Tried this place for the first time while visiting friends in Cabot. Very friendly, clean, and the food was standard breakfast fare cooked properly and tasty. I had the full spread which I split with my 2 yr old and we had more than enough food for both of us. The pancakes were soft and delicious, the grits were buttery and hot . My husband ordered the biscuits & gravy and had no complaints. Coffee was hot and decent tasting. I would give this place a solid 4 stars and will try it again next year when we visit. Finally got around to trying Peppermill for lunch today. Excellent!! From the food to the service. Waitress was very attentive and kept the drinks refilled. Our table had the sliders, catfish special x 3 and one pork chop breakfast. Breakfast is served all day. No Complaints across the board. Moved to Cabot about a year ago. Tried Peppermill this week for the first time. Breakfast was very good. However, with the covid restrictions requiring masks, the waitresses masks were useless. They did not have them covering their nose. Also, the chef who was probably the owner, did not wear a mask, even when he cam into the dining area. read more

My family of 6 never agrees on where to eat, unless it's Peppermill. We love this place!!! My husband and kids usually get their breakfast. I love their fries with their chipotle mayo, so I always get a lunch item. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose. Friendly staff as well! read more

Came here to try their breakfast for the first time! I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it came with hash browns. They were so accommodating, I accidentally picked up the sugar thinking it was salt and dumped it all over my hash browns! The employees were quick to offer and fix it and make a new hash brown! This is good customer service! They had a good laugh and said that's the first time that's happened at their restaurant. Haha! I highly recommend them for breakfast and dinner. I have been a couple of times and been very impressed both times. I've been during breakfast hours and lunch hours and both times they were staffed adequately to handle the needs. Customer service was great and the food was amazing. I got the Razorback omelette and it was perfect. I had a side of gravy for my biscuit and it was delish!! The burger and fries are also excellent choices and highly recommend. read more

We tried this New place out for the first time this past Saturday. It's located in the shopping center in Cabot where all restaurants have failed bit after seeing the crowd they drew in Saturday morning I think they'll do just fine. Being that it's a new place, naturally everything was clean and orderly and the place looked great. Might be a bit short on table space if they get any more popular. They have a great Breakfast and Lunch Menu with a lot to choose from. I tried the biscuits and gravy which came with a side of bacon. The gravy was supposed to be a sausage gravy but you could cleary tell they just took a small sausage patty, hacked it up, and sprinkled the pieces over the plate. Very disappointing portion of sausage. The bacon could have been cooked a bit longer as it was a tad limp and not crispy in the least. My wife ordered one of the platter breakfasts which included pancakes. This is where Peppermill really shined!!! Best pancakes I've had in a very long time!!! The portions are good and guaranteed not to walk away hungry. In fact, we skipped lunch we were so full from eating here. The service was fantastic and 100% on point. The ladies here treated us great and were very attentive. We will certainly be back in the near future!!! read more

Clean, pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. We've eaten here several times now and never been disappointed. The pancakes and French toast are some of the best around. The bacon is crispy and the coffee is offered with a variety or creamer flavors. Try the chicken strips, catfish, or steak for lunch/dinner. All are delicious. My wife spotted the lunch special of the day on Peppermill's Facebook page, so I decided to get a to-go order of the catfish meal (Friday special) for she and I to split. This was my first time to walk into the restaurant. I found the environment to appear very clean and the staff was very friendly. The catfish lunch included 4 catfish filets, 4 hush puppies, Home made cole slaw, and French fries. The fries looked undercooked but tasted absolutely spectacular! The way they seasoned them made them delicious, and I'd never had a French fry that was cut the way they cut their fries. They are almost like potato chips but in a tasty, crispy, good way. The cole slaw was good, and the hush puppies were decent--(I tend to like stuff in them like corn and jalapeño). The catfish was very good, only critique there would be some of the filets tasted a bit mushy rather than crispy so perhaps could have been cooked longer. The lunch was enough to split and fill both me and my wife up. Overall very satisfied! Last critique would be that we really wish they were open for dinner. I was encouraged by a kind lady working there (possibly one of the owners wives) to try their homemade desserts that she makes. She said she makes pies (banana cream and coconut cream) among other things. I'll have to try dessert next time. We will be back! read more

I had the philly and hubby had roast beef panini. The philly only had meat on half the sandwich and the little meat there was had fat in it. The panini was your basic salty lunch meat and the cheese wasn't melted. The fries were too salty to eat. We won't go back. read more

The fries are an interesting thin cut steak fry. Pretty nice to have something different. Stay away from the philly though. The meat is frozen and its nothing more than a panini. Sort of. Tastes almost just like the frozen philly sandwiches from the grocery store. read more

The gold standard for breakfast is the Cracker Barrel, and this one comes VERY close All they need to add is Country Ham!! At 8AM on a Friday morning, they had more staff than customers, but they are new in town. They do have a much larger lunch crowd. We, and every one else, was greeted by just about every one on staff upon entering the door. What a cheerful place. All brand new. Light and tastefully decorated. Booth and tables and chairs. Everything was spotlessly cleaned. They have 18 breakfast selections. Pricing is generally a tad higher than Cracker Barrel on most items and a tad lower on some. But not having to drive into North Little Rock is well worth the minor price differences. Four choices are on the "Classic" list: Full Spread which includes eggs and pancakes with meat choices, hashbrowns and grits, toast or biscuit. Country Boy Combo (which I had) comes closest to Uncle Herschel's at CB; Bacon, Sausage, ham, eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy -- the real "full spread" deal and the best value IMO. Their biscuits were a bit dense this morning - slightly under-cooked. They need to find the recipe from Hardee's so they can serve tall light ad fluffy since they do make their won fresh every morning. They did taste good though and the gravy, unlike CB, had plenty of sausage chunks -- a real plus over CB's pepper gravy. The Simpleton, which the wife chose, is two eggs, bacon or sausage, toast or biscuit, and hash browns. There has browns are better than CB's, larger portions, and cooked to perfection. Finally, under this category is the One Egg Breakfast. Similar to the Simpleton, but only one egg. Then they have the Deluxe Breakfast category. These include up-scale meats: Pork Chops, Chicken Breast, Sirloin Steak, and Ribeye Steak. Really full meal deals at prices that are not out of line. Under their SPECIALTY heading are Eggs Benedict, Biscuits and Gravy, Pancakes, Breakfast Sandwich, and French Toast selections. Finally, are their OMELETS which include: Build your own, Razorback -- all the pork yo want! Florentine, Western and traditional Ham & Cheese. Their lunch menu s equally eclectic and varied along with Monday through Friday daily specials. No liquor as Lonoke is a dry county but they serve Coca Cola products and really good coffee and tea at only $1,99 vs. the $2.50 to $280 most other places are gigging you for now! Only two criticisms: one, was they did not have any Tabasco for my eggs and no other choice on the table but they do have a variety of BIG bottle hot sauces that you have to ask for and they bring to you in a small metal container. My suggestion it to ether place small bottles on the table (like they do their ketchup) or have a visible rack of bottles so you know what to ask for. And, of course, we would like to see them at least try County Ham as a menu insert special (Burger Ham, please -- NOT Clifty Farms -- UGH!) for a test run to see if it sells. The second; The wait staff spent too much time chatting with the lone guy sitting at the bar to the detriment of paying more attention to the other customers. With the owner present, he should have put a squelch to it and he should work with his staff to be more aware of how this looks and the message it transmits to all the other customers. We will return and we hope you will also visit often. This is a keeper! Let's help them be around a long time as long as they have the great service and food like we received today!
