta good that does when they don't have manpower/time/proper staffing to evaluate the issue. Bad business! Disorganized, And in the end it'll cost you more to go here in because their service quality and their product quality is so low you end up going elsewhere to get their work/product corrected. Their location and the ever-changing moving in/moving out population of Denver keeps them in business. It's not their quality! read more

I am finally calm enough to write a review. Monday January 3, 2011 I got up early so that my husband could jump my car and I could make it to this Pep Boys to have them check my alternator and battery and replace the battery if that was indeed the reason my car didn't want to start. I arrived about 10 minutes before they opened on a brisk 19 degree morning to find that I was the third person waiting. I was third in line at the desk to check in. I was third to sit in their basically unheated waiting area. After 2.5 hours I went up to the counter to check on the status of my vehicle. The nicer man that checked me in (name I can't remember) wasn't there but Ted (I believe it was Ted, otherwise some other short T-name) was there. I asked what was going on with my car. Ted: Well what do you want to do? Me: I'm not sure, no one has told me what is wrong with it. I have been sitting in your waiting area waiting. Ted: Oh, well basically you need a new engine. Before I could speak, the man who checked me in came up and took over. Me: What do you mean I need a new engine? Man: Well, your rod is broken so you need a new engine. Me: Look, I just wanted the battery looked at.... Man: We could replace the battery, but you would probably get down the road and your car would explode. Me: Are you SURE we are talking about MY car? Man: Yes, your car. Me: What exactly is a rod? Man: You know, a connecting rod. It's important. I can't believe you didn't realize your car was making bad noises. Me: It wasn't. What would cause this rod to break? Man: You didn't put oil in it. That breaks rods. Me: I just got the oil changed 2 months ago and I do it every 6 months like clockwork. Man: Well, it's broken. What do you want to do? Me: Hold on I'm calling my husband. My husband was in a meeting and unavailable so I did the next best thing. I called my father. He said he couldn't believe the rod was broken, explained to me what it was (since the guy behind the counter couldn't/wouldn't, and said that if my car wasn't making a weird noise they were wrong and he wanted to talk to the mechanic for me. I approached the guy at the counter again and I requested to talk to the mechanic. Ted was helping another customer and completely and interrupted his customer to jump in and glare at me and tell me that the mechanic wasn't there!! Suddenly the mechanic has gone missing without him even checking? The other man suggested he would talk to my father. I let him. He told my father that the rod was broken, and that it was because I had failed to put oil in my car. I was fuming. At this point, I'm freezing cold, hungry (because I didn't eat breakfast because this should only have taken 30 minutes), and angry. I tell them I want to take my car and get a second opinion. The two men look at each other like they can't believe this woman has taken up so much of their time. The man goes to get my keys and get me checked out. I'm about to PAY THEM for their services when he hands me "my" keys. NOT MY KEYS. He hands me car keys that are not mine. This is after I asked him to verify that they were working on my car in the first place. RIDICULOUS. I tell him that and he gets all flustered. Turns out, they had taken a car back that was the same model as my car, but not my car and they hadn't even LOOKED AT MY CAR. I have now been there for over 3 hours, they have given me a heart attack, I'm cold, miserable, hungry, angry, and they are completely unapologetic. I'm so horrible that I just let them verify that it is indeed only a battery issue and have them replace it (If I didn't know that I would have to take off a wheel and go underneath the car to replace the battery at this point I would have done it myself.) After being there for over 4 hours, having them treat me like garbage, talk down to me, and in the end completely bungle I very easy thing -- I PAID FULL PRICE. Even though they have a "no return" policy, they refuse to trade out a product that they didn't research right. Granted it was only $6.59 of brake light bulbs, but if you're going to sell something - get it right and make it right if you screw up! I would NEVER recommend this business! read more

I took my car there to get a oil change and the took all day. That did not call me when it was done then left it outside UNLOCKED! Someone stole a lot of my stuff and Pep Boys said there not liable even tho they left it UNLOCKED. read more

She did an excellent job coordinating the service department to ensure my experience was prompt and high quality. She was extremely attentive and explained things so that I could understand them. read more

On 10/11/2016 Long story short I spent over 2 hours awaiting the the tech to install my tires his name is Zack. Then Zack completes the job, then figures out the caps won't go on because the lug nuts are to long, after all this time he finally comes to me and said you need new lug nuts. I was so infuriated on waiting over two hours, to get my car and had to reschedule my appointment with my Dr. due to the fact of complete laziness and slowness. 2nd incident was my son had one of his tires go out and we drop it off to get repaired after Christmas but before New Years Eve, my wife shows up the next day the tire was not at the location we were directed to leave it a black man with an accent had a bad attitude towards her. After 20-30 minutes later found the tire and " Is this the tire"? She said yes and just rolled it towards her and it fell down, then ask him if he could help her with the tire to the car and he told her "i have a bad back". So finally he rolled it out to the car then asked another customer to help her put it in the car. Overall I have had the worst most unprofessional customer service at this pep boys in years!!!! This is the worse place you can get your car serviced. I made an appointment for an oil change a day ahead and when I showed up they ask me if I could wait for 2 hours because they are backed up. I don't understand what's the point of taking an appointment if they are not going to honor it. The worse thing is they didn't even bother to apologize for their screw up. read more

Don't go here. They told me $80 over the phone to get brake work done, I get there and they tell me $140. I found the woman who told me $80 and she admitted she told me $80 and refused to do anything to discount.
