After contacting four local repair shops, and reading yelp and google reviews, we took our 1998 Camry here to have an oil pump seal leak repaired. After Stormy located the problem, he explained the importance of replacing several other parts while the timing cover was removed. We decided to go with that option and had the timing belt, tensioner, crankshaft seal, water pump, and accessory belts replaced, because we had 207,000 miles on the car. The timing belt and accessory belts were changed 8 years ago, however, the crank seal and water pump had never been replaced in 20 years. Since we will be passing this car on to our grandson, the small extra cost was worth the peace of mind. Excellent work at a decent price and honest, friendly people. I brought in my broken jeep to Stormy a few weeks ago and the end price stayed at the low end of the estimate. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else. Stormy even pointed out a problem on my jeep that was unrelated to his repair and recommended a 4wd specialist, which will save money on a larger repair later. It's a nice feeling to leave a shop confident that the repairs were done right and that you didn't get taken. One of the best shops I've dealt with. In town visiting my boyfriend and his car broke down... Googled shops in the area. They had great reviews so he took it here hoping for the best. Within a few hours they had it fixed and out the door! Labor wasn't nearly as bad as almost any place I've went to. I was actually surprised at how cheap it was considering the parts he needed replaced were a bit pricey. Super nice. Super friendly. Would definitely recommend them! Stormy is an excellent mechanic who really knows his stuff and will get you a great price on any parts or repairs you need. For example, I recently took my tacoma in for an oil change and at the time my tires were low on tread. Stormy found a set of practically new tires for me and it only cost $75 per tire. I was amazed because i was expecting to spend over $500 on new tires and ended up only spending 300 for a full set! Read all the review here people even the hidden or removed. people don't waist their time writing good reviews, they write bad reviews when ripped off or wronged. They all say Stormy is a nice guy. Yes stormy is a nice guy. The problem here the mechanics don't do thorough work. The mechanics leave bolts lose so they fall out and they do not make sure all the hoses are firmly plugged in. If you must use this shop double check that all bolts, screws and hoses are tightly plugged in. read more
