Via text we set up an appointment, and he was not only on time but also courteous. He texted me his timing twice before he arrived to make sure I knew what his arrival would be. He assessed the job thoroughly, even getting on the ground to feel and smell certain areas that were slightly more heavily stained. He then pre-treated difficult areas and proceeded to power wash the job as promised in the time as estimated. He was punctual, courteous, and polite throughout the process. I couldn't have asked for a better worker. Three days later the stains are still visibly absent. The carpet is now completely dried and I couldn't have been happier with the entire process. I would not hesitate to call this company again for any job, big or small. They will definitely beat anyone's price and I think their abundance of five-star reviews proves they know what they are doing and deliver on promises.

In related news, I later found out that asking adding a surcharge for debit transactions is actually illegal per U.S. Federal law. Good to know. (https://usa.visa.com/dam/VCOM/download/merchants/surcharging-faq-by-merchants.pdf) You might bring this up when they attempt to do charge you for a debit card, which my agent did. They can charge up to 3% for credit cards. Nevertheless, the good folks are the office were very nice about reversing the double-charge. I am waiting to see when it comes through. Pro's - Basic work seemed to be done well and at a price that was competitive with others I contacted at least for the basic service. - Communication was prompt. - After some re-scheduling on their part, the team did the work swiftly and efficiently. - Most of the terms were clear in advance, using Yelp Projects. Con's - This is a fairly shiesty corner of the home maintenance world. Many providers seem to give you a low-ball estimate to get in the door and then upsell significantly. - Envirosmart is not an exception. - The initial quote was $200. This included scoping the ducts and doing the negative pressure clean-out. - Onsite, they then upsold me to $670 for a more thorough brushing of the vents, sanitation, and some other ancillary services. - They were only modestly well-organized. They called the day-of to reschedule because of a conflict with internal training. They also confirmed a different time than I had originally scheduled. It was the difference of a 9 to 11am original window and a 2:30-3pm arrival. - The Yelp Project communication could have been clearer. They did not specify whether they were calling to quote me or coming to do the service! Amid all this and with some clarification and flexibility on our part, we worked it out. I would have appreciated either a discount or additional service for the delay. None was proffered. I did not go ahead with the upsell as I had already gotten quotes for less from other providers with somewhat more transparent pricing. I think the work they did appeared fine. See attached pics. Your guess is as good as mine which are before and which are after! They did not specify when they sent them to me and email took off the timestamp. I'm hoping the cleaner ones. I probably will try another service when I do this again and with a higher rated provider. All in all, though, I had low expectations and those low expectations were met.

I opted for the deep cleaning option and got lucky because they had availability within a week. Chris came by today and did an excellent job. They were running a few minutes late but informed me at the start of the arrival window. They were very respectful of our home and wore booties throughout. The service itself was very comprehensive and took over 2 hours. No upsells/subscriptions. After they were done, everything was cleaned up perfectly. My vents are now clear! After a few bouts of leaking from the exhaust fan, I called Ventflow. Following a quick five-minute phone call and the exchange of a handful of images from my attic and bathroom, we had a plan of attack and an appointment scheduled. The team showed up perfectly on time, removed the offending, soaking-wet fans and ducting, and even checked the roof to clear out insulation that didn't belong there. They were punctual, communicated clearly, cleaned up thoroughly, didn't mind my dog barking at them, and explained everything they were doing. They also gave me some great advice on other DIY things I can do to keep the ducts and house in good shape. The price was exactly what I was quoted (even though one of the installs was a bit more complicated than it should have been), and they spent extra time cleaning up insulation that had fallen out of the attic. I 100% recommend Ventflow and would absolutely use them again if anything came up.

I counted one, the black silk shirt that was actually dry cleaned, the rest smelled different. My main issue, my blue silk shirt came back rough to the touch, wrinkled or creased all over, and felt like sand paper. They washed it in water then pressed it with starch. Ruined the item. I just paid $30 for it off eBay so wanted it cleaned, it was perfectly fine but to be sure I wanted it cleansed before wearing. For these prices it should have came back meticulous. Alas it wasn't. I give one star because the guy was nice enough. Buyer beware.

The person who showed up was not with sound pest but was with Fikes. He spent all of 5 mins walking through my house and sprayed an aerosol can that costs I believe $29.99. He did not spray in under or around anything. This was also not the description of service that was provided to me through yelp. I called to complain immediately after. I have also called to talk to a Manager multiple times. They always state they will call me back and never do. It might have been a great company before it was sold but do not let the historical positive reviews fool you this is not under the same management as before. Go somewhere else for service.
