Overall great food and friendly service! We started outside but it was breezy and started getting chilly so we moved inside. Ordered the whole belly clams for our appetizer and a dozen oysters. The whole bellies are fresh fried and lightly seasoned. Came with a mayo based sauce but we actually liked the cocktail sauce better with them. Oysters were fresh too. We had a couple different lobster rolls, both delicious and large chunks of lobster! Didn't care much for the baked haddock but that's me. My coworkers enjoyed it! Would definitely go back!

Clam strips, seasoned chips and outdoor view were great! Peppered calamari was flavored well, but sat in a bunch of oil which took away from enjoying it. And the service was a lil ehh, my drink was empty for quite some time and after not being checked on for a while I went to find her to request a refill. I would return to try other menu items.

Great food and service! Spent a long weekend in Bangor, Maine (first and probably last time) and figured I should have some lobster during my visit. Pepper's Landing came recommended by Chat GPT and Yelp so we checked it out earlier today. Julia was our server and was phenomenal at her job, especially considering my high maintenance kids. Super kind and fast even though she was waiting on a number of tables. We sat on the patio and enjoyed great weather and a nice view. My husband had the clam chowder and fried haddock sandwich. He's a Bostonian by birth, so his two thumbs up rating of the chowder means something. I had the lobster sauté, which surpassed my expectations, but I was also quite impressed with my side of vegetables - a healthy portion of well seasoned zucchini that was cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed a mocktail which I believe was called Ginger Fizz, and was amused by the cute presentation of the kids meals in a cardboard fishing boat. The perfect accompaniments to a New England meal! Pepper's Landing was definitely a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend!!

Great local spot with a wonderful view if you sit outside. Prices are reasonable, food is excellent. Drinks were great; I hate it when there is too much simple syrup but that was not the case here. Service was great. Will have to come back for the Wednesday discount oyster deal

We had a crab roll and a lobster roll with chips. Both rolls were yummy! Chips seemed a bit overcooked. Nice restaurant layout and an open feel. Very friendly service too.

Food was delicious and very dog friendly! Cocktails delish! I had the clam strips and my husband had the fried chicken! They were both excellent!

Pepper's landing is a mandatory stop on our yearly family Maine vacations. The baked scallops were fluffy little pillows of goodness and the maple burnt ends were a surprising addition to this dish. Our server was friendly and quick. Perfect date night spot for some seafood, and drinks. End dinner with a nice stroll next to the water.

Normally my rating of a Governor's visit could be a predictable 4 or better, but this particular…read morevisit was for their Comfort Food Thursday night buffer, which we have wanted to try for a while. The theme is comfort foods, so it would be optimistic to count on chef quality cuisine. Still, the offering had a few disappointments. Mind you, the pot roast was excellent, tender and tasty, and the juice (au jus?) was much better for the mashed potatoes than the canned gravy they put next to the taters. The bbq pulled pork, the mac and cheese were fine, and I didn't risk trying the dumplings, chicken fingers, French fries or chicken pot pie. The desserts, of course were also okay. The chicken broccoli Alfredo and the pineapple rice chicken dish were also okay. No doubt I would have liked it much more if it came with a few of my own comfort food favorites, such as meatballs, kielbasa and peppers/onion, pasta dishes such as spaghetti, American chop suey or lasagna - well, I could go on. The key is to check on Facebook and see what they are cooking for the buffet before you make plans.

Stopped there for lunch 4/23/26.husband had turkey dinner it was good .i had cheeseburger onion…read more and mayo ,we waited forever to get our food . others that came in after we did had their food ,finally our food came out ,no onion on my burger .she went back got me some onion .omg the burger was burnt on the bottom it was so dry i couldnt eat it I even tried to take the burnt off .the bun was harder then any cracker I've had .the waitress even saw me trying to take the burnt meat off the bottom.it had been a long time since we have been there it's going to be even longer .. We decided to take a couple cookies and a cream puff home .the cream puff was stale and very dry .what the heck is going on with this restaurant.im surprised after reading other reviews that they are still even open Very disappointing i took the burger meat for my dog . Pretty bad that a restaurant can't cook a cheeseburger without burning it .i would have never sent that burger out .time to look for new cooks .
