Perro

I tried Perro at their food truck location at LA Ale Works and it did not disappoint. The staff were quick with all the orders. The taco I got was loaded and I enjoyed the melted cheese they used as the base. I think the best part was the fresh heap of guacamole that they used to top everything off. One thing that I think could be improved was the carne asada. Maybe it was the other ingredients just overpowering but I think it could've been seasoned more or had more flavor in general. Overall though the taco was still good and I would recommend giving it a try.

TikTok brought me here .. when the person said Tacos Yaqui I knew I had to make my way . Ima be real tho it was well put together and it tasted good. I tried the meat by itself it was too Smokey didn't like it .. I wish they had the grill there since they only have one type of meat ..

A+++!! This business is at the head of the class. Fresh made flower tortillas, melted cheese, fresh guacamole, chipotle sauce, salsa, pinto beans and carne asada! It's a game changer taco but big enough to be called a burrito. The food is amazing. I actually visited the other location in Cudahy. Definitely highly recommend this place.

A few weeks back I finally went to try this taco spot. We were a little nervous because there was no line, but thought maybe because it was still early. The stand was being run by 3 young men and the menu was very simple. We ordered two tacos each. We were amazed watching them put them together because each taco is huge and heavy.... the best way I can describe it is that it is more like an open burrito weight wise. The flour tortilla so chubby and chewy coated in grilled cheese, the meat really good and smoky, add in the beans and all the garnish... you honestly you will be satisfied with just one taco! Highly recommend trying this spot!

Tacos Perrónes is Perro 110's specialty, what's a Perrón? Something gabachos would call awesome or excellent! And that's exactly what the Perro is awesome! Perro 110 uses sizable cuts of tender "Arrachera or Ranchera" which is a prime cut of beef and generally reserved for backyard carne asadas, the Arrachera beef is grilled over mesquite wood and it stands out with the pronounced smokiness. Let's start on the plancha where they drop a good amount of Mozzarella cheese and cook it until it's golden brown https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/perro-101-los-angeles?select=rHg_DdDKf_iuQsNhl7fWDQ it's then placed in a large handmade flour tortilla which they import weekly from Tijuana! Then topped with large amounts of tender smokey Carne Asada, Frijoles, Guacamole "made from fresh real avocados! Onions surprisingly they use moradas, Cilantro, Chipotle Crema and Salsa Roja, if you think like this sounds like a lot of ingredients, well it is and the Perro is Massive. The balance of all the different flavors works so well together but these flour tortillas with their light snap and chew are just incredible and https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/perro-101-los-angeles?select=9dZVfZFP3I4wsyx7v_kHzA when they hand you your first Perro you might find yourself a bit overwhelmed by the size of these tacos, I know that I was and after you're done eating, you'll be ready for a nap! Having tried Tacos El Yaqui in Rosarito, I knew that these tacos would be tasty, and I was right! They used homemade flour tortillas, with all the ingredients having a smoky taste. One taco was enough, though I wish I could have had more!

Tacos are fire! The tortillas are so good. There a nice thick tortilla de harina that tastes like your nana made it.

I wanted to order all the things but I exercised some restraint and just ordered the CARAMELO ($8.75 - Flour tortilla, pinto beans, Monterey Jack cheese, avocado salsa, salsa roja, avocado, cabbage.). I picked chorizo as my protein option. I also, of course, had to also add the smoky grilled poblano chile for $1.25. It was SO good and FLAVORFUL - it didn't even need the salsas. Although, I will note that both the salsas were lovely. The flour tortilla was clearly freshly made. Also, it was a massive portion. I don't know what I was expecting. If this is the size of their caramelo, I don't want to know how giant the burrito is. I also had to get the cucumber agua fresca to pair with my caramelo. It was perfectly sweetened and wonderfully refreshing. I'll have to make my way back here now to try the burrito 2.0 and chivichanga.

I came here for dinner on a week night and my experience here was pretty good. I had the asada and al pastor tacos with all the toppings and they were both so good and full of meat and heat. The toppings can be spicy for some, so be warned. My favorite of the two was the all pastor which was flavorful and I did like the thinly shaved meat. It was not dry at all and was fresh. I also tried the mulita with al pastor meat and that was also soso good. Cheesy, meaty, and indulgent. The additional topping section had good variety with pickled onions, cucumbers, etc. and everything seemed pretty fresh. Unfortunately, they were pretty much out of the roasted pepper and grilled onions at the time I went. To drink, I had the horchata and that was also very delicious. It was huge, sweet, and creamy. I also loved how it was not grainy at all. A good pairing with the rich foods. They also have a good amount of seating at the stand with a long table and multiple chairs. Parking is tricky since its street parking only.

I've been meaning to try the other items on their menu, but it was so good the first time that I had to order it again. The portions are *very* generous, and they had the usual sides readily available on the side: lemons, cucumbers, sliced radish, grilled onions and peppers, etc. Also had a bite of their corn quesadilla... the tortilla was soooo good. They had the masa on the side and were making the tortillas fresh and by hand. Yum. Payment: - They take Apple pay! :) Parking: - We found street parking nearby thankfully, but it might be hard to find in general due to the area. Seating: - They have seating to the left of their grill (tables, folding chairs, a tarp overhead). Depending on the time of day, sometimes the shade doesn't quite cover your face--the sun was setting and hitting us right in the eyes, so we switched sides to sit facing away from the sun once those seats were available.

Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

The tostada was very hard and chewy thought I was going to brake a tooth. Asada meat and guacamole on the tostada had no salt. The only thing I was able to taste was the spicy salsa, which it's extremely spicy. My chorizo taco cold and the mulita was okay. Tortillas hand made which that's a plus Agua fresca de pineapple tasted water down too much just tasted the water with hint of pineapple. If you new to this place just know that you can ask for frijoles de la olla on the side they are free. I did like that they had grill onions and it's self serve. Street parking available, but know area not the best to be in. Tables have about 3 incase you planning eat there, & if super hungry know you will be waiting for a long time. It's really cool know it's a tire shop during the day and a taco shop in evenings. This place is very laid back attired unfortunately no music playing.

I've been a fan of Holbox for a while, but the tasting menu is a completely different experience. Every course was thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and just ridiculously good. There wasn't a single dish where I thought, "Eh, I could've skipped that." You can really see why they've earned the Michelin recognition--it's so well deserved. What I appreciated most was that nothing felt overdone or pretentious. It was just incredible food, amazing ingredients, and a team that's clearly passionate about what they do. If you ever get lucky enough to score a reservation, don't even think twice. It's one of those meals you'll be talking about long after it's over.

They've added more outdoor seating right outside the market + a few spots in the parking lot courtyard. If you're looking for a slightly quieter environment, outside is preferable. As for parking, the lot directly attached to the market is small and paid, but the DMV has opened the back gate allowing much more free parking if you head to the back corner of the market's lot. These were truly the epitome of street tacos and absolutely nothing about the vibe, the service, and the FOOD, disappointed. Immediately upon arrival, I noticed the long line of people and said to myself, either this place is really good or really slow. It took me longer to decide what I wanted to try than what it took for the line to move and for it to be my turn to order. So yea, these folks are FAST and very courteous as well. They have real Al Pastor on the trompo (the spit) so of course I ordered pastor tacos and a pastor mulita. I also ordered a few SUADERO tacos which you don't find just anywhere. I am still raving about the amount of meat and flavor of the food here, it's insanely delicious. Once you get your food you make your way down to the end of the taco stand where you are met with an amazing array of fresh taco fixings and salsas. The pink creamy-habanero was the best and the green/red salsas followed right behind. I can't wait to go back to this place. I do like how they grill their meat though and they use the tortillas to scoop up the meat on the grill. Also, make sure you ask them for pineapples since they did not include it until we asked. They do have them sliced up in a container by the meats. Ambience is very casual and it's a stand while eating type of situation. Service was quick.
