They are truly business damaging. Had the experience been with the young man, it would have ended in several sales. Pink hair was outright rude to my wife, myself, and my child. Whatever issue it was experiencing has cost a customer. Our pup, Opie, got to roam around the store off leash, he met all the other dogs and puppies that came in and of course his favorite part, he got many TREATS!! The owners are very knowledgeable about their products and they carry good quality products for our fur babies! Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is very welcoming! I wanted a small chewy treat for my dog, and the owner has several bins with a wide variety of individual chews (like bully sticks, veggie chews, and no-hide salmon sticks). We got two of them. She also has a good variety of bagged treats, toys, leashes and harnesses, and even some food. The owner was very sweet and helpful, and even gave us a couple of small treats to go. Lots of good quality natural ingredient products and the kicker is she gives out small bags of sample dry food (Max 4 per customer) which is great for people like us who didn't pack enough. The building itself is super cute with plenty of parking space. There's a grassy spot to the right with a pet waste station so perfect for a little potty time before bringing your pyps in. Everyone was so nice. After explaining what horrors had happened at an petsmart just for nail grinding, they did perfect on my boy Choco's nails! Even got his dew claws which for some odd reason most places seem to miss. They were so gentle with him and even mentioned how he did so well! He's been traumatized by nail clippers from his previous owner whom of which snipped off all his nails far past the quick when he was only a few months old so really just sticking to grinding keeps him from freaking. They reassured me and he came out with perfect dremmelled length nails! They have treats right at the front desk and shelves with goodies ( different type of chews like pig ears, etc) and a wall full of leashes, harnesses and different accessories for your pups. We've found our go to spot now and will be back to bring our girl in for daycare hopefully soon! Thank you!

Brought pee pads for my little dogs because they can't go from 6 or 7 pm til 7 or 8 am without…read morerelieving themselves. The pads were used 1 night out of 5. So my dogs peed their beds. The beds were removed to wash but never returned. They had to sleep on the concrete floor for most of their stay. They did put a comforter in there for 1 night. But it was peed on because pee pads that I supplied were not put down. So after that was removed, they had nothing. The camera is grainy at best especially at night. And my dogs stayed by the glass doors so I couldn't see them most of the time as the camera didn't show that area. So it was useless to pay for that when 90% of the time, you can't see them. It made me sick to look at the camera and not see any beds! My dogs will not be coming back! What's not in the photo? My dogs or beds!

So any arising issues that any puppy have is immediately taken care of. The Puppy Place has a "puppy play area" so you can make a connection with a puppy you are interested in. The Puppy Place also has a payment plan if you cannot to drop the full amount/price. The cost of the puppy is a bit on the pricey side... but for the unconditional love of man's best friend makes it worth it. I had an instant connection with my pup and knew he found his forever home. He did have upper respiratory infection but the Puppy Place did reimburse me for some of the veterinary bill/stuff. Please make sure you take your puppy to get checked by your veterinarian within the first 7-10 days and call and email the Puppy Place the bill (It is in the contract you sign. I have no regrets... my epic birthday present ever!!!!

We've even gone back to visit, and the Wilmington location has always been very welcoming. People who came back to visit, brought their previous puppies and even told us, we are coming back to get a second dog because we had a good experience. Recently, I stopped by the Jacksonville location to look at another Goldendoodle. I asked a few questions about the puppy, including the weight of the parents, whether the dog was F1 or F1B, and where the puppy was bred. One of the girls helping us was friendly and answered the questions. After finding out the puppy would likely be smaller than what we were hoping for, I told her that it probably wasn't the right fit for us. Because of that, I asked if we could look at a Labrador instead. At that point, another employee responded rather abruptly and said, "You have to be serious, if you're just here to play, you can only look at one." The comment felt unnecessary and a bit rude. I had asked detailed questions about the first dog because I was genuinely interested, but once I realized the expected adult weight didn't meet what we were looking for, I simply wanted to look at another option. I think it would have been much more appropriate for her to ask whether we were seriously looking to adopt a dog rather than immediately insinuating that we were just there to play with the puppies. The way it was said felt more like a jab than a policy explanation. It was disappointing because we had such a positive experience with the Wilmington location, I've also been to the Jacksonville location before, and they were very friendly and I expected a similar level of professionalism and friendliness. On top of visiting, we've gotten a dog already there and that shows that we are not only visitors, but we could've been second time customers.
