Maybe go there if you need a flat tire fixed. This group only look for an upsell. They took advantage of my son and thank god I stepped in. They did a wheel alignment with a broken control arm. There answer is we will give you one for free. So that tells me they do not have educated mechanics. But I do not blame the mechanics for following a business model that rips people off. I will make this quick . After first first issue with tires rim and control arm. My son decided to Give them another chance . they wanted to charge my son the $1200 for replacing a gas exhaust sensor and changing out 4 spark plugs. They were charging the poor kid double the cost that Nissan charged. That cost was $825. Found a local service station that did it in least than an hour and charged $300 with tax and credit car fees. This was a $500 difference. Did not get the plugs done but Pep Boys wanted $400 for 4 plugs and labor. I got a cost at this service station for $180. Beware as this place is there to over sell and upsell not to build a customer base of satisfied customers .All I can say to Ramsey pep boys it will eventually come back bite you right in the butt. Horrible company in all levels. I went there a couple of years ago because they promoted a deal that if you open a credit card and spend more than $100 you get a $100 gift card. I spent more than $2000 because ai sent two cars there but never received the gift bards. After I called, I received an email from some manger who assured me that the cards will come immediately. To this day then never came and that person does not even answer to my emails. I stopped doing business with them so in addition to that, their card lowered my credit line affecting my credit score. read more

Just an update on the situation. I took my car to another, independent, mechanic and they had no problem getting the drain plug off and I was out of there in 30 minutes and $45. Be smart about your auto repair choices!!! read more

I have been to this location a few times with tire issues and today to get some routine maintenance done and I always have a great experience at this location. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and explain everything you need done. They don't have you get extraneous services to jack the bill up. I will continue to go here over the dealership because they are much more reasonable and more pleasant to deal with. read more

This staff SUCKS! went in for an oil change, they stated they were busy. i look into service bays, cars there but not one soul was walking around nor actually working on any vehicles. i walked outside to get a different vantage point. Same. not one person working on the cars. i did see the shift manager and one of the workers in the corner on their phones. "perfect" Attitudes the person in the white shirt, manager, asked me if there was a problem. mind you at this point this is after i was at the glass door knocking trying to get someone's attention. then i had to walk outside to the open bay doors. the manager was on his phone along with the worker. during all this, his body language didn't offer any concern at all. he kept on viewing his phone. So he asked the question, is there a problem? i answered. he did nothing. no reply. just kept on viewing his phone. WAY TO GO PEP BOYS! you are a class act. read more

Where should I begin? Pep Boys emailed me a coupon for 25% off an oil change during the month of November. I was almost due, so I figured I would give them a shot. On Thursday, 11/9, I easily made an online appointment for Friday, 11/10 at 8:30 AM, basically I had my pick of any time. I checked off that I would wait for my vehicle. I arrived at 8:25 AM, and was greeted by a line of 5 people, right to the front door, with one service advisor at the desk. I waited in line for 20 minutes, and told the advisor I had an 8:30 appointment. He found my appointment on the computer and asked for the key to my vehicle, and asked if I would be waiting for it. I told him yes, as that was already part of my reservation. Then I asked how long it would take. He said it would be at least an hour until he could get my vehicle into a bay. What exactly is the point of having an 8:30 appointment? I told him I was not going to be able to wait that long, then he asks if I would like to make a different appointment. Again-why am I making an appointment if it's pot luck as to when you are getting to my vehicle? No thanks, I'd rather pay full price somewhere else. Stay away. read more

It's never worth it to save money on tires in exchange for the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This establishment is clearly understaffed and has problems with scheduling. I would not suggest making an appointment online or calling over the phone because they will not be able to work on your vehicle. I was inconvenienced and turned away twice after a confirmation was made earlier in the day .You will leave unsatisfied and disappointed. I highly suggest going to another reputable tire shop and paying full price, that's what I plan to do. read more

Spoke to JHAD for 4 tires for my Porsche Macan. He priced me at approx $1150 but told me if I gave him $100 on the side he'd do the job for $800 since there weren't any applicable coupons. I ordered and confirmed for Tuesday. A few hours later he called back and told me the price was actually $1500+ but for $200 he could do for $1100. Nothing about this transaction seems kosher. Avoid this new business at all costs. Was there today at 1 pm today and there were multiple customers in the office without a mask on and the technicians at the desk did nothing about it or request for them to put it on. Also they told me how my car required synthetic oil, and did not accept any discussion about it. There are multiple other safer places up and down route 17. This place is dangerous!!! I went in for a simple oil change. Driving home I hear a vibration coming from the bottom of the car. I pulled over and looked under the car and see that the skid plate was not placed properly and was ready to fly off. I quickly went back, and the advisor assured me that they will make this right and order the parts and put in a temporary fix with zip ties. It has been 5 days now and every time I call, they tell me they will order the parts. What's really scary is that they knew they took the plate off improperly, yet they let drive off anyway hoping I would not notice. This could have been a very dangerous situation for me and others around me. Scary to think about my wife driving down the highway with my kids and the plate flying off and hitting another car. STAY AWAY!! The $10 dollars in savings could end up being disastrous..... read more

I though this service center was clean, professional and truly cares about the customer. The mechanics made a point to come in and say hello while I was waiting. I was updated on my phone while I was waiting for my oil change which took about 15-20 minutes. I was also able to find a coupon online which helped. shame on you pep boys i went there past saturday with my sons car and told them about the front tire seemed low and the light was on so they took car in and 3 hours later they told it could not be fixed i need a new tire for 189.00 plus tax i left with the car and went across the street the next day to mavis and told them the same thing within maybe 15 minutes tire was fixed and said to me no charge wow what a difference shame on you pep boys read more

Although they were busy and understaffed on a summer Friday, Devon told me it would be 90 minutes and 90 minutes later exactly on time my car was complete . I do not understand how this place got bad reviews. I guess there are always those type of people. I dealt with Frankie first who is the manager and he was very professional and very nice. I've been to other pep boys and Firestone's and had such horrible service and they could not tell me what was wrong with my car. Then I met Philip who is the master mechanic. My god he knows his stuff. He was able to diagnose my car and was extremely nice and professional. I didn't even need to leave. He was so quick and had no issues since. I will be coming here again and having everyone I know come here. Ask for Philip if you need anything done to your car. He really is great! read more
