Food is yummy. Place is clean and service is quick and friendly. Ordered the Carmel cheesecake and the hot steak sandwich
I've been eyeing this place for awhile for a post gym meal! Finally got to check it out, and it did not disappoint. It was pretty bustling the day I went so you could hear active sizzling on the skillet and sandwiches being made. I got the french dip to go and a couple of pre-made desserts to go. I didn't eat the sandwich for about 45 minutes because I had some errands on the way home, and the french dip was surprisingly still warm. It was so good!!!! I'm sure it would have been even better if I had eaten it while it was fresh and hot. Service was friendly, and my order was prepared in about five minutes. There were a handful of spots to sit inside and some outside seating. Ambiance was super casual (order at the counter and wait for your name to be called type place). I will definitely return again!
Wow! Their menu instantly reminded me of Cheesecake Factory's menu...extensive. But honestly, that's not a bad thing because there are plenty of options. They have everything from hot sandwiches and cold sandwiches to salads, wraps, and even breakfast items. You can order at the counter or on the kiosk. I ordered on the kiosk. Simple and quick. I ordered the wild-caught salmon sandwich with salmon, arugula, and garlic aioli. The salmon was cooked perfectly. They were a little skimpy on the aioli, so the sandwich was kind of dry, but it was still good. I also got a side of fries, and those shoestring fries were nice and crispy. Prices are reasonable, and there's seating both inside and outside. Shout out to Crystal. I don't know if she's the manager, but she definitely cares about quality customer service. Someone ordered the Green Beret sandwich, and it was brought out on toasted bread when apparently it wasn't supposed to be. She immediately went to the counter and let the cooks know about it. She meant business, and I liked that.
Food is fantastic. So beautifully done. Service is quick and amazing. Ambience is cozy. And you can eat outside.
I always walk past this place and I always see how delicious and beautifully plated customers foods are. So I decided to go check this place out and now it one my favorite places in santee to eat at!! The food is absolutely delicious and tasty. The portions are huge. Definitely can take the rest home or you can share with someone else and get multiple items off the menu to try like I did. The food is fresh and not greasy at all. The service is excellent! Honestly the employees that work there are the best! It was our first time there and we didn't know what to get so we asked a bunch of questions and they were very patient and took their time with us and gave us recommendations on what to get. It was very helpful! They have plenty of seating inside and outside. They have umbrellas outside when it is sunny which is great. They have plenty of parking which is the best. If you haven't been here yet you definitely need to go. Trust me their food is worth it.

First time here, and overall a good experience. To be honest, I was expecting a traditional deli, the menu is massive- everything from flatbread to lobster roll and just about everything in between. I ordered the filet wrap w tomato basil soup and my friend ordered the Green goddess w gyro and a couple of drinks. The Avocado goddess was hands down the best looking salad I've ever seen, seriously magazine worthy. My wrap and soup were solid as well. The only thing that really stood out to me was the price, the bill close to $60. Is it good? absolutely. Is it the best deli in town. I'd say it feels more like a gourmet sandwich shop than a traditional deli. Quality food but definitely on the pricier side.
This place has an insane menu. If you're hungry this is the place to come. You will definitely not leave hungry. The inside is super clean and has a few tables. They also have tables outside as well. The service is amazing. The food is very good. Huge portions and the price is awesome. I come here every time I'm in the area. Thank you Pepper Farm Deli for the great food and your hospitality.
Service is fast and food is great! Best sub I have had in a while. This place so many options and great quality in!!! They even have fresh real smoothies and fresh pressed juices. They have it all. quality is definitely at the heart of this place. It's a lil deli so not too much seating inside but they have a little outside seating out front as well
First time eating here. Apparently it's a popular place. It wasn't all that busy when I got here but after eating it got packed so just be aware. You can order at the register or use their kiosks which are very easy to navigate. There's seating inside and outside and they serve Coke products. The place is well laid out and clean. Now on to the food. I got the Grilled Cheese Double Patty Bacon Cheeseburger. It was served piping hot and looked great. All in all the burger was very good but it's not something I would order again. Just too big making it somewhat tough to eat. You can tell they grind their own meat for the burger but honestly I think it could have used more flavor given what I've had elsewhere. Also, the meat was cooked "well" but was still juicy. Next time I'll try one of the other burger options. Looking at the other orders that people were picking up (sandwiches, fries, flatbread, and salads) they all looked really good. Well prepared and good sized portions. The menu has a lot of variety. I will be back.
TL;DR: Found this place on TikTok, it was a great deli spot that really fills their sandwiches for the price you pay. Parking here is super easy since it's located in a big shopping center with abundant spots. I was already in the area and wanted to find a good spot for lunch after seeing this place on TikTok. When you walk in, the process is quick and simple. You order and pay right at two self-serve kiosks. If you order a drink, they have it ready as soon as you pay and will call out your name. The wait time for the food isn't crazy long at all. We waited maybe 10 to 15 minutes total. We didn't really interact with the staff much, so I can't speak on customer service, but they sure do a great job of making good sandwiches. My girlfriend got the Bovine sandwich, and it was really good. It gets a bit messy to eat, but it is jam-packed with meat. I got the roast beef grinder, which was also loaded. The bread on the grinder was pretty tough, but I personally still enjoyed it. Plus, every sandwich comes with a super delicious and crunchy pickle on the side. As for seating, they have a limited amount of space inside, but there is additional seating outside. You can grab takeout like we did, or eat there and they'll serve your meal on actual plates. If I'm in town I'd like to try some of their hot sandwiches or burgers.
Came here for work lunch and we all tried a few different things. The staff were friendly and immediately greeted us. The Chipotle Chicken Sandwich was pretty large and could have been shared by two people! The flavors were all very good, just a little messy to eat. The Porto vegetarian sandwich was very good, even if you aren't a vegetarian I think you enjoy this! Lastly, the Philly Cheesesteak was full of flavor. None of these sandwiches came with any sides unfortunately, so you should look at sharing a few side options for the table.
I had to buy lunch today but I wanted to try a place I hadn't eaten before. I initially looked at burger joints but then saw this place listed in the Santee area. After perusing through the menu, two of the sandwiches intrigued me. The London BBQ sandwich and the Sweetbird. The Sweetbird seemed like the healthier option and it had the added benefit of being a "cold sandwich" so that I could transport it in my car, do my errands, and eat at home without it cooling down. Hot sandwiches would have been best to be eaten immediately. I was also intrigued by the claim chowder but decided against it because I'm going to a seafood restaurant tomorrow. I also ordered some fries, which I had immediately because they were hot and I was hungry. I didn't like that they were so salty, and flabby. Salt was literally spilling out of the takeout container. The Sweetbird was moist for a turkey sandwich, but the garlic aioli made the sandwich taste a bit strange. Or it might be the mayo? Or the grapes? I'm not sure. John is the MAN!!!! John vibe and energy is out of this world. Francis was also a great guy, they both made me feel welcomed. Now to the best part of this visit to pepper farm deli. I ordered the flatbread chicken with chipotle and a side of fries or and let me tell you that was one of the best meals I had in a long time. I just left the shop and I cannot stop thinking about the sauce on that flatbread. John explain to me that the sauces are made there which explains why it was so good. The phrase were also very good I'm not sure if I was very hungry or they're just good at what they do. If I could, I'll have given them 100 stars. I would do it in a heartbeat. I came in here a few weeks ago when playing in a tournament in San Diego..The wait to order and receive food was long but it gave me time to look at the huge menu..endless options and everything sounded so good! There wasn't a ton of space to sit inside and then outside you're right in the sun or transients are walking around..no thanks. Ultimately we ordered a flat bread and chicken Cesar salad wrap and a green smoothie that was bomb! I'll definitely eat here again. read more

I absolutely loved this place! I've been hearing about it for awhile and finally decided to check them out. I was unaware that they use organic and clean ingredients (huge plus!). I was also unaware that they had such a huge selection of food items as well as breakfast items. I went in on Sunday with my husband and son. I was hungry, and a little overwhelmed with options but they offer a Neighborhood Lunch Special which really helped me make a decision. It offers 4 select sandwiches (probably most ordered / popular) - half of a sandwich, chips and a soda for $7.99. What a great deal! I decided to add a cup of soup to share with my son (additional $2.99). I went with the Little Italy for my sandwich and I don't regret it. It was a slightly different take on your traditional "Italian" and I loved it! My husband had the same, but a full size and made a couple of mods. We both agreed that the bread was fresh and delicious as well. We ordered my son a cheeseburger with fries off of the kids menu. His burger seemed to be an adult sized burger (awesome!) with no veggies or sauces on it. The fries were hot and perfectly crispy. He enjoyed dipping his fries in the tomato soup that we ordered (so did I!). We placed our order for "to-go" since it was the perfect day for a trip to the park. The woman who took our order wasn't the most inviting, but made sure that our order was correct and quoted us 20 minutes for the order. That seemed pretty appropriate since they were busy and there were about 8 orders ahead of us. They had all the utensils & condiments you might need next to their fountain beverages. The staff otherwise was friendly and efficient, especially getting our order out to us. Items not on special are fairly priced and look like a tasty combination of flavors. Freakin DELICIOUS! First of all, very kind and friendly staff :) Second, my avocado goddess salad was HUGE! Such a generous portion (big enough for two people) and it was so good, super fresh, and so filling. All of the components worked well with each other -- a quality salad indeed. The green beret sandwich hit the spot. I ate half (so I could finish the salad) and saved the other half for later.. still delicious! Honestly it was the perfect size, stuffed with the right amount of ingredients where nothing fell out when you took a bite. The establishment itself is bright and clean. The large chalkboard on the wall in the dining area is a nice touch. If I'm ever in the Santee area craving a sandwich (I love me a good sandwich), this will definitely be my go-to spot! read more

Super clean location. You can smell the cleanliness . Doesn't look like mask are required but I thought there was an inside mask mandate ? Menu is pretty legible and I like that organic products are used . Even the chicken , that's very important to me. I ordered the grilled chicken club sandwich . Was very fresh and organic . Sandwich was good , impressed ! There French fries are pretty good , reminds me of McDonald's fries . They even put foil in the packing container to keep them warm or your ToGo order . Went here on a Saturday night. Nice, clean deli, private parking lot. Francis, co-owner greeted us, great customer service. We ordered Philly cheesesteak Pepper farm turkey club Tomato basil soup Cheesecake The sandwiches were big, the bread on my Philly tasted freshly baked, great portion size of meat, quality food for sure. My husband also enjoyed his turkey club. The tomato basil soup as stated on their website is made from scratch. Soo good. And the cheesecake- I loooove cheesecake and this was a huge slice. Perfect dessert to top off our meal. They have self serve fountain drinks. Also variety bags of chips in like 3 locations in the store. I was excited to see they carried my favorite brand jalapeño chips - dirty brand, however, they were out. Francis was kind enough to check in the back for me but no dice. luckily they had miss vickie's jalapeño chips which is also kettle. They have a fridge displaying more items for sale such as bottled beverages, different cheesecakes, mixed fruit, etc. they also have clam chowder on the menu but they ran out by the time we got there. They have a bathroom. Provide water cups. We dined in and Francis kept checking on us and making sure we had everything we wanted. Sheeeeeeiiitttttt Jon and the staff are doing the damn thing right over here!! I came in about an hour before they closed. My fiancée and I ordered their ground ribeye burger (FOOKING AMAZING) and their london broil (EQUALLY AMAZING) both in ciabatta bread. Oh, and a slice of cheesecake with fresh strawberry slices on top (extra). The meat was fully loaded and so flavorful and juicy. Ahhh! We've been dreaming about these sandwiches since we left the place. Superb customer service. Outstanding flavor and quality. Clean aesthetic. I live in city heights but I would drive alllll the way to santee weekly for these here sammiches. So damn good!! read more

A good sandwich and good service should come hand and hand, and here at the Pepper Farm Deli, they certainly offer both. I had several items, the Little Italy sandwich, a side of tomato soup, and a side of potato salad. The Little Italy came with "Hoagie roll, ham, salami, capicola, tomatoes, red onions, pepperoncinis, arugula, mustard, mayo, olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette" (Pepper Farm Deli, 2021) for $9.99. You can have the hoagie roll toasted if your like. The sandwich was delicious and came with a good amount of cold cuts. I liked the addition of the arugula and the the traditional ice berg lettuce. They sandwich could of uses another slice of cheese, but that's just me. I love Provolone on my Italian sandwiches. The hoagie was very good. It had nice soft texture. The house made tomato soup was thick, rich, and flavorful. It would be a great pairing with the grilled cheese they offer on the kid's menu. Hey, why not an adult grill cheese and soup combo, especially during the colder months. The potato salad was good. It's not made in house, but they do doctor it up a bit to make it their own. This is a great new deli that offers a variety of great eats. I look forward to trying their breakfast burger and their Philly Steak Sandwich. The staff members are super excited about their deli and what they have to offer, and for good reason too. read more

An easy 5 stars. Healthy and organic sandwiches and salads but with all the comfort food flavors that will dazzle your taste buds. The ingredients scream freshness and the ciabatta rolls are particularly good. On top of that, the staff could not be friendlier or more attentive. They are covering all the bases here. I recommend the Warm Fuji sandwich. The combination of that melty blue cheese spread over crispy apples and fresh sliced Turkey is a unique and delicious offering. There's breakfast too - and so many lunch options. Worth repeated visits. You don't have to be a fortune teller to predict this place will be successful. Expect lines in the future. Unless your reading this in 2023, in which case, come early to avoid the insane lunch rush. read more

This was my first time here. First of all. Take your time because the menu is EXTENSIVE. The cashier was friendly and my order came out pretty quick. The Turkey club wrap was incredible! It was served with a deli pickle (shoutout to my pickle girlies). I also enjoyed a green juice from here. It was refreshing and not too much celery which a lot of juices places love to fill their juices with. It's a cute (small) sandwich shop with great outdoor seating. They also had a surprising dessert display. The prices were fair for the size of sandwich. read more

Great food, and great service. And I think everything was reasonably priced for the amount of food we got. We went to have dinner there for the first time, and I got the grilled fillet mignon plate with a salad. When I got my food, I was thinking about how it would be great with some kind of sauce. Right at the moment, someone walked out and asked how everything was tasting and if he can get us anything. I asked for any kind of sauce to try. He then walked out with three different sauces. All were delicious. We had a great experience and definitely recommend. read more

First visit here. Ordered French Dip & Pepper Farm Burger. First the French Dip was great tasting. The dip wasn't too salty and the beef was tender as it should be. The Pepper Farm burger tasted good but it was a bit messy to eat. The meat and the bun kept slipping out, it was challenging to eat. I would suggest, when serving to customers, it be sliced in half. Oh, no fries come with it. In fact on both sandwiches. So price is pretty steep for 1 item!! Also ordered a date shake made with Oat milk. It was horrible! Really disappointed and it was $10 to boot. Hope they think about revamping the recipe. Plenty of parking. Location i. Shopping strip. Not a "do over" for us. We found it pricey and under delivered! read more

Came in this evening needing a quick dinner. The man at the counter was super friendly and helpful with my dietary restrictions and made sure I knew they had alternatives available. Which I LOVE. He was super accommodating with water for our dog, and even came out to verify that my meal was made to my desires. Food was brought out to up pretty quickly! Frank Sinatra was playing and we ate our meal on the patio as the sun was going down. Such a nice way to end our Friday. The thing that impressed me the most, was the effort that was put into making my "different" (no bread no cheese sandwich) sandwich look nice and intentional on the plate! As we were finishing up our meal, there were other patrons leaving who stopped and commented to us that it was their first time and that they too were really impressed listing off of the delicious things that they had ordered and loved. read more

Best place out here in Santee am a truck driver all over Southern California and this is one of my best place for this burger. Everything else looked amazing. Wow I was waiting for my food. Christal was very friendly and super nice and helpful on helping me. Decide what to get highly recommend this place the cooks in the back were you could tell they put love into their art, definitely will be coming back again read more

Wow!!! I had the French dip and it melts in your mouth! You can taste the freshness in all the ingredients. I seen them make my sandwich from scratch. My wife got a pizza and also loved her food. 10 out of 10. Can't wait to come back ! read more

My boyfriend and I came here at night maybe 2 hours or so till closing. And let me just say the food was absolutely amazing !! Both sandwiches were very filling and just made so well! The workers were nice and greeted us once we walked in. The food came out very quickly honestly waited less then 10 mins. The store itself I'd say looks like a classic deli , very welcoming environment!!! read more
