***Perfect Moving offered to pay $640 for not posting this review*** I moved from New York to Seattle in September 2021. I hired Perfect Moving for the long-distance move trusting its near-perfect reviews on Yelp and Google. That was a costly mistake. The sales call was everything you'd hope for. John Caricic promised an ideal move. Time and time again he said that the company would use double-blankets to protect my furniture, handle it with care, and follow all the COVID precautions. Instead, masks were optional, blankets were substituted with plastic and tape, my metal furniture had dents so deep as if the entire team was playing game 7 of Squid game. The overall damage far exceeded $5500: my Apple monitor was shattered, my dresser, bed frame, and two bookshelves were crashed, the metal coffee table had legs missing, three paintings were torn, trash can and metal file cabinet were disfigured. On the day of delivery, Perfect moving called me to extort extra $300 threatening to keep my furniture hostage. So, why was my experience different from everyone else's? Why everybody else gave Perfect Moving 5 stars? First, most of the reviews are fake and paid-for: just read them carefully. Perfect English, staged photos. Ask yourselves, will you have time in the middle of a move to take photos of your movers to write a glowing review to post later? Second, if the company damages your stuff and you want to get paid, you must remove all negative reviews, otherwise you get nothing. Their release form says: "Customer forever agrees it (2) has not previously (or has removed if posted online) and will not, at any time in the future, made or make any negative or disparaging statements about the Company". Perfect Moving is a classic online scam. They will extort your, they will damage your stuff, and if you ever want to get your problems resolved, you'll have to be silent so that they can scam the next customer trusting their "perfect" reviews. P.S. If your kids are not vaccinated, be aware that masks are de facto optional at Perfect Moving. Neither pick-up, nor delivery movers did wear them properly in September 2021. read more

My husband and I recently moved from a rental into our first purchased home. We got quotes from a number of movers and decided to go with Perfect Moving based on the reviews and because they charged a flat fee that was on par with the lower end of the other quotes. John was responsive to my emails and flexible when we had to push our move back multiple times due to delays with renovations to our new apartment. The move itself went smoothly. The three movers arrived within the time-frame quoted. They were friendly and efficient and weren't phased by the fact that I had some very unwieldy bumper plates and a barbell to move. They were also conscientious of the fact that our floors had recently been redone and made sure not to cause any damage to them with the boxes and dollies. Everything made it to us safely and in one piece. Overall, this was probably the easiest, least stressful move I've had. read more

The move went absolutely PERFECTLY! George and Lucas were extremely detailed, thorough, and FAST. They even went above and beyond and helped move a large water filter we had to move at the last minute. They made a makeshift box with padding to protect it and moved it to the new place. I was so thankful for them for this because I would have had to move this heavy water filter myself later in the week and they saved me so much time and labor (I am a small woman so it would have been very hard for me to do on my own). Nothing in the move was cracked, damaged, or mismanaged. They dealt with everything with such delicate care. To say that I was impressed truly is an understatement. I was so touched by their efforts and SKILL and on top of their professionalism both were so friendly and funny! They not only made the move easy but also fun! I will definitely be using Perfect Moving again and if possible requesting George and Lucas again--they made this moving experience probably the best moving experience I have ever had. We had an eventful move with Perfect Moving. A mixup on their end meant they came late (and only on our prompting) to pack our stuff. They underquoted us on the cost of the move. The movers left behind some small items at our old home. But ultimately, Perfect Moving provided some discounts that helped make up for all of this. And they were pleasant to deal with over the phone. But most importantly--and the reason this is still a positive review--is that the movers they sent over were excellent: very careful with our stuff (nothing broken!) and a pleasure to work with. I have some qualms with the office, but on the strength of their actual movers, I would recommend them. read more

Definitely had to leave a great review for Bosko and Andrew with Perfect Moving after they helped me and my fiance move 2 bedroom's worth of stuff from Brooklyn to NJ. They were punctual, packed incredibly quickly despite working in a small duplex apartment, and were also super nice and careful with our belongings. Damyan who helped schedule the move was very responsive as well even though we'd booked pretty close to the move date. After using other companies like Oz, Sweet Lou, and Piece of Cake, can definitely say this experience was the right combination of: care towards our items, price for the van space and distance moved, and professional/friendly movers. We executed a big 2 bedroom to 3 bedroom move in NYC and were thrilled how smoothly it all went. The team came in the night before and helped with the majority of the tough packing. Then finished in the morning before the 9am threshold to start using the freight elevators. They easily dealt with unplanned items such as our 8 foot fiddle leaf tree. Perhaps the best moving experience I've ever had - and that's after moving about 10 times in the last 15 years! I submitted a quote here on Yelp and Tasko and Peter reached out to me with a quote. While I was packing, my inventory shifted a bit but they were very accommodating - and my price didn't go up much (about $75). Even on the day before the move, I added a couple of things and they didn't charge me extra for it. On the day of the move, I received a message from Bob 30 minutes before they arrived at my door. They arrived exactly when I expecting them - very punctual. They were very quick in loading all my things even though there was a lot of snow on the ground and Bob checked in a couple of times to make sure that I was happy with how things were being packed/carried etc. At my new apartment, they were very careful with not scuffing the walls of the building, carrying things up. They finished quickly and even aked me if I needed help with anything, going above and beyond what was required. I really appreciated that! This is a fantastic moving company! Tasko answered the phone, he was cordial and friendly and gave me the info I needed, about time, cost, dates and volume. When the moving day came the movers showed up, and in 1 1/2 hours everything was gone out of the storage room in New York City. They had given me a two day arrival window and arrived in the morning of the second day. The team exceeded my expectations! They were highly professional, knowledgeable and experienced moving grand pianos. they did a great job protecting it with wraps and blankets and managed to deliver without any scratches, despite all kinds of difficulties, having to carry it on steps, in tight elevators and under stormy conditions. My experience communicating with the point person, Alexandra, before the move was excellent. She was helpful, calm, and informed. I was a bit dismayed that the estimate she'd given didn't end up matching what I paid, but that's due to my having added a bunch more stuff to the first guesstimate I'd given her as to how much stuff we had to move. The movers were very fast and efficient, and other than 2 unattached light bulbs breaking they handled everything well. They did up a full hour early, which for some people is awesome; for me it wasn't great, but it's much better than being late. I would say, if you're looking for strong fast people to move things in and out (but not for the additional step of moving you "in" to your place, simply to leave boxes in rooms), they're a good crew. read more

The movers were quick and efficient. They wrapped everything so neatly and took care of it all including the trash. This was my first time using a moving service and at every step of the process, Perfect Moving was prompt, courteous and accurate. My quote was also $400 less than all other big NYC-area movers who I had inquired with - I worried that there would be hidden fees down the road, but to my pleasant surprise, pricing was as transparent and accurate as I'd hoped. I also needed a COI for my new building, which the team sent over with plenty of time before my move. On the day-of, John from Truck 12 texted me first thing in the morning to let me know they'd be arriving at 12:45 pm. Much to my surprise, the crew arrived at 12:45 *on the dot*. They moved all of my belongings out of a third-story walkup in under an hour! Incredibly professional, communicative and strong team members. Perfect Moving delivered the perfect move! They far exceeded our expectations. Three respectful, young, hard working guys from eastern Europe in Truck 12 got our one bedroom apartment completely moved out in half an hour, and that was from the third floor, without an elevator. Parking on the other end was tough, but they figured it out, and got us moved in within about 45 minutes, including the parking issue. The whole process, cross-town, start to finish, took no more than a couple of hours. Communication was excellent all along. Everything was clear up front. They answered all my calls and questions. They called me first thing in the morning with an arrival time, and actually showed up when they said they would. They treated our stuff with utmost care. No loss or damage. The price was very reasonable, and there were no unexpected up-charges. What more could we expect? Well done, Perfect Moving team! Vanja and his team did an amazing job. I was relocating from my small walk-up apartment to a larger highrise and his team did a phenomenal job. They made the process seamless. I spoke with Almas originally where I got the quote and COI. Fast forward 1 month and moving day smoothly. They were personable, professional, and most of all speedy! They also provided large wardrobe boxes complimentary for the move which was amazing. One small note would be to read the confirmation email closely to ensure you have the correct date/time. Nick and the team provided amazing service when delivering to my new place. Even after a mishap with the management office when they wouldn't let the truck into the apartment because of a mis-booking, they were very calm and understanding that I felt even worse about the whole ordeal ( was able to work things out) even after the set back of my building management asking them to drive around said building to a gate on the other side, the movers were very composed and it put me at ease. After unloading, they were extremely efficient, hardly any downtime and we're on the fast side of setting all my things up. After my setting up my bed, there was an issue (as it was brand new in the box) two of the sides were the same, but Nick was able to drill new holes into the frame and alternate something's to make it work. Perfect Moving lives up to its name. If you are wondering if you should hire this company to help with your move, DO IT. After signing the lease on our new apartment, we reached out to Perfect Moving, Piece of Cake Moving, and Roadway Moving for a quote. These were all well-reviewed companies that we knew we would be selecting from. Based off of the quote, Perfect Moving was the most competitive price so we chose to move forward with them. Tasko was incredibly helpful in getting everything set up. He was so kind and patient and provided a level of customer service I don't think I've EVER experienced in NYC. Whenever I would follow up via email with a question, he was always kind and quick to respond. Leading up to the move I was very stressed, as we were moving out of a 6th/5th floor walk-up (duplex) and we had a lot of large and heavy furniture. This was our first time hiring movers and I was concerned the stairs would prove to be a challenge. Tasko was great when I shared my concern to him about the challenge of the stairs and said this would be no problem for the team. We had the team scheduled to arrive at 8AM the morning of the move. Around 7:45, they called to let me know they were on their way and would be there around 8. They arrived a few minutes early, made note of the space and immediately got to work. Masks were worn the whole time to adhere to COVID safety requirements. I was so appreciative that I didn't even have to ask about this. By 10:15, the entire 1-bedroom apartment was emptied out. This was UNBELIEVABLE to me, as I'd fully expected it would take a good 3-4 hours to disassemble and move all of the furniture and boxes down those stairs. Words cannot begin to describe how impressed I was. We arrived at our new building, which fortunately had an elevator. However, there had been a hiccup the morning of our move with the new building's elevator, so only one elevator was available to use which unfortunately had a smaller doorway (again, we had a lot of large furniture). The team handled this with no problem. All of our boxes and furniture were in our new apartment and reassembled by 11:30AM and there was no damage to any of our items. I had fully expected this move to take a minimum of 6 hours and they finished everything in less than 4. Wow. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the team's hard work and professionalism. I will be telling every person I know about Perfect Moving and how they made what should usually be a stressful day feel like an absolute breeze. read more

I was so pleased with my "Perfect Moving" experience. The two guys that came were punctual, considerate and efficient. I so appreciated their "can-do" attitude and work ethos. Nothing daunted them. They packed the van like Tetris champs and were patient and quick unloading too. Not one thing broke and no dings and smudges on the walls. We were really impressed, especially for the price. Perfect Moving made my move the worst experience I have ever had. Do NOT book these movers, especially when you have so many other better options in the city!! They will nickel and dime you for every penny they possibly can. They tried to charge me an extra $700 the day of my move. They are scammers who pry on vulnerable people on the day of a stressful move just to get more money in their pocket. My friend had a similar experience of being charged more than what was quoted the day of the move and was asked to remove her bad review online. Wish we compared notes beforehand. The movers were unprofessional, slow, and recorded in my home without my consent. 8 1/2 hours to move a few blocks away in the same neighborhood from 1 bedroom apartment to another 1 bedroom.
