(2) Unacceptable dealings with store staff on multiple occasions. I've always had excellent service from this store, and that hasn't changed. But lately, EVERYTHING is out of stock. My dog has been on 3 different food brands in the past 2 years (not ideal, but couldn't be prevented) and this store can't keep any of the 3 in stock. I think they actually stopped carrying one, which is incredibly disappointing!! It's a popular brand, and all of the other pet stores still have plenty available. I have rewards points expiring like crazy because everything I want to buy is never in stock. I had switched from Chewy to PSP because of the great experience, but now that they don't have anything, I have had to go back to Chewy. Really disappointing. read more

The store is always empty. It seriously looks like it is going out of business. They have no product to purchase. I've been waiting over 3 weeks for fish they ordered for me. After going to Cattail Park, I initially was going to go to my PSP store for a dog wash. After looking at the drive, I figured why don't I just find one nearby? So I did, and it was this location. It's located in what looks like a recently built shopping strip and easy to get to. Plenty of parking, and a lot of friendly faces as soon as we walked in. I walked in and mentioned I wanted to take advantage of their 5/$25 baths and the sales associate told me to go ahead and get started on my bath. Deal! The pup had a great bath, I highly recommend their bathing stations. They had a folded towel and treat on top waiting for us at the station. Midway through the bath, a sales associate asked me if I was OK with allowing another neighbor wash their pup next to me. I didn't have a problem, but thought that gesture was nice. Overall -- great location. I do not live near here, so not sure how often I will visit, but I do recommend. Very friendly, accommodating staff. After I paid and we were getting ready to leave, our cashier pulled out a jar of treats for Teddy to have one. read more

TLDR; Terrible management and operations. Livid. That is how I am feeling right now. My pup is having surgery today, and I don't want her to have to wear the hard, plastic cone of shame that they give you at the vet. So, yesterday, I shopped around online to find a store nearby that has a soft recovery collar. I was super pleased to see that this store had it in the size I needed, plus they had same day delivery to my area. Sweet! I placed the order at around 9:45 am and received a confirmation email at 9:53 am. Yet, the collar never arrived. No big deal, I thought. I figured I'd just call them this morning and sort it out and get it delivered before my pup's surgery was done. This is where the disaster begins... I called the store a little after 9 this morning. The young man on the phone was very polite and was clearly trying to help, but the management over at this store is dismal. I explained the issue. He got my name and put me on hold. He came back and asked for my name again. He put me on hold again. He came back and asked what I ordered. He put me on hold again. You can see where this is going. After being told they couldn't find the order, I was then told it "had been dispatched with Uber, so call them because it is out of our hands at this point." I explained that Uber doesn't have a number you can just call and, even if they did, I had zero information to give them about the driver, pickup time, etc. Put on hold again. I'm then again told they can't find the order. Wait, you can't find the order but you just told me it was dispatched with Uber?? Clearly, someone was just telling this poor kid on the phone what to say and told him to just tell me it's with Uber now to get me off the phone. They then asked if anyone had called me yesterday about the order. Sigh. After 36 minutes of this nonsense, and after being put on hold for the umpteenth time, I hung up, called back, and got a new person. I told her I would just come get the collar during my dog's surgery if they would just set it aside so I could be quick. It was THEN that they decide to tell me that they DON'T EVEN HAVE IT IN STOCK!! Thank you so much for wasting almost an hour of my morning!! Why wasn't I just told this at the beginning?!? What in the actual...??!! I said, "fine, just issue me a refund." Put on hold again. Poor young kid gets put back on the phone with me to inform me I'll have to come into the store to get a refund. No, this is not a joke. I obviously will not be going anywhere near that store, ever. So, I'll now have the joy of disputing the charge with my credit card company. If you made it through this painfully long review, thank you. Just think, it probably took you less than 1/4 of the time it took me to deal with the people at this joke of a store. read more

First off.. I love service! Amazing customer service! All the associated were very friendly and spoiled my dogs who came in for a bath. They have a huge selection of supplies... I got a hair brush, small dog toys and flea medicine. After my dogs bath all the associates took turns cuddling him and swaddles him because they felt he might be cold. I came in for the self grooming and was definitely not disappointed! Almost cannot wait until they are dirty again! read more

I have always been an evangelist for this store as an alternative to the big box pet store. Unfortunately that comes to an end today as this store has zero respect for the customers time. With the dog wash station limited, they let a single customer monopolize the place for the full hour I was waiting and the response is "sorry we don't have a time limit". Well that is fine with three stations available, but with only one there needs to be some respect for the other customers also. Unfortunately everything I get at this store can be bought elsewhere, so elsewhere is where I will go. read more

Today was my first experience with Pet Supplies Plus and the dog washing station. One of the owners, Kalese, was so kind and supportive. Her customer service was incredible. She tried to make my experience as easy as possible, even though my dog was quite nervous and made a big mess. One of the cashiers, perhaps his name is Noah, was also very helpful. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at the level of professionalism I received from the employees at this store. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the employee's positive and enthusiastic attitude. What made the employee's attitude such a surprise was they were very young. We rescued a puppy that was dumped on the side of the road. We came into Pet Supplies to give him a bath and the manager didn't charge us because we rescued the pup. Also, the staff was very helpful with rescue information and guidance for the malnourished pup. read more

My visits to Pet Supply Plus are awesome. I take both my dogs to the self service dog wash and purchase supplies. The staff members are great and Allyson who help me more than once each visit is very patient, polite, and professional. My vet diagnosed one of my dog with food allergies. So Allyson was experienced with the various types of dog foods and provided guidance regarding the foods that were available at Pet Supply Plus for dogs with food allergies. And I purchased the limited ingredient food for dogs with allergies. I decided to visit Pet Supply Plus again because my large dog pulls a lot when I walk him. Allyson recommened a dog harness that was available and the issue was resolved... I took my dog to the park afterwards and he was more under control. Ryan assist also with putting the harness on my dog. It's refreshing to have great staff members who really take time and go beyond the call to assist the customers. DO NOT BUY ANIMALS HERE! Sadly, I just can't go into this store anymore after tonight. I go into this store SO MUCH to get feeders and supplies, BUT today was my last day walking into this store. 1- the staff needs proper training to handle and care for the animals, the staff CARE but it sadly seems these employees are limited on what they can do. Do not feed the animals properly AT ALL! 2- today a fire skink was on display for purchasing, I believe the price was $80-$100 I can't remember anyways, this fire skink has been there for about 3 weeks now. Last week the skink had form to its body, today it was barely breathing, something was sticking out of its back like a broken bone would on a human body. It has no strength wasn't even able to open its eyes. One employee I informed that this skink looks horrible, this sweet girl really seemed to care but unfortunately as I stated above I think this staff is limited on what they can do. This skink has a part of its body SINKING IN and they legit had this skink ON THE FLOOR!!! it was dying before my eyes and it was extremely sad. This skink I can guarantee will be dead within days. 3- September 17th I had to return an adult leopard gecko that I purchased for my son, she wouldn't eat at all, when I tried droplet feeding it looked like she was having trouble swallowing. I called and spoke to Jess and she told me I had to return the animal to put it back into liability of PSP and they would take it to the vet then let me know what was going on. I brought the gecko back on the 18th which was less than a week after I had purchased it, she was bleeding in her mouth and I showed multiple employees why I felt she should see a vet. I was told she was going to be taken to the vet that the owner had chosen. THAT WAS A LIE! Today September 24th SHE WAS STILL AT THE STORE, was never even taken to a vet. She is in a tank in the back of the store, with a sheet that employees write on that says " no room on floor" " sores in mouth " and then every single day since I returned her the staff circles " same" on the form as to how she is doing, then writes water/fed. Any reptile owner knows that ONE you do not leave crickets in an enclosure with a leopard gecko after a period of time bc the crickets will eat at their eyes. You can TELL SHE ISNT EATING bc there was over 10 dead crickets in the tank that she is in labeled " sic tank 1" they had vet crosses out on her paperwork which tells me she was never seen as I was told would happen so I could purchase her back. 3- a month ago I purchased an agama from here ONLY bc I wanted to try and save it. She was visibly sick, barely moving, was missing multiple toes, missing an eye, had no fat on her body at all. She STUNK so bad once I opened the enclosure she was in. She was literally skin and bones. I bought it trying to save it but knew it was unlikely. She had goo leaking from her eye, it was just disgusting and my heart broke so I bought it hoping to give it a good ending of its life if I couldn't save it. This animal was ALSO ON THE FLOOR! 4- I also purchased a baby bearded dragon from here which was my FIRST purchase here and sadly she died in less than 2 weeks. All because of lack of proper care and feeding while in this stores care. They have multiple bearded dragons housed together, sick animals on the floor, they use RED LIGHTS for heating and it is KNOWN that red lights cause eye damage to lizards and other reptiles. They feed mealworms to babies, even though mealworms cause impaction bc the babies can not digest the shell of a meal worm. They drop crickets into the enclosure and just walk away, no minding to the fact that the crickets that don't get eaten will eat at the dragons eyes and body which would cause open wounds. They lie about taking sick animals to the vet, they don't even really feed the "sick " animals bc they just drop food in and write down " fed/water" and everyone assumes oh this sick animal ate, WRONG! If they ate there wouldn't be dead crickets in the enclosure. I saw this with my own eyes today around 730pm when I was taken to the back to see MY leopard gecko who was supposed to have been taken to the vet, but yet they crossed out vet info on the paperwork. read more
