I have a young pup with never ending energy and I needed a place that had flexible pickup/drop off…read moretimes and possibly open on a weekend for Daycare. I did some research and found this place, so I decided to give it a try. IM SO GLAD I DID! From the 1st day, as soon as he got into the car he was snoozing in the backseat. It was such a miracle. At other daycare facilities I have taken him to, he would still have energy at the end of the day, and it would take a bit for him to finally settle once he got home. But here at Top Paw, he sleeps through the whole night! I take him to work with me and even the staff has commented about how calm and sleepy he is after Daycare. I also love that they are so flexible with their times. Somedays I have to be at work before 4pm so I need to grab him before I go in, and they are open from 7a-7p Mon-Fri and I can drop off/pick up anytime during those hours. And they even have daycare on the weekends which is soooo helpful for when I work weekend shifts. The staff is also very welcoming and friendly. They always promise to get him nice and tired and they deliver on it. I have been recommending Top Paw to all of my fellow pup parents when they ask where I take him. He has been…read moregrooming my miniature schnauzer since I rescued her three years ago (she escaped from a puppy mill, and we believe she suffered abuse there). Previously, he groomed my elderly miniature schnauzer for five years till he went to the rainbow bridge). It takes a very special person to groom my rescue girl, with patience and care. Randy is that person. Today, it was extra challenging because my back yard has grown some prickly weeds and she was very matted with the little weeds in her soft fur. I had an appointment with her vet to be fully shaved under anesthesia, but thought I would see if Randy could help first. She came out of the mobile grooming van looking like a movie star! I am absolutely devastated by what happened to my dog under Helen's care. I trusted her to groom my…read morebeloved Bernese Mountain Dog, but instead, he was left injured and sick. She used harsh chemicals on him and left them on too long, which burned and irritated his skin. On top of that, she aggressively scratched him with deshedding tools, leaving him raw and in pain. Within 24 hours, my sweet happy and energetic dog became lethargic and very unwell, barely able to move and not eating or drinking. We had to rush him to the emergency vet, where we were told that his rash and sickness were caused by contaminated grooming tools and/or the harsh deshedding products that were left on him. I asked all the questions and double checked that there was nothing else that could have caused this and he doubled down on the groomer causing this harm. Hearing this from a medical professional broke my heart -- my dog suffered because of carelessness and disregard. No pet owner and more importantly no pet should ever have to go through what we did. I entrusted Helen with the health and safety of my dog, and instead, he was harmed and traumatized. Please think twice before allowing Helen to touch your dog. Our pets deserve gentle, safe, and compassionate care -- not to be put at risk.
