The server saw them and asked them to sit in an open table (while balancing plates she was delivering to another table - pretty impressive!). She then asked the hostess to seat us. Outstanding service! We were seated and the hostess took our drink orders. My wife wanted orange juice and she said they were out of OJ. We placed our orders. While we were waiting for our orders, the hostess came back over to tell us that they just got some Orange juice in. My wife ordered it and it was delivered a short time later. My wife liked her multi-grain pancakes. My omelette was good as were the new potatoes. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy had a very nice hint of black pepper in it. It really made the biscuits and gravy stand out. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended!

We did notice some plates had a lot and some very little. We got coconut cream pie to go and the crust on these really stood out. Has to be made in house. I'd come back for pie.

I had a really frustrating experience here. I ordered a sandwich and specifically asked for no onions, but when it came out, it was loaded with them. Mistakes happen, so I went back to politely ask for it to be fixed. Instead of apologizing and correcting the order, the staff gave me a hard time and acted like it was my fault. What made it worse was being told that we were "in trouble," even though the mistake was clearly on their end. It felt unprofessional and uncomfortable, especially for something that should have been a simple fix. Customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately, this experience completely missed the mark. read more

I love this place it fun, and friendly with lots of small town charm. The food is always fresh and good. Don't go to Denny's or McDonalds support local business. I had the twisted blt and I had some constructive thoughts for the owner. 1 the sandwich is really good! 2 it is too big and messy to be a sandwich. 3 an open faced sandwich on a crunchy piece of bread would be really nice. 4 it should be served on a bigger plate so you can eat it with a fork and knife without makeing a huge mess. read more

My girlfriends and I have had breakfast here a few times now. Basically it is comfort food. It has a nice, clean feel. The food is good and the staff is generally nice and pleasant. It is usually busy (which is a good sign), but sometimes it can take a bit to get your order, which is OK with us. I have had the cinnamon rolls too and they are great, but huge, and I didn't eat again until dinner. I don't think you could have a bad experience here. read more

COVID HAS FREE REIGN IN THIS PLACE!! Counter clerk serving food with red, watery eyes and mask tucked under her chin. Other server has her mask hanging off one ear. I really like this place. Great food and great coffee in the mornings. I only had lunch here once and it was really busy. The baked goods are delicious and have even had a fancy birthday cake made up (beautiful and delicious). A great small town place with super food :-) read more

I enjoyed the green chili burrito. Whole wheat tortilla was very good too. My wife gets the twisted BLT and a caramel latte. Both very good as well. Food is fresh and also healthy. If you are in Showlow I recommend Persnikkity's. read more

Inside was jam-packed of cowboy pictures, taxidermies, funny signs, booths, tables, American flags of different nature (Army, Navy, Navy Seabees), and a bunch of happy people! It was very American, which I love. The restaurant was clean, the booths had felt of some sort and overall a very comforting experience. It's totally fine, not a deal-breaker for me but not the usual five star Cattlemen's experience. Inside is great. I don't know why, but I had never seen the gallery, and inside was a handful of artwork, averaging around $150 - $200 per work. While it all tasted ok, there were 5 pieces of broccoli, 2 small chicken breast pieces with only one of them being smothered. The other one was bare. I asked if that was all the broccoli I was supposed to get and she said it was based on weight. The whole plate felt skimpy. The burger was supposed to be without a bun, but it came with it. When we got to the car I looked at my receipt and my concrete that was about 1/4 of my husband's small was $4.09! A small was $6.29. It gets worse: after asking for "not a lot of PB cups" he got ZERO. Sadly we did not realize this until we were a few miles out of town. My recommendations: if you are in a hurry go elsewhere and clarify what you are ordering and what you get. I think we'll just try somewhere else. As requested below I tried emailing to the address listed and it came back saying the address was invalid.
