First, let me talk about the service. 5 stars every time. Everyone here is always so friendly. It's awesome! Even when I call in orders, they're so friendly on the phone. So many rude people in customer service positions these days, but definitely not here! Have only eaten inside the restaurant once. I had a turkey club. Wasn't anything spectacular, but it was piled high and really hit the spot. It was also a good price. Can't complain about that. Especially when it's late at night and dining options are extremely limited. My husband had a skillet meal. Don't recall the name, but he loved it. I did post a picture of it, so hope that helps. =) We mostly get whole pies from here. Again, great price. All we have tried are delicious. So easy to pick up and take to a potluck, dinner at a friend's, or a holiday event. My favorite is the strawberry. The French Silk pie is what dreams are made of. But don't sleep on that coconut cream pie though, for real!

It had been awhile since I've been to Perkins and a coupon for a free birthday "Magnificent Seven" breakfast brought me back in. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was fabulous. She was kind and kept our drinks full on a super hot day. Our food was tasty however it came out warm at best. The building is also in need of renovations. The ceiling tiles have mold on them and the air conditioning vents have rusted due to condensation. However, the restaurant is clean & has nice air conditioning.

Runny eggs when I asked for well done.

Worse service ever. My eggs were not cooked correctly at all! I asked for well done! I cannot eat runny yolk, they were not cooked right it was still runny I told them about it and they came back with the eggs even less cooked because the lady I told didn't even let me finish my sentence. the service all the way was just terrible I've had Perkins for years and I've never experienced anything like this. My first and LAST time going to this one.

    Grilled cheese w/ tomato

Like everything usually at this location (Altamonte) except customer service has gone downhill over last 1-2 yrs. No one up front to seat you a lot, you have to hunt someone down or a server ends up looking for Mgr.?! Mgrs have changed often last 2 yrs since the great one that was there for a LONG time and retired to start his own business. The grilled cheese sandwich is a JOKE ( how do you mess up a grilled cheese?) One thin slice of cheese between to pieces of reg bread, rediculous! Here's pic w/ tomato I added. I should have sent it back. Otherwise their menu offers nice selection including 55 over.

The service is always pleasant and helpful. The food is plentiful and flavorful. The low lighting makes it very enjoyable for dinner.

Just recently build is this little tiny building right by the gas station with this Spanish cafe and an Ice cream shop. Even though the place is tiny and parking is hard because it is in a small gas station the lady (owner) is pretty friendly and the place is kept clean and looks good with paintings and the color of choice inside. The food is made fresh and can take a while so best thing is to call ahead even though this place does not seem busy at all sense it is brand new, the food is pricey and an Arepa witch is what I had cost $5.00 buck even though it's a bit bigger then normal Arepas and you can choose what you want inside ( meat, pork, cheese etc. ) the price is kind of high for a Arepa I also had Malta ( Spanish drink made with barley malt) and all together I spent 7 bucks for a meal that did not come close to making me full. By the name you can tell they also have a bakery inside and even with a tiny place I don't know how this lady does it but she makes cakes, cookies, muffins and other Spanish pastries and they all look goof but are probably overpriced like the rest of the things on this menu, I also over paid for the Malta so I am willing to give this place a chance next time but just to try the pastries and not the food because of the price I gave it only three stars and also due to

However, they always have fun creations popping up in their case. Some fan favorites are the Mango Sticky Rice Tart and literally any of their pop tarts. The staff is kind and efficient. There's usually a line out the door. However, we never wait longer than 15 minutes to get the goods. The space is definitely small on the customer end inside. However, they have plenty of outdoor seating that's perfect for hanging out with friends on a Sunday morning. Literally one of my favorite spots. Thank you Buttermilk for being THAT girl.

I have been a Buttermilk Bakery fan for well over a decade. Until this last weekend…read more I got online at 8:15 in the morning to place my order. Each item that I selected came up with a message that read, "Our store is not currently accepting orders." I tried again a few minutes later. Then again. And again. And again. I tried to call and received a voicemail that stated a different number. At 8:50am, the option to order seemed to be back up and running. I ordered five items, including the Roasted Tomatoes & Goat Cheese Quiche. For context: I live 45 minutes away from Buttermilk Bakery. It used to be on my way to work but, as of a few years ago, that is not the case anymore. So, it is now a special occasion destination. Reserved only for weekends when I can make the trip. More context: I have been raving to one of my closet friends for years about how much I love this place. My most emphatic musings have been about the quiche. Today, since she and I were planning an afternoon poolside, I thought that I would surprise her with an assortment of Viennoiserie and other items. At 10:36am, I received a call from Buttermilk. The woman on the phone informed me that they had run out of the quiche. How?!? Once the website was working, I was able to place my order quickly and the item didn't even read, "Low stock." I know that this is a small problem in a world full of large problems, but the thing that really set me off is that when I arrived at the store, the person in line in front of me asked for the Strawberry Buttermilk Pie. He was told that they were out of stock. He was pleasant in stating that there appeared to be slices in the refrigerator case. The girl behind the register told him that they were being held for online orders. When it was my turn, I stated that no one had held my slice of quiche. She blandly said, "I am sorry," and proceeded. I then stated that I was unhappy and had driven some distance. She asked if I would like something else. I responded that the person on the phone had simply told me that I would receive a refund. I then asked for the girl to check on my refund. She said it was not processed yet. So, I said that I would wait. She needed to ask for help to process the refund. She wasn't nasty to me, but she did not care one iota. My effort and subsequent inconvenience meant nothing. I wonder if my refund would even have been processed had I not asked. My friend and I thought the pastries that we received were fine, but she is fitness-minded and was hesitant to indulge in so many carbs without the rich protein that the quiche would have provided. And, yet, more context: This happened once before. With the quiche. Maybe a year ago. Though, that time, I believe it was a butternut squash quiche. My husband needed to be in the area, so he suggested that he pick-up at Buttermilk. When he arrived, he was told that there would be no quiche. No call. No nothing. He didn't think to ask for a refund and we never received one. That time, I simply thought, "Well, accidents happen." This time, I think that I received very shoddy service. I felt very disrespected. I felt unseen. I have loved this place, but I am so disappointed.

The food was just as good as I remembered from a few years ago. It can be difficult to find consistency in restaurants these days, so I really appreciate that the quality hasn't changed. It's nice to have a spot like Sourdough to add variety to the rotation of mostly American breakfast spots. I ordered the Sourdough Bread Plate, which is a large portion. Even though it's listed on the lunch menu, I was still able to order it for breakfast. Their bread is incredible, and everything tasted so fresh! The ezme is a wonderful addition to add to the avocado and labneh toasts. I also tried the Turkish coffee, but as someone who doesn't drink black coffee, it wasn't quite for me. I would recommend it mainly to those who enjoy strong, black coffee, though it was a nice touch that it came with a Turkish delight! My only minor critique is that the staff weren't around very much. Our server checked in on us once, and after waiting a bit for someone to bring the check, we eventually just walked up to the counter to pay. Nonetheless, everyone was very friendly!

The turkish coffee was also strong for how small the cup was, with a little turkish delight to take the edge off. The bacon was beef, which was nice. Overall, the food was delicious. However, the service wasn't the best, there was about 3 customers in the restaurant when I went, but the server left all of us when we had to pay, leaving all of us to stand in a line waiting to pay. For a weekday, that felt a little odd. I think the food definitely makes up for it.
