Paid for delivery and then had to drive up there anyway because this is what came to my house. A $30 breakfast pizza with hardly any egg on it, only the middle of the pizza filled with toppings, cut horribly just wow. The manager seemed annoyed with me and I am the one who really should have been annoyed seeing how I paid a delivery fee and a tip just to have to drive back up there. They made me a new pizza and it was better than this one but honestly not by much. I couldn't complain though at least each slice had toppings on it. I hate to be the type of person who comes in right before closing, however the employees were claiming that shop was closed up at 7:50 even though they close at 8:00pm. I feel like that's a little too far into the shift to say that you're closed. I tried explaining to the employees that I had just gotten back from a really rainy and wet cross country running meet. They quite literally said something that added up to 'yeah that's cool and all, sorry, we're off the clock.' This was my go-to pizza place. I really like their food and have been a loyal customer. Even though there is another pizza restaurant right down the street from my home and others close by, I would drive the ten minutes to Perri's, because it was worth it. So, why the bad review? I am giving them only one star and I am no longer supporting their business because of my experience last night. I ordered pizza and wings online and went to pick up the order. When, I got there, the counter person who took care of me had a mask on but it wasn't covering her nose, just her mouth. Another man in the back, cooking, had a mask around his chin. A third young man came out from the back, also with a mask around his chin. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC! The numbers here in Rochester have been on the rise for over a week. It has been proven that masks help to stop the spread of Covid. I am 100% about supporting small businesses and local businesses. I always have been. And, I know how much the restaurant industry has been hurting. I try to get takeout from restaurants as often as I can to help them thru this difficult time. However, I will no longer support ANY business that does not take this seriously and does not take the VERY SIMPLE measure of wearing a mask properly. If you do not care about the health of your customers and your staff, then I don't care about your business, either. UPDATE: I just spoke with the Manager of that location. He and the owner had just been discussing my review, in fact. And, I will say that I was impressed about his response and I will, at some point, give Perri's another chance. He let me know that they do take the pandemic very seriously and that they are implementing new guidelines/procedures to make sure that both customers and staff are kept safe. It is completely understandable that you can't be at a business all the time, watching everything and you can't watch every employee every minute. And, it is a difficult and stressful situation for all. He assured me that they are taking this seriously and i have no reason to not believe him. So, I will try Perri's again, because I LOVE their food. And, if it's all okay, in terms of safety, I know I will change my rating to 5 stars. read more

Staff is so warm and friendly here, always greeted with a smile. I like to come in occasionally for a HUGE slice and they seriously are huge. Do yourself a favor and have them cut it in half for you. They usually have Pepperoni, Cheese and Buffalo chicken everyday and on Wednesdays they have Garlic slices. They have some Chili Lime, Hot Buffalo sauces that you can get to dip on the side if you want (on the house) and their Buffalo Chicken is better with a little extra Buffalo sauce. I usually get the cheese and load up on the red pepper flakes - Half of the slice is plenty for lunch, crust is flavorful and the sauce is just right. The buffalo chicken is generally not favorite as I found it a little dry. Last week I tried their garlic slice for the first time - they had Spinach/Grilled Chicken and Loaded Meat options. I smelled the Bacon and had to try the meaty slice. There was sausage, grilled chicken, bacon and a hearty layer of cheese - such a loaded slice with toppings piled on. The specialty slice with a diet Pepsi less than $6 is a great deal. I have gotten the boneless wings here which I found well sauced with a large selection of options. I got the sticky, sweet and spicy mango habanero, which I really enjoyed. I would say the pizza and wings are good but the service is always nice midday when I have gone, and ups it from about a 3.5 to 4. Check them out - share a slice with a friend. read more

Our first and most likely last visit to Perri's pizza...Okay so it has been said that "even bad pizza isn't so bad"...Nope not so...Perri's pizza like so many is pretty much one dimensional at best, dough, sauce, cheese, peperoni etc. and the real difference with any great pizza, the thing that separates the big dogs from the puppy's, is the dough...The base to which just about anything can be placed on top and you'd have a culinary masterpiece, but yet most fall short of this most important feature and Perri's is no different...It's just okay and nothing more, better than Domino's but not by far...Next comes the sauce, the wonderful red stuff we all enjoy, not too salty and not to bland...Yup you guessed it Perri's is again no different from 98% of the pizza joints and thus nothing special or new to offer...So in closing I always suggest trying them for yourselves and let tour taste buds tell you if I was right or wrong...Everyone is different when it comes to chow...I always say that a great pizza hot is still a great pizza cold and if it sucked hot, you know it's not gonna get any better when it's cold...My two cents...Cheers read more

Attached is the picture of the ticket of our order. Let me say first off that the girl taking my order was very new (obvious on the phone and in person). She was noticeably doing the best she could and asking necessary questions, so she certainly isn't to blame. What I heard on the phone were short retorts to her questions from those who were supposed to be helping her and when I arrived they were very demanding of her and not helpful. In the 10 minutes I was there she looked like a deer in the headlights. The "supporting" "training" staff seemed to offer little to no help and actually looked to be passing work off on her and not guiding her. She was not ready to handle the phone/register on a Friday night, to no fault of her own. After I made the order (as you can see, 1/2 order of bourbon wings is highlighted on the ticket as well as a side of pizza sauce, which is "standard" for their calzones), both were missing. Working in F@B I understand these things can be missed. What matters is how you recover, how you interact with the customer, and your empathy for a situation. When I called back to let them know the issue, the "manager" said the sauce is in the box (no, it was not) and that he was the one who sauced the wings and must have "missed it". This would all be a lot more understandable if I had seen this new person being trained at the register and supported in fielding calls, instead of the scene that I did see of employees shooting the shit and not giving her/the customers the time of day. All in all, I will never be back (it's a 1/2 mile away from my house) and I certainly hope the owner sees this review and adjusts because there are better establishments a stone's throw away and better managed Perri's in the area. read more

Major disappointment. I've actually came here numerous times without any problem. We'll typically order and eat there in their dining area which consists with only a few tables. Me my buddy and his son, came here on October 1st, 2015 around 4:55pm. I placed my order in first which was 2 slices of pizza, 6 wings, and mozzarella sticks. My buddy orders 2 slices of pizza. We gave our names, and we sat down at a table. My buddy's pizza comes within minutes. As I'm sitting there waiting, a good 20 minutes passed and I finally got up and asked kindly what's happening with my order. I was asked my name and what I ordered. Came off as if they lost my order. As the lady asked around what happened she then comes back and tells me their saucing my wings right now. So I said fine. A gentleman takes my mozzarella sticks and wings and asks me if they were for here or to-go. I told him they were supposed to be "for here" and he hands me the 2 to-go boxes anyway. Then came out my two slices of pizza which I then asked for a to-go box. As I'm ready to leave, my buddy asks for two more slices to-go. A good 10 minutes passes and he receives one slice and told he gentleman he ordered two. Another minute passes and the second slice comes. Not the best experience and now onto the actual food itself. As I was waiting for my buddy to get his two to-go slices, I tasted my pizza and it wasn't heated all the way through. Literally the pizza is made, and is slid into the oven to heat up. It was stale, and the cheese tasted of plastic. Mozzarella sticks were warm at best and came with cold marinara sauce. Taking the wings home and having them there, I bit into a suspicious textured wing. I spat it out, and saw it was veiny, pink, and raw. I ordered on the telephone at 430 from Perri's Pizza on East Henrietta Road..the girl told me it would be ready in 25 minutes..I said no problem, no rush I will be there at 520...I paid by card on the phone so no one had to touch it...I got there, in a mask at 524..I went in, gave my name and while I stood there several people came and went with their order...I was told they needed a few more minutes, give them my phone number and they would run it out to my car when ready...I pointed out my car and went and sat...many people came and went....after sitting there for 20(!)minutes I decided I had had enough...I called into the store from which I could see from the car...I called at least 5 times before I got anyone to talk to me..The girl that answered the first 4 would answer with please hold and go back to folding pizza boxes...when some one finally answered I told them who I was, that I wanted to cancel my order and get my money back..she said she spoke to a manager and it would go back on my card..The girl told me that it was busy and they moved the wait time to 40 minutes....I told her it didnt matter, I had called more than an hour ago and that I would not be back...she hung up without saying anything... read more

Another stellar performance by the Henrietta crew .... as I was waiting an extra 25 minutes for my order as usual I watched a delivery driver get out of his car in the middle of Lehigh Station Road and threaten the car behind him. He then pulled into the parking lot as they were taking a picture of him and stopped and flipped them off.... once inside he pouted and gave everybody an evil eye, threw papers around and acted like a big tough guy to anybody that looked at him.... and then I listened to the girls behind the counter complain and swear in front of children and other customers about their jobs.... I have been a faithful perri's customer in Henrietta till now...stopped in for our usual 2 slice purchase and witnessed atmosphere unlike our previous visits. Ordered a buffalo chicken and pepperoni slice. While waiting for the reheat I couldn't help but notice what seemed like a high school cafeteria atmosphere. Behind the counter the crew were pretty upbeat which isn't necessarily bad but the joking around seemed a bit much. Off to the left side a young man was sitting on something, laughing as he was deep in some conversation with someone but I then watched smoke exhale from his mouth. Last year we made multiple attempts to order for our office's weekly pizza party from Perri's but ended up giving all of our business to Mark's. This year we decided to give them another shot and everytime we call even to ask what kind of specialty pizzas they are making for the day, we always receive the same rude response, "Umm we have orders to fill so we don't know" - ok, well every other Perri's location in Rochester manages to successfully fill their orders and make specialty slice pizzas for the day, and they're even capable of offering customer service to boot.
