Ten years ago, we had a major rodent infestation in our home (attic, subfloor and walls). For the last 10 years, we have been rodent free. Recently we had major plumbing work done and some of the sealing work may have been compromised. We called The Original Rodent Proofers to come out and look at the prior job and tell us what needs to be done to re-seal the house. The inspector (Brandon) said that the plumbing contractor did a good job re-sealing but would look at each entry point and make sure that the job from ten years ago was still in good shape. Their warranty on work done was another key factor. An electrician found a dead rat and droppings in the attic, so I needed clean up and rodent proofing. In the crawl space, a bunch of the ducts were unattached by wear and tear and plumbing work that had been done in the past (which I didn't know. No wonder my gas bill was so high over the winter!). Shannon and team cleaned everything up, sanitized, reattached the ducts and rodent proofed the whole house on the outside. Apparently the attic was vulnerable, as prior owners' foam had been chewed through in the eaves. After they were done they set traps which will be checked every few weeks. I will update if there are any further rodents but I am confident in the work by the company and team. I highly recommend this family owned company.
