Great service, portion size & menu. We sat near the bar, was too loud. Hidden gem around the corner from main st.

My first time at this restaurant and it was amazing! We got the baked cod, lobster rolls, salmon, and fish & chips. All iconic plates and all so so good! It was a little too bright in the restaurant but I also enjoy a dimmed light everywhere I go so that's just preference. The service was also great! Only odd thing was the lobster roll came with lays chips in the bag. I think they should've taken the chips out of the bag for us, but other wise great.

This place is a great sports bar, with a tremendous craft beer selection. The place has a lively atmosphere for watching sports games. I ordered the lobster roll and was truly surprised as to how much lobster meat was on the roll. This has got to be one of the best lobster rolls in New England.

Definitely a hidden gem. The service here was amazing - extremely kind, quick, and willing to accommodate our walk-in party of 11. Our drinks were tasty, and the food was quite good, especially considering the variety offered. I was happy with just some mac and cheese, and honestly wish I had tried something else, too. Relaxed environment, good food, solid prices. Definitely recommend.

I loved this place. The hostess was extremely nice and accommodating to us. It's a very friendly atmosphere and our server was wonderful. The steak tips were delicious and plentiful. I could not believe the mound of potato salad I got or a whole ear of street corn! Way too much but a fabulous lunch the next day! Lots of choices in a rustic style tavern! Parking is a bit of a challenge but well worth it.

My family and I dined here during our recent Cape Cod trip. Despite the restaurant being busy, we were quickly seated. I had the Pineapple Coconut Margarita, which was not too sweet and not too strong. I was indecisive for my meal so I ended up just getting Nachos. The portion was big and shareable, and had most of the fixings I want in nachos - just needed beans. If I stay in Hyannis next time then I will dine here again!

The food here was absolutely amazing! Not only was every bite delicious, but the customer service was warm, welcoming, and so friendly. Since we're visiting from down south, we were on the hunt for a late-night spot (which isn't easy to find by the Harbor since so much was already closed). Luckily, we made our way toward the Cape Cod Mall area and struck gold! We shared a mouthwatering lobster roll with crispy fries, a perfectly baked pizza, and for dessert... oh my goodness--the chocolate chip cookie skillet topped with creamy vanilla ice cream and the caramel fudge brownie sundae were next-level indulgence. If you're ever in the area and craving a late-night bite, this is the spot to be!

The service was great-- def 5 worthy! We ordered: Hand cut fries-- they were fresh! 10/10 Seafood Alfredo-- my partner seemed to enjoy it. A cheese pizza-- we're from CT so our pizza standards are pretty high (iykyk) but I thought it was great. Wings with their special sauce-- it's buffalo and lemon pepper but I felt the lemon pepper was overbearing. Otherwise, they were cooked perfectly.

Wow! We read reviews trying to determine a nice spot for dinner and we certainly hit the jackpot! The food was delicious... the burger was the biggest we've ever seen. AND it was one of the best we've ever had! The service was great and it was a nice, laid back atmosphere.

We were greeted by a friendly staff and were quickly seated. The menu offered something for everyone but I opted for the lobster roll. It did not disappoint! Overall a cozy tavern that I can envision being a regular at.

My first glass of vinho verde wine was served at room temperature (the second was fine), and the side plate I was given was crusted with dried food residue. I also watched an employee behind the bar wipe her nose with her hand and then continue slicing citrus barehanded. The chicken empanadas were good but not particularly special. We also had one of the small pizzas, which was the best thing of the night, crispy and flavorful (with a little char at the edges, which we like). The decor is a little bananas (different shades of green between the walls, the napkins, the barstools, and the banquettes; five kinds of lighting fixtures; lots of sound and lighting items with exposed, hasty-looking wiring). The bathroom door doesn't really close and lock properly. And the restaurant is really loud, even half full. The writing on the menu, about family members and special recipes, tells me that there's pride here and real care about making a good restaurant. However, without the attention to detail (particularly cleanliness and hygiene!), that's kind of moot. Three stars instead of two here because the pizza was good and the staff obviously care about customers.

Conveniently located near the ferry terminal and also near the Hyannis Harbor hotel where we were staying for a weekend getaway to the Cape a few weekends ago. We walked down the street, checked out the menu which looked good. It was a bit hot so we decided to sit inside however it felt a bit dark inside so we went back outside and were seated under the covered area outside. The menu is quite extensive so no trouble finding something you like. We ordered the crab cake appetizer which was good - I prefer more lump crab meat and this was all minced together but still good. For my main dish I ordered the salmon which came with roasted potatoes and veggies with a light sauce. It was nice - salmon was tender, potatoes were crispy and tender - good portion size. Hubs ordered the dayboat cod and he enjoyed it. Servers were nice and they even took our photo on request. It's a popular spot you can tell - both inside and outside were busy. Was nice sitting outside- they have these planters on the side which make for nice outdoor decor. Overall a good experience!

Small requests overall that made us feel like we were burdening her. I got the Buffalo Cauliflower which was ok. Drenched in sauce and soggy. Tap City Grille was a surprise for me!…read more I tried it out around 7 years ago and wasn't the biggest fan. It was a good place to go out with friends and have some wings, but I wasn't impressed whatsoever. My family and I were on vacation looking for a place to go that's different from Seafood, so we went back to Tap City to give it another shot. It was incredible. It was possibly one of my favorite restaurants I've tried during my vacation. We got a lot of different dishes, so I was able to try a bunch of them. I myself ordered a "build your own" Pizza. I got Hot Italian Sausage and Pepperoni. It was a very good size for the amount of money you spend. It was delicious. The sauce was amazing, the cheese blend was good and the toppings were both fresh! The crust was a bit soggy however. It was fine, it just was a bit floppy. I tried the Brussel Sprout appetizer and it may have been the best thing on the menu. They were addictive. I could've just ordered those and have been satisfied. I tried the Chicken Tenders and they were alright, but you could tell they are frozen and not homemade. The Fries were good, but just normal fries you'd expect at a bar and grille. Although I personally didn't try it, one of the guests I was with was in love with the Hamburger. This place is a must stop on your vacation if you're looking for a break from Seafood. It has a nice atmosphere and has been packed every time I've walked by. So why am I only giving this a four? Our waitress was not good. She had zero emotion and looked like she wanted to be anywhere other than at her job. I waited 20 minutes to get a refill on my drink because she never checked on us until we finished our food. My devoted "mug club" friends that used to meet weekly at Cape Cod Beer introduced me to this fantastic new spot in their rotation. Wow, am I impressed! I met the brewmaster / owner, Brian, friendly and he sure knows his stuff. The quality he is producing in this tiny location is exceptional. I started with the Norm Ale, like normal ...get it? I love the play on names they come up with like Buttah Beer. The Norm Ale is pale but not lacking color, it's so caramel creamy, biscuit smooth. Just delicious, no bitter bite to this beauty. And I really appreciate the lack of fizziness too, that's so unlike American beer. I followed that with the Riley Red. Think Killarney Irish red ale and that's what this delivers. An excellent example of a red with colored hues, it's tasting brighter, light malty, and rich. And because it's October I rounded off by tasting the Oaktober Fest. (Oak Bay October fest) my buddy Wayne loves this one, especially in his fancy German stein they so nicely agreed to fill for him. This seasonal ale is tasty modestly spiced medium malt season, not too hoppy, it's beautiful. The Brit/ Irish style that Brian is producing, less carbonated & fizzy, which I really liked about the ales. You don't go home with a bloated stomach. Lucky for us it is Oktoberfest and they were cooking up beer-soaked bratwurst with sauerkraut and German pretzel hot baked out of the toaster oven $11. A perfect accompaniment to the ales. I genuinely feel these are the best beers being made on Cape Cod, and beyond. Get over to Oak Bay Brewery and try for yourself what I'm convinced of!
