I wasn't sure which cake to pick because they all looked delicious. and her creative artistry seemed impeccable, but I know we didn't have time for that, but I'm keeping that in mind for other occasions in the future Note that this is a small business owner getting her feet firmly planted on the ground, has an interesting story and one that we should all be supporting. She is local in West Hartford, and while has an incorporated business still bakes out of her home, which is great, because this cake was full of love. Now back to the cake. This was amazing. it was layered with a confetti cake and layers of cheesecake. Yes, cheesecake! There's also a thin layer of fresh strawberry jam. I picked it up on Saturday didn't get to eat it until Sunday night and it was tremendous..highly recommend leaving it out for a while so that it gets room temperature and all the flavors meld together. It is now a few days later, and it is still quite moist and soft after storing it in some Tupperware All in all so very happy to have ordered from Sienna and I am hoping for nothing but success for this business, Danyahl and her family.

Afterwards I stay downstairs and experienced the coffee shop. I ordered a gluten-free breakfast sandwich, which was really good. The bread was a bit firm, but I actually appreciated that since most gluten-free bread tends to fall apart. This one held up nicely. My honey latte was absolutely delicious, smooth, perfectly sweet, and beautifully made. There's also a cute outdoor seating area, great for relaxing with coffee on a nice day. Parking is on the street around the corner, since the street the shop is on is closed to cars and open to pedestrians only, which adds to the charm of the area. You order at the counter, get a number, and they bring your food right to your table. When you're finished, you clear your own dishes to the bin, which keeps the place tidy. I also noticed the staff going around regularly wiping tables and keeping everything clean and welcoming. Overall, Bloom Bake Shop has a great vibe, tasty food, and friendly service. Definitely worth checking out!

Is it a flower shop? Is it a coffee shop? Is it a bakery? Of course, it's all three. We popped in a little before their 1:00 Sunday closing today, and the only bakery items remaining were four lemon blueberry scones. We scooped up two of them at $3.75 each. Now a scone isn't always a scone. Some have the density and weight of a doorstop or a hockey puck. Not these, they were as good as any scone we've ever sampled. They were soft, fresh, and bursting with lemon and blueberry fruit and taste. They were exceptionally great. The interior was very pretty with flower displays, booths, tables, and plenty of goodies for sale like bags of granola, pastries, and sandwiches. The exterior dining patio was packed with customers finishing off their lunches or late breakfasts while sipping their coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes. Thank you, Bloom Bake Shop, for a very enjoyable visit.

The food is outstanding every single time--fresh, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. And the bakery? Truly in a league of its own. Every item feels thoughtfully made, with a level of quality and taste that's hard to find anywhere else. This is exactly the kind of small business that deserves to be celebrated and supported in Simsbury, CT. A true local gem that continues to raise the bar--not just in Simsbury, but across the surrounding towns. When it comes to breakfast and lunch, other restaurants inevitably find themselves being compared to Harvest Cafe.

One slice of house sourdough bread toasted and cut in half. On each half, goes a bit of grilled ham, then a poached egg with hollandaise and asparagus topped with bacon crumbles and scallions. Usually, I have a few slices of bacon on the side. Fantastic! I have iced coffee with my breakfast, as would any self-respecting New Englander. Come by the harvest for breakfast or lunch be a little creative even though the menu is full of things that are just outstanding. Say hello to the super manager, Mr. Scott and his crew of servers who never cease to amaze.
