One of our favorite brunch spots in the area. My favorite is the blueberry stuffed French toast, a side of home fries and an orange or cranberry juice to drink. But this family-owned chain with locations all throughout Orlando serves the best brunch with the freshest ingredients and a most courteous and friendly staff. The only downside is that they are so busy during the holidays and weekends, you may have to wait 30+ minutes for a table. But the turn-over here is pretty quick and well-worth the wait! read more

We got greeted and seated quickly. As we sat down Ana said she was helping out and gave us our menus and asked us what we would like to drink. Rushed off and got the drinks. Then she took our breakfast orders. She came by to check on our drinks and mentioned our food would be out shortly. She refilled my water. The food came out and they brought my daughter the wrong sauce that she did not request. The waiter took it back and said he'd be back with the correct sauce. A different person came out bringing the same wrong sauce again. My daughter explained which sauce he was supposed to get. Ana came by and asked us if my daughter got her sauce just as he came back with the correct sauce. Our food was delicious. I got the scrambler bowl with a side of grilled ham the scramble had more than enough ingredients that I requested. I even shared some with my daughter! The ham was great and a nice size. The rye toast was delicious as well. My daughter got a breakfast wrap with feta cheese and with the sauce enjoyed it so much, she beat me eating breakfast! Ana came back by before my daughter was done and wanted to refill my drink but I told her I was ok. She asked how the food was and we said great. When I couldn't finish all my meal, she brought us a takeout container and I put what I didn't eat in it. She also brought me a to go drink which I really appreciated and a bag. We usually have to ask for a bag. Not this time! Ana did a great job. We were quite comfortable when we sat down and it was quiet enough you could talk to each other. Came after work for breakfast with my co workers. We were seated immediately since we were the first dinners. Keke's offers the basic breakfast menu that we all know. I got the silver dollar pancakes and a side of bacon. Unfortunately I did find a hair or string in my butter. Of course I told the waitress and they had inspected it and told me it was a string from their apron and not a hair.... that's weird.... They did make me a new set of silver dollar pancakes and I opt not to use the butter. Didn't get anything off my bill. The bacon was good as it should be. Keke's Breakfast Cafe is part of a growing trend in the last decade or so of a place to grab breakfast in an elevated surrounding than your usual greasy spoon diner. Once upon a time, it seemed that greasy spoon diners or luncheonettes were pretty much the only option if you wanted to go grab breakfast. Now with places like Keke's Breakfast Cafe and First Watch, you have better options if you are seeking to eat out for the first meal of the day (and what I was told since grade school was the most important meal of the day). Keke's Breakfast Cafe is a hometown creation, having started here in Orlando, Florida back in 2006 by brothers Keith and Kevin Mahen. Back then it had the more straightforward name of the Florida Waffle Shop. This location was on Conroy Road and when the brothers started eying the horizon of expansion, they went with the name Keke's (which was a combination of both of their names) both because the name was perceived as more catchy and also because they could not obtain a trademark for the business name Florida Waffle Shop. From that humble beginning of one location, Keke's has grown to over forty locations here in Florida. The reason they have not expanded beyond the Sunshine State yet is that they have not saturated the market yet. The menu at Keke's Breakfast Cafe is filled with the usual breakfast favorites like waffles, omelets, eggs benedict and more. They also have a lunch menu, but I have only tried their breakfast offerings. All in all, my breakfast here was an overall winner. The food was very good, the ambiance was a great alternative to the standard greasy spoon breakfast joint with cheap chairs and chipped tables and my server was friendly, attentive and professional. We were recommended to try Keke's since we desperately wanted some good ol' American pancakes but the calories seemed SO high we went with waffles instead (likely the pancakes are BIG). Yummy! We've lived in the area for a long time we tried to go once before but it was the weekend and they were really crowded with an hour away so we finally made it back! I'm glad we did I had heard about Belgian waffles but never had one so I decided to try one it was fabulous. I did get the blueberry compost which is very sweet on the side. I also had the combo that came with two eggs and bacon in that bacon could not have been any better! Hubby had the same thing but with pancakes. Hello everyone, we went there at 11am on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 for breakfast. It was so good. My boyfriend ordered the iced coffee and water as his beverage. I had the water and hot coffee as my beverage. I had a French toast combo with eggs and bacon on the side. The French toast was absolutely delicious. Kylie was our server and she was so sweet plus helpful. My boyfriend had the three egg combo with turkey sausage and the English muffin. Overall, we had a great experience. Came here about 1030. I should have known to turn around when I didn't smell a thing. Greeted immediately and place was pretty empty with exception of about three or four other patrons. Server was super sweet. Took my order and food came out in five minutes. Food was cold. It tastes old. Manager came and apologized and offered to remake, I declined. I asked her to charge me something so I could tip with my card. Left server a tip, not her fault the kitchen operates as such. Based on the long wait time when we visited, we saw this was a popular place and figured it must be good. However, most of our experience didn't line up with that expectation. We asked for bacon to be made crispy and well-cooked, but this instruction was completely ignored; it came out rubbery. Another menu item was supposed to include 3 fillings, but it came with only 2. (Once we pointed this out, the missing ingredient was provided separately on the side -- uncooked.) The eggs lacked flavor and need hot sauce to give them any. I would like to say it's probably my fault for not checking but when a server serve you, normally they make suggestions as to what's available in combos or platters. When my buddy and I ordered, the waiter ordered everything ala cart. So in other words he ordered everything as a side. Our bill came out to be over $60 for two at breakfast. I think it is my fault for not checking how he ordered but also I know the deal when someone is working for tips. Keke's is my favorite place for waffles. Luckily this one is close to home so it makes it easy to go early in the morning. Went this morning with my fiancé and the service as well as the food was great. For a Saturday morning, we got seated right away, our server approached our table immediately, and the service was incredibly fast. We were in and out within 45 minutes, which was great because it saved us time on all the errands we had to run. I made my own combo, which I usually do. I got the chocolate chip waffle with bacon and home fries. My fiancé also made his own combo and got a chocolate chip and pecan waffle, sausage links, and eggs. We both loved the food, as always. The only thing I'm not extremely crazy about is the home fries, but still good. The pricing is also hard to beat. I usually go to the Fairbanks location but will definitely be coming to this location more often. read more

I am giving Keke's three strong enthusiastic stars. The breakfast cafe is pretty much a middle of the line diner-esk restaurant located in a typical Florida strip mall. All in all, I will have to say the food was much better than I expected. The restaurant was packed with folks who seemed to be enjoying their meals and we did as well (for the most part). Some of the highlights consisted of excellent griddle fried bacon and attentive service. The single blueberry pancake was extra fluffy verging on a bit dense but the blueberries were real blueberries and fresh. My husband complained that his waffle was a bit cold but his sausage was steaming hot. We brought our own real maple syrup but ran out we so had to order extra. Thankfully they do offer real maple syrup but with an additional fee. Warning: the real maple syrup they offer comes in a tiny jar, the kind you get at a fancier hotel or restaurant. They only give you one per extra charge. So, plan accordingly. All in all our experience was pretty decent. If you're looking for a basic breakfast spot I suggest you give this place a try. Fyi, This is not a date spot or fancy brunch place but offers good honest hometown food. Lots of families had toddlers and babies in height chairs. We had a 7 minute wait for our table. read more

We have had breakfast a couple of times, and the food was fine, and the service was as well. The short fall is with the packaging for the leftovers. Styrofoam!! Come on, Kekes, this is one of, if not the worst, most unbiodegradable packaging you could buy. There are lots of environmentally friendly alternatives and it's not like you can not pass the cost to us your customers . That goes for straws as well. read more

My friend and I originally ordered the Egg white wrap with vegetables. The wrap was soggy and made it impossible to eat. The plate was full of grease from the food. My friend and I asked the waitress if we could try something else because of the issue & she told us it could be because the cooks put too much butter or the egg whites were not cooked enough. The manager came to apologize and see what she could do for us. She offered to remake our meal but I asked for a breakfast salad instead and the bowl was full of yogurt topped with a great portion of fruit, granola and honey. The new bowl was great and the service made sure that we were satisfied. After finishing my bowl, they told us that it was all on us, even the drink my friend had ordered. Though the original meal was not the best, it was made up for with great service and the full meal on the house! I've been wanting to try Keke's out for a while. My parents have been talking about it so much so I decided to check it out. Five stars for the customer service and the delicious food. We stopped in for some breakfast. The prices were great. The waffle was so good and they gave a good amount of whipped cream so no need for any syrup. If your looking to have some great breakfast without going to the usual Ihop or Denny's then you found a great place. When I first arrived I was told it was a 30 minute wait. 30 minutes on Memorial day weekend for 9 people isn't that bad so we waited. When I was called they told us we had to be in different tables; I wish I was told that at first. After trying to talk with the hostess the manager was kind enough to figure out a solution. I mean if you have brunch with friends then you want to sit with them. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. We ordered Stuffed turtle French toast, French toast, Poached eggs and ham steak (which was amazing), home fries (a have to try), fried eyes and bacon and toast. I have been to Keke's in Tampa and this is the second location I've been to. Breakfast here did not disappoint. I came here a Saturday morning with my son (he is a baby), mom and sister. We were immediately greeted and seated by a host. They had a carseat sling so I could easily sit my baby by the table. The menu at this place is great! There are so many delicious options to choose from. I usually get one of the benedicts since I enjoy then and dont know how to make then myself. The food did not take long to get out and was hot and tasty. Overall, the place was well kept, and the service and food were excellent. Just finished a late breakfast at Keke's. First time at this location. What a great experience from parking to paying the bill. We were seated immediately which worried me at 10:15am on a Saturday, especially on a holiday weekend. I needn't have worried. AJ, our server was prompt to visit our table and take our beverage order and returned quickly with our drinks and to take our order. I follow a very low carb diet so I chose a sausage and cheese omelet but asked the kitchen to leave off the potatoes. AJ quickly offered an alternative, intuitively knowing I was avoiding the carbs and offered a side of bacon or sausage. Brilliant. Most servers would have offered fruit which does not help me much. He then asked if I'd like to substitute tomato slices for the toast. Genius. And all on his own! Husband made adjustments to his order as well, and AJ just rolled with it.
