They have so many foreign products that are just absolutely CUTE! From dishes to toys, mats, clothes, just adorable and makes me realize how far behind the US market is on pet products. There are also a lot of food options to try, I do not speak Chinese but the young lady who was there was very helpful translating everything for me. She was so patient and kind. I went a little big on my purchase and she was super nice and helped walk out to my car with all my bags, as I also had my cat with me I can't wait to come back to see if they have something new again, we live in San Diego so we won't be able to visit anytime soon. But I highly recommend this little shop for your feline friend's needs. The business is located with easy access off a main road with plenty of parking! We also got some great samples of supplements to try for my kitties. Don't ask me what they are, because I already forgot but my cats DEVOURED them.

I went to Sydnee's Pet Grooming for the first time today to get my 54 pound golden retriever bathed…read moreand was quite disappointed in their lack of transparency for pricing. What I expected to be a $80-90 trip ended up turning into ~$150. When you go to Sydnee's booking portal online, a large dog bath is quoted to be starting at $75 for a dog within the range of 51-75 pounds. However, upon completion they charged me $100 for the bath. This would fall into the XL dog range, which did not make sense to me at all. I called the shop back to clarify why there was a such a huge discrepancy in price and they answered that my dog's coat is extra thick so they charge more for labor, which was never mentioned on the website. Also, I will post a picture of my golden for you guys to determine if her coat is "extra thick" or not. I think not. I also got a de-shedding treatment for my pup which was quoted to be $15. However, I was charged an extra $15 because of the "extra time"it took to do the de-shedding treatment. The bath time window they give online is 3 hours. I dropped my dog off at 11:55 and picked her up at 3:20 (they called me at 3:04 for pickup). What extra time is there? We were in the allotted time window for the bath and the lady on the phone even said that they started on my dog late so it should have taken even LESS time. At the end of the day, it's only a bit of a difference in price so I didn't give them a hard time, but I wish I had known about the extra fees that they hide in the bill. Just be wary of coming here because they will try to sneak things in! The work they do is average but the price is roughly DOUBLE. P.S. they had the audacity to show me a tip screen after I paid, which added another ~$15 on top of my bill.

On Wednesday I called at 2:30 out of courtesy and asked if I could bring my dog in for a nail trim in about 45 minutes. On the phone, they said, "Yes, 45 minutes is perfect. I will let the groomer know!" When I arrived, there was no one to greet me so I rang the bell and whoever was grooming the dogs in the back yelled out at me that she knew I was there. She asked if I had an appointment and I told her about my phone conversation. The groomer (without even greeting me in person) yelled again from the back that she would not be able to give my dog a nail trim, she had too much to do, and it would not happen today. I left knowing I would never visit this business again. If someone would treat a customer in that way, how would they be treating the dogs? No thank you.

You also get a little treat for your pup at the end. 6. They have a big pet scale so you can. Weigh your pet. 7. The biggest bonus is YOU DONT have to clean anything up like at home , they do . So for $18.00 and when you buy 3 baths you get your 4th bath FREE YES YOUR 4th bath free so that only makes your 4 baths only $ 13.50 each not $18 that's a really great deal !!! 8. My Pom, Boba, has always been nervous about grooming, but for some reason, she was the HAPPIEST I've ever seen her both before and after her appointment! That honestly says everything to me. My healthy and spunky 14 1/2 year old chihuahua suddenly stopped eating and was lethargic and…read morespitting up for two full days. I was able to get an appointment on the morning of the third day, she weighed only 5.4lbs, down from her usual 6+. The vet tech and Dr. Wang were wonderful with her and very patient with all my questions and explanations (as was the staff member on the phone the late afternoon before when I made the appointment). She was given a 10-15 minute hydration infusion as well as injections for nausea and reflux (because of all the vomiting). I also authorized a blood panel. She still didn't eat that day, but the next day woke up with a roaring (yapping?) appetite and all her spunk back. Dr. Wang called me to see how she was doing and to send me the results of the blood panel which he explained was good. He suspects it was pancreatitis and because this is the first time she experienced it at her age, he thinks it will not be chronic. Many thanks to Dr. Wang, a very patient and thorough vet, and the vet tech and staff, for getting us through this.
