Perseys is a great place for breakfast! The staff is very friendly and accomodating. They have trivia cards on the tables that are fun while giving yourself a break from your phone. Ashley is an awesome server and Kacey, the manager, was also awesome as she was helping out whenever she was able. I love this breakfast place! I've eaten here and at the Middleboro location for many years and I always have a great experience. This location has a cool seating area in the back. It is set up like a diner which screams breakfast to me. I usually get their French toast or omelettes (Lisa's Country Omelette = my favorite) here because not only is it delicious but the portions are huge! The hash browns are wonderful and the cornbread is what the restaurant is known for. Overall I think this place deserves some good reviews because this is the best breakfast place around this area. read more

Ate here on a Sunday late morning. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very prompt and pleasant a rarity on the Cape these days. I ordered the Eggs Hemingway with a side of bacon. My dish was very good. Even got an extra side of bacon for free. Only complaint was I asked for dry toast and it came buttered. My wife's omelette was over cooked, but not too bad. Came here for breakfast recently and I must say the server greeted us with a big smile sat us down right away immediately gave us coffee as we requested, food came out shortly after and was delicious through out my visit there I never went with out coffee. Walked in with my family, a group of five people total. We're originally told that there would be a 10 minute wait, which we agreed to wait. We were given a booth that was too small. We asked for a different table. We wait again for about 20 minutes. Finally we were sat at a table Bella got us our drinks but then informed us that she was not our server. After receiving our drink order from Bella and the 8 year old young child who was also working brought the rest of our drinks to us. After about another 20 minutes, making eye contact with all three servers and the child working with open menus on our table in front of us. A woman in red finally approached us. She asked if we had ordered we told her no. Then she said, "Oh yeah that right I'm your server." At that point we immediately asked for a different server. The woman than became irate and resorted to saying, "Well you guys are classy!" I immediately chugged the cranberry juice I had ordered then walked out of the establishment. WILL NEVER GO BACK OR REFER A SWORN ENEMY TO THIS BUSINESS! Persy's gets a one star review because that the lowest google will allow me to rate. Just horrible. After the second time my order came out wrong, and my girlfriend had already finished her meal I just cancelled the order. I didn't think eggs and a waffle would be so difficult. Our waiter needed to get manager approval not to charge me for a meal I never got. When it was all said and done 2 eggs over easy, some dry overcooked hash browns and 2 three ounce cups of coffee cost us $18. The waiter never did get around to offering a coffee refill so those 2 tiny mediocre coffee on the expense scales rivals that of a Times Square, NYC, Starbucks. Never again. read more

LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE! As a local of Cape Cod, this is the worst breakfast place. This morning, my family and I decided to give Percy's another try and it just reaffirmed why we HATE this restaurant. When our waitress finally came by we ordered breakfast and drinks. We then waited 30 mins for that first cup of coffee after several ridiculous excuses. All the while waiting over an 1 hour and 20 minutes and we still hadn't seen breakfast. We had asked the waitress if our food was close to being ready, she said she would check for us but never returned. We also happened to notice that for the entire duration of our visit several tables remained unbussed. It's honestly no surprise that Percy's was fined by the Board of Health just the year prior. With a growing line out the door and several tables like ours not served I'm honestly curious how they stay afloat. It was at that point we left and will NEVER BE BACK. read more

Went for another try considering I live less than a mile away. Considering this place got written up by the board of health recently I figured they would have cleaned up their act a bit. Wrong. Home fries were hard and only browned on one side, the toast was honestly the best part of the meal, service was awful she didn't know the menu, what they had on special, or even how many sides came with the meal, we had to remind her lol. And instead of coming back for our check in a timely manner we finally got up to pay and saw her and her coworker eating over the drink station. Just poor waitressing like not bringing syrup with breakfast food and filling cups up again instead of bringing a fresh cup with a new drink. Never again. read more

My experience the last time I bought food here was incredible. And by incredible, I mean it was incredible that I could spend so much money for what I got. I ordered a Reuben. When you think of a Reuben, you think of a nice, juicy, warm corned beef sandwich with delicious sauerkraut on it. Well, that's far from what was delivered to me. What I got was insulting my senses. After waiting a decent while to get the food me and my family ordered, I was stunned to see what was delivered. Instead of that picture perfect Reuben, I was delivered what could be best described as an NFL football with two strands of sauerkraut and a boat load of swiss. I decided to take a bite. After chewing the flavorless pigskin leather to a texture that could be swallowed, I called it quits. It was like Gronk found the meat I was supposed to be served, picked it up, and spiked it straight into the turf at Gillette stadium. Or maybe Bill Belicheck broke into the kitchen and deflated the meat. Who knows, but regardless. The aftertaste of swiss cheese was the final insult. I thoroughly was disgusted by what I was served. Afraid of what I would be served if I complained, I simply paid my family's bill and left. I'm an avid customer of the Percy's place in Middleboro and have never been given such an atrocity. Even my family's food was of a low caliber. It was saddening. Based off of my experience here, I will never come back. If I want to eat footballs, I'll go to Walmart and buy myself a Wilson and some bread. read more

I went there with 8 people at about 8:00 AM on a Saturday and it was dead....and I mean DEAD. The cooks & wait staff seemed a little excited they had something to do. The food is a bit pricey, but it's Persy's Place. You get what you pay for. WRONG!!! The food was on the same line as Denny's. Not as good as IHOP. Eggs were dry. Home Fries, or whatever you call those stringy things, were way overcooked. Coffee tasted old. I went to this location today because my wife and My usual spot was closed. She got a dapper dan and I got a Heuvos rancheros with a side of hash. My wife and I both really enjoyed there hash which is made in house. My poached eggs were exactly how I enjoy them. My wife enjoyed her sunny side eggs and chocolate chip pancakes. Out of all the breakfast places I've been to in Wareham this has to be the worst one. Was not greeted when I walked in. Manager looked very distraught and lost in this restaurant. I asked her where to sit when I walked in and she responded I don't know ask the host. Server Robin was awesome, however the food was awful. This Percys has been shut down by the board of health recently and we were skeptical of giving it a second try. It is no wonder this place has such a low rating. You can tell that food is old and that this place is not well managed. We will be warning friends and family not to try this place. I always have a nice waitress when I go, but there is always staff lounging around the hostess booth and they aren't nearly as nice/welcoming. I've heard that it is run by a really nice family, but I'm here to review the food & dining experience. Maybe it's just the times that I've gone, but I've never had too long of a wait. I've been here about 8-9 times over the last few years. I've never been impressed was the food (mediocre) and the last two times I got sick. I'm pretty sure it was the eggs and/or lack of cleanliness that caused me to be ill. Some of my family members love it here and love the wide range of items on the menu. However, I think they may have edited the menu down within the last year or so. There really isn't much around here (within a couple of miles) to actually compete with Persy's, although I'll be trying Breakfast Nook today and writing a review. As of now, I will continue my search for a great breakfast on-Cape. read more

This is my favorite place around to get breakfast! Food is great and so are the servers! Especially April with the red hair. She is so great with kids and always gives my kids stickers and talks to them. I'd recommend the California burrito (with turkey bacon) and my husband loves all of the "Bombs". Everyone was pretty friendly, but the food was absolutely awful. The toasts / french toasts were made on cheap white bread (reminded me of "Wonder Bread"), my egg had a decent sized piece of shell on it, I asked for an over-easy egg - it was cooked all the way through, the hashbrowns had no seasoning (not even salt) and were cooked in cheap vegetable oil, and the pancakes were bland. We ate some of it anyway because we were starving and had waited a significant amount of time for our food, but we quickly regretted our choice as my husband and I both felt very sick within an hour of leaving there. LOVE this place. It is our go to place - although more frequently in the off season. Freshest food, cooked to order. Prices are reasonable, and the service is always excellent. My personal favorite is the waffles, but we try something new every time we visit. The only place I have found crumpets, which are a must have every time! Occasionally we have to wait for a table, but never more than 10 - 15 minutes. read more
