I got into an accident a few weeks back the other driver total my car or what they call Total because they didn't want to pay the repairs so I have to get a salvage title on my car I went to Perris to get a safety inspection I have never been treated like this it was a mechanic and my life I mean talk about your A-1 red carpet treatment! The office waiting room is small but they offered to take you where you need to go and then pick you up when your car is ready they drove me to Denny's yesterday I had breakfast an hour and a half later they called me and said my car was ready they came and picked me up and I passed the inspection they were very quick very thorough very professional very courteous and that is service you just don't get in California anymore. Their mechanic prices are a bit high but then aren't they all these days but I can tell you that for a courteous and professional experience Perry's is the place to go read more

Having someone work on your car puts you in a vulnerable place. The guys at Perrys are people I can trust. Their business operates on honesty and integrity and is backed up by high caliber work. I was in the shop having my tires balanced, and a group of out of towners had to stop to have some emergency work done on their car, Thinking they were stranded they asked if they paid me if I would drive them to the mall. On my way back to Seattle, my car broke down at a gas station a half mile from Perry's. It was 3pm Thurs, and I walked there, passing Keith's Towing (talk about luck), and was told no one would be able to look at my car until Fri, too busy. I had my car towed, and Glen took a look anyway. His son Jerimy ended up working on it until closing, 5pm. Then Glen drove me to a hotel. As a woman alone, not knowing what was wrong with my car, I was in a bind. I had no idea who these people were and if they were honest or skilled. Jerimy was kind and talked to my husband over the phone several times, accommodating our need to ask many questions. Fri morning, Jerimy put his other work aside and worked on my car. The car had an odd problem that was hard to diagnose. All Friday, Jerimy took calls from my husband, who had involved our mechanic at home, and the two mechanics worked over the phone to solve this very odd problem. Jerimy had the confidence to talk to our mechanic and my husband, never showing offense or exasperation at our request. Our mechanic later told us Jerimy proved to be excellent and knew his stuff. I'd rented a car Fri to drive back to family in Auburn since the shop was closed weekends. Sat morning on my way out, I realized I needed something out of my car. I knew the shop was closed on weekends, but on a slim chance I drove by at 10am. Lo! Jerimy had just pulled up and had come in to work on his day off. He said he couldn't stop thinking about the car and wanted to get me home. He fixed the car later that day, so I was able to pick up my car early Mon morning. I can't say enough about Perry's. Everyone went out of their way to help me out. They showed genuine concern and caring about my predicament, from the two ladies in the office to every mechanic I encountered. This is a top notch garage with people who take pride in their work and care about the outcome and customer satisfaction. My 2003 Dodge Cummins 2500 Pickup stalled when I was driving around town recently. I was able to get it started and I immediately called Perry's Automotive to have them take a look at it. They said to bring it in right away so they could diagnose the problem. Their diesel mechanic is the best in town (probably the state...) and I have had Perry's perform service and repairs on my truck many times. They found the problem and made the necessary repairs and I was on the road by the next day. The diesel guy is great. But the rest of the shop is not. I have taken two gass trucks there and the shop said they were good to go,but they were not. One continued to have the same problem after I had taken it there twice. Another shop fixed it just fine. The other truck ended up blowing a head gasket the next day after paying them $500 to fix it. read more

We've used Perry's before and had satisfactory results. This time was a completely different experience. We had a rough week. Our truck broke down and was dropped off at Perry's Sunday afternoon and picked up Tuesday. Charges seemed high but we paid and moved on. Our car was having issues and was left Tuesday when we picked up truck and worked in with assurance they had time for it. Wednesday after work called them and they hadn't time, but assured us they would Thursday am. Dropped by after work Thursday to check on it and no one had even looked at it. Communication would have helped... We ended up bringing it home and will be taking it to someone else. read more

I took my hybrid to Perry's to troubleshoot why it couldn't pass the CA smog test. I had been to two other shops first, including the dealer. One gave up, and the dealer quoted $800 for a repair that was only a possible fix. At Perry's, they dug a little deeper, calling the manufacturer's technical hotline (no comment on why the dealer didn't bother ...). Within a few minutes they learned that there was a software upgrade to a non-emissions part of the engine that "sometimes has the side effect of fixing the emissions problem." Sure enough, the car passed right after they did the upgrade, for well under $100. The owner, Jeremy, called me personally to explain the situation. I've been taking both cars there ever since, and they always provide top quality mechanical service with smart and friendly customer service. Highly recommended! read more

The details aren't important, but the lack of professional customer service was deplorable! Passing through town at around 2:30 when water gushed into passenger footwell. It wasn't coolant,...just water. (Beginning of a two week road trip to the Northwest) at this time I had no Idea what it could be. Stopped here after all the positive Yelp reviews. What a joke! Both bays empty and two techs talking out front. The young fellow at the front desk said "couldn't see us until next week", it was a Wednesday. No attempt whatsoever to give any advice or thoughts about what problem might be! Fortunately someone across town attempted to diagnose via Internet, since he was busy too, and after a trip to Lowes for a can of compressed air, and some YouTube videos, we self diagnosed and repaired a clogged AC drain with a can of compressed air!! You'd think the professionals here could have at least suggested this...but no. Acted like they had no idea and were too "slammed" to take a look. I'd say be careful! If they work on AC all week long, they know what this might have been. Sucks that the office manager made NO attempt to help, make a suggestion, or recommend another shop. Once the problem was corrected I was really heated!!! But fortunately our AC worked great to cool me down...no thanks to these guys!! A simple problem should NOT be something that a car repair shop acts as though a customer needs to wait a week to be serviced...especially when they were all standing around. I'll never go back...and be sure to advise others to avoid! read more
