We had breakfast and it was delicious. Only complaint was the time it took to get our food. The waitress did say they were busier than normal that day though. I had the breakfast burrito and it was very good. It was really big and I could only eat half of it. They have a self serve coffee bar and cozy atmosphere. Would definitely go back again. read more

Small place full of local people. Only got a smoothie with my friends but wished I was hungry as the food looked amazing. Sandwiches and subs all fresh. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Decaf Coffee was wonderful. The jack sausage omelet was a most generous portion and the best omelet I've had in recent memory. This place seemed to have great reviews on the food. Too bad the service was SO SLOW that we left. Just stopped here on our way to catch the ferry to Captiva Island. A table of four was waited on and served before my husband and I, even though we had arrived 15 minutes prior. After 45 minutes, I heard "throw the grouper on", indicating that the fish sandwich I ordered was JUST being placed on the grill. We walked out. read more

What a quaint little place! The coffee setup is great... Several different types are set up in the corner so you can serve it the way you like it! Service was decent: maybe it would be better if not packed so I won't penalize my rating because of it. The food was pretty good too ... Had a pretty big omelette! Good coffee , the omelets are good but the pancakes weren't up to par. Seems they cook it on the same grill that they cook everything else on so it absorbs the flavor of other foods. The place could use a good remodeling but I won't hold that against them cause it's all about the food for me. Other than that everything else was good including the service. read more

Went for breakfast, and it was great. Love the serve yourself coffee bar with several coffee options, server was really friendly and attentive. We both ordered omelets, shrimp and spinach, and the chicken fajita with egg whites. Both were great, and got to the table within minutes. Looking forward to returning soon. read more

It has a vibrant and casual island decor with many hand painted beach murals. Seat yourself at one of the many tables. Breakfast on the weekends is busy, but table turn pretty quickly due to the prompt service. Speaking of service, the wait staff are both friendly and accurate as they deliver your requests. The help yourself coffee bar is filled with everything you need along with some very special and tasty brews. The menu is filled with many different creative breakfast and lunch options. Be warned...the portions are HUGE and delicious filled with the obvious fresh cut vegetables and fillings. Potatoes are freshly cut and fried! Three stars for the food. This morning I had an omlete with kielbasa, peppers and onions. Service was fair. However as to the coffee, 1.5 star as it was completely underwelming. Coffees offered this morning were a blend of "Central American and African" or just "Central America." Nothing to say specifically what regions of either continent and there were no distinguishing characteristics in either. For a shop that roasts it's own it tasted slightly old and almost musty. If I could rate this place a negative star I would. We got ourselves seated and placed our drink orders (water and juice). Then shortly after placed our food orders. About 15 to 20 min later the tables around us filled up. The tables around us soon after got their water and cappuccino drinks and we still had no water or juice. We had to flag down our waitress who said she forgot and finally brought our drinks. Then the ppl who were seated 20 min after us got their hash eggs and pancakes (same exact thing we ordered). We flagged down our waitress again and asked why they were served before us when we ordered 30 min before them and they got the same thing we did. She came back 5 min later and said they just now started our meal and it'd be 5 to 10 min longer. We left at this point. TERRIBLE service and I will never go again. I am a local and will be sure to tell all my friends to not visit either! read more

I went with my daughter for breakfast and it was really good food! Then I went back with my husband and it was alright. The atmosphere is unique and the help very friendly, but it takes a while to get them to you, or for them to get back to you. I still give them 4 stars, but don't be in a hurry if you go there. read more

My wife and I love the Perfect Cup. The food is reasonable and good. We have noticed that the service the key few months has been hit or miss and getting worse. We have run into some of the staff that is now working at other places and they said they loved the customers but the ownership is very hard to work for so there is not much consistency in Wait staff. Over all a good place for breakfast but they need to get there service issues resolved or it is going to start affecting the business read more

This a great breakfast place the food selection is top notch, with a bit of island flavor. You may have to wait depending on your arrival time. It is self seating, but the wait staff will help. The coffee is very good and reasonably priced for a bottomless cup. If you are in a hurry go early, as you may wait a bit. The wait staff is good,but busy.
