No respect for other peoples time. I was sent to Perry's by a friend. I called and told him what i needed and he said just bring it by anytime and plan on leaving it for a couple of hours. No appointment needed. A few days later I have a co-worker take time off work to meet me there for a ride. When I arrive Perry tells me he is to busy now and I need to leave it for 3-4 days and he has no place to store it. He suggest I come back the following week. A few months ago I brought in my car to get looked at because I thought it had a small leak and my AC had stopped working. As it turns out, I had a major leak from the front main seal, my engine was flooding, one of my axel boots was ripped, the ac compression unit had gone out completely and my timing belt needed to be changed. I was worried that it would take forever and cost a ton of money since I have an older car. The last FOUR mechanics I had been to, wanted to charge me more than TRIPLE, the regular cost of replacing parts because it is an old car (my car isnt even worth the amount of money they were asking me for...) and I was told they don't make those parts any more. (its a 1991 Toyota Camry, in decent shape). I spoke to Ken at Perry's Auto shop and he wanted to have it for a day and a half and it would cost me less than $2000, he said the had most of my parts in stock and he could order the other ones NO PROBLEM.... I thought he was joking. They were not in-fact, joking, Ken was exactly right with his time quote and they did a fan-TASTIC job, in a very quick time, AND they gave it back to me cleaner than I left it. It was Wonderful!! Less than a month later.. my car gets stolen... My car was found the next day, and everything that Perry's Quality Auto had so nicely repaired was torn up all over again! After the car was found, the insurance lost it for almost two weeks and it was found, about to be auctioned off as the wrong car!! I Brought the car to Perry's Quality Auto and they were SO nice and helpful and did a better inspection than the insurance inspector did! After a bunch of nonsense with my insurance (and my car having sat in Perry's Auto shop for a little over a month...) I finally get the insurance to issue them a check for the work and I go to pay the deductible and see how long it will take before it is fixed up, since the engine had been flooded, the e-brake blown out, all four tires ground down to the metal, the axel boots ripped, the door lock smashed in, the ignition and drive shaft broken etc, I thought it would take at least a week and I was driving a rental... no. They got me my car back the next day!! The inside had been trashed as well from the vandals... soda everywhere, chips, trash, stolen phone cords and random chemical bottles and writing all over the windows... and Perry's Quality Auto cleaned all of that off, scrubbed the inside and the outside and fixed up my car beautifully as an added bonus from their customer service! The AC works great too even though they had to custom adjust the unit because it is so old. THANK YOU PERRY'S QUALITY AUTO and THANK YOU KEN FOR YOUR GREAT SERVICE, HELP and CONSIDERATION. It is MUCH appreciated. I have been referring anyone I know who has had or is having car trouble, to them. I sent my Sister and my Dad, and both have had great experiences as well! I came on here to give Perry a review and saw these other low rating reviews. I've always had excellent service when I've gone in. I'm not very good with cars to begin with but anytime I have a problem with my car I take it to Perry's. All the guys in the office are very nice and friendly. Each time I'm there my car gets taken care of and the price isn't bad at all. They do great work and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I brought my car here for an "oil leak" because my car was leaking some kind of fluid. I was then hit with $3800 of repairs and was returned my car with still a major leak. I brought the car back to them to see if they could fix the issue and they mentioned that they are not transmission specialist and they referred me to Russ Transmission in Northridge. I called this transmission shop and my car was never returned. I then brought my car to a different repair shop and they quoted my for the SAME EXACT thing that Perry Quality Auto said they repaired for me. I went back to show them the paperwork and quote and their response was "We fixed the transmission fluid but this is stating their is an issue with the transmission oil" How are you gonna tell me that the transmission oil and transmission fluid are not the same thing? Didn't have a mechanic!!! So when my truck stopped on the 118 fwy, I felt lost as to here triple a would take it for repair. My tow driver said Perry automotive was certified through triple A.. My truck was delivered to Perry's And I now have a mechanic I can believe in and trust..tested and replaced my alternator within 1 1/2 hours for a very reasonable price.. will I return ,,,ohhhh yeah!!! read more

I have been to this shop many times over the years. I have received great service from everyone who works there. The prices are reasonable and the work gets done with qualified people handling it. Perry has been working on cars all his life and you can tell it is his passion.
