So where do I start. I have messed up eyebrow with no arch and it's very uneven and thin (Part of being Asian). It took me over 3 months to look for a perfectionist to do my eyebrows. No kidding , I've look in Philadelphia, Bethesda, and NYC for someone whose reviews were top notch and trust worthy. Finally I stumbled upon Recy. Her prices are far reasonable and her artwork is very real-life. The prices ranges from $425-$750 depending on the style you like. I chose 4d combo with powder. The process starts with Recy showing me her past clients and before and after pictures. Once you agree with what you want Recy will first draw it on your eyebrows and you will notice the difference. It is way better than drawing your eyebrows every morning and I suck at that. Then you can chose the color and she will give you suggestions and give you her opinion. Of course the procedure is painless because she numbs you. But word of advice after the procedure, the numbing cream goes away and you will feel pain, but that pain is like the feeling when you get scratches from your pet( that's how it felt to me but everyone is different). Day one -my eyebrow looks good but day 2-5 it got very dark and I was like no what have I done ( also day2-5 please put on bacitracin ointment that can be found at like target or Walmart), but day 6-14 the scabs started falling off to show the true color and I fell in love. Eyebrows changes your appearance and I have people come up to me and say my eyebrows look nice and when I tell them it's microblading they don't believe me because it looks natural and real not like tattoo. I now have fuller, thicker and filled eyebrows with slight arch. After that process of scabs falling off(I was bad because I kinda pulled it off and it did came off easily on day 5-7) you wait 30 days to do touch up if you feel like you need it but I went to Recy and she inform me I don't need a touch up. I did not know why I waited forever to get it done, but if you ladies and gentlemen need to get your eyebrows done or tired or drawing or sucks at doing your eyebrows then Recy can do that for you. When getting something done that is semi permanent ask for pictures of their clients with before and after and ask them to draw it on you first before going through the process. But just go to Recy because she is very good at it. However, I caution you to book her very early . It took me over 2 months to get an appointment so do not hesitate. I don't do reviews for any one but I do it this time because Recy saves me from doing my eyebrows and she gave me a new look. I can't wait to do another session with her because I know I'll be in good hands in the future since microblading lasts 1-3 years depending on each person. I am so grateful for Recy Wang and Perfection Permanent Make-Up. I have alopecia areata and suffer from patchy hair loss all over my body. My head is almost completely bald and my eyebrows decided to recently take their turn. It was exhausting spending 15-20 minutes every morning drawing them on and also having to touch them up during the day. I started researching eyebrow tattoos and artists in the area. I took to yelp for reviews because they're usually pretty good. I found Perfection Permanent Make Up on Yelp with great reviews. I met with Recy for the first time in February 2018 and was scheduled for March of 2018, but I had to cancel. Recy was warm and understanding about my alopecia and said with confidence as I was leaving the consult "You will have eyebrows!" This made me cry of course because of my struggle. I was concerned that I might react to the ink so Recy said we will do a patch test. I rescheduled the week before Mother's Day when my family gave me the money to have them done as a Mothers Day gift and did my patch test a couple of days before the full procedure. The patch test was fine and the full procedure was a go! The procedure itself was fine. It was painful at times, but not the entire time. Recy used numbing cream which helped a lot. The entire procedure was about an hour and forty five minutes. I chose the 4D brows which meant I had pen strokes and powder to make my tattooed eyebrows look more realistic. Recy took her time and drew on sample eyebrows. She even suggested I FaceTime my daughters to get their opinions of the drawn on brows before she went ahead with the full procedure. I left with aftercare instructions and followed them to a tee. I used goggles in the shower (Recy's suggestion) so I wouldn't get the tattooed brows wet. I was progressing fairly well, but I noticed oozing on day 4 and it was worse by day 5. I sent Recy pictures and she told me to go to my doctor right away. I did and told the doctor I thought I was allergic to the bacitracin antibiotic ointment. She agreed because the patch test was fine. I stopped using it and the eyebrows healed up and scaled over as the directions said they would. By my one month visit they were beautiful!!! I did NOT even need a touch up despite the bacitracin allergy. If you're looking for someone who is personable and knows what she's doing I highly recommend Recy. I had the most incredible experience getting microblading done here! I am very satisfied with how my brows turned out, and that's saying a lot - since I get very nitpicky with how I like to fill them in. Moreover, I was impressed at how professional yet warm the whole process was, starting with the initial discussion all the way through the actual procedure. My technician, Penny, did an absolutely wonderful job with my brows. She was extremely attentive, caring, and friendly throughout the whole process. Before the procedure began, I also had a thorough consultation with Recy, who walked me through various options to customize and shape my brows. Recy also stopped in a few times to offer additional suggestions, and I was impressed at how detailed and nuanced they were. Both her and Penny were just as invested, if not more, as I was in how my brows would look -- from shape, to color, to overall design. My brows have started to lighten (after the first 7-14 days), and the color looks so natural. This was my biggest concern, and I'm happy to report that it's turned out extremely well: a shade lighter than my dark brown hair, which is what I prefer. AWESOME!!! I am ecstatic about my eyebrows by Recy who is a genius. She is a meticulous perfectionist and consummate professional. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed to undergo chemotherapy. Of course, I was worried about potential hair loss especially my eyebrows and eyelashes. As a result, I did extensive research on permanent makeup and selected Perfection Permanent Makeup after reading reviews and viewing client photos. My initial consult with Recy consisted of a color skin test, a detailed medical history, clearance from my treating physician along with giving me a procedural overview. Recy patiently answered all of my questions. I came in the following week for the procedure. Recy put me at ease and gave me numbing crème before the first round which took about 20 minutes. Additional numbing crème was applied for the second round which was not painful. I was so amazed by the transformation of my face with the new eyebrows. They were absolutely beautiful and I received numerous complements including family, friends, and even my plastic surgeon. I finally did it! I've been thinking and researching and reading reviews so I finally had Recy give me eyebrows. As we age we start to loose our eyebrows, some say it's hormones. I wasn't very good at doing them myself and it was a given if I did get them perfect I would rub them or scratch and then look like a clown all day. Well let me tell you about Recy.... she is EVERYTHING everyone else has said and more. She is truly an amazing artist and a perfectionist. She made sure I was at ease and positive I wanted to do this. I mean it's my face and this is as permanent as I'll get at my age. I was thrilled after she just drew them on but it got so much better! She lets you see what she's done after each step. I will say I got a little freaked when they swelled a little and got so dark. Remember Groucho Marks, that's what I thought I looked like but every where I went (right after I had it done) I got compliments. Just a drastic change for me. I have white hair and I never did have great eyebrows. But now I do now thanks to Recy. I just have to be patient and let the healing begin. If you really want to do this then make an appointment, it might take a while to see her but it is so worth it. This is my birthday gift to myself and I'm so worth it just like Recy. Just got back from my touch-up appointment with Penny--and she did an amazing job as usual. If you're looking for great brows, at a more affordable price point, this is the place! My eyebrows have been a point of insecurity/inconvenience for a while, but now it feels like a weight has been lifted. Penny is an absolute professional--she really takes her time in making sure your brows complement your facial structure. I also appreciated how she asked the master technician for a second opinion when we weren't sure how to complement my very flexible eyebrow muscle haha. Seriously! It showed that her priority was making sure I looked great. Other pros when working with Penny-- - Her work is at a more affordable price point. (Penny has considerably less experience than Recy, but she has been trained well!) - She's very kind and has always made me feel safe and comfortable. I am so glad I stumbled upon Recy and her business on Yelp. I've been researching microblading since at least June but never found someone I was totally comfortable with their work. However, one night while on the internet I found Recy and visited the following day. Although she had a client, she was willing to speak with me about her services offered and experience. She even allowed me to see a customer's brows she was in the process of doing when I visited. I was able to view alot of before and after photographs and was pleased with what I saw that I booked on the spot. I'm very picky about my brows and did a good job of filling in but was getting tired of doing so every morning. On the day of the procedure Recy advised me of everything that would take place and selected, based on her application of makep, the eyebrow shape that best suited my face. Although I'm on day 5 of the healing process and right now my brows may not appear as they were when first conducted, i am positive that they will turn out as discussed. I went to see Recy almost a month ago with a friend who was getting her eyebrows done. I stayed for the whole treatment to see what it entails and what the outcome would be like. When I saw the end results I booked my appoiment for the very next day. I have very thin eyebrows and my hair takes forever to grow, I got tired of drawing them on everyday just to leave the house. After my wonderful visit to Recy I no longer have to that. I look at my face and think WOW I have eyebrows. Recy is great at her craft. I would and have already recommended her to some of my friends/co-workers. She is very precise and takes her time to give you the desired look that you are going for. She is very professional and has a wonderful bedside manner which contributes to making you feel at ease while she performs her magic on you. I got my eyebrows microbladed here a few weeks ago and waited until they were healed to post this review. And they look amazing! I will admit when I first left the salon, I was worried they were too dark, but Penny assured me that they would lighten up, and she was right! So if you're in the first couple of days of healing, don't stress like I did--they will get lighter and thinner over the next week or so. Penny suggested we go a shade darker than the original color we chose and I trusted her expertise. Now I'm glad we did because they are perfect! The space was clean and beautiful, and Penny was very sweet and patient throughout the whole process. I appreciated the soothing music in the background. I'm likely going to return for a touch up because I have one spot I accidentally scratched the day after the microblading where the color came off. But otherwise, the shape and color are excellent -- natural and flattering. I did the feather touch for $475 plus tip. This is my first time at PPM. I am not usually one to leave reviews online (this is my first one on Yelp even) but the service was so great I had to leave one. I went in dec 2020 to get my eyebrows microbladed by Penny. As a newbie to permanent makeup (or even makeup) i was nervous about getting this done but it turned out to be a great experience. Pros - Clean and beautiful environment keeps you very relaxed - Penny did a wonderful job listening and being patient and allowing me to phone/facetime friends for second opinions. - Turned out great on the first try. I was set to travel out of the country and was very worried that i'd be cutting it close with second touch up since everywhere I looked online said you had to have one. I didn't have to do any touch up! It has been 28 days and I love the way they look healed! Con - Just a bit more expensive than I would have liked but honestly it think it was worth it. Tip: This can take up to four hours depending on what is happening and therefore plan accordingly. read more

First, if you want to do this, get an appointment now as she books up fast! I was lucky enough to get my appointment after calling a week before, but that is not a usual thing! Both Recy and her coworker were very professional the entire time, from on the phone, to in person. The office itself is very clean and has a pleasant ambiance. Recy explains the whole procedure prior to making any strokes, and discusses the different options with you. She also draws on the entire shape first to see if you like it before doing the semi-permanent procedure and shows you different colors. Not every place does this, and it's a very nice touch! The actual procedure was painless and quick and throughout the procedure she handed me a mirror so I could see. She makes sure that you are loving your new eyebrows! I am so glad that I went to her.
