4/5 for friendly workers 3/5 for selection and organization of products 1/5 for poop overflowing trash can for the past 6 or so months round down for 2/5 stars

Absolutely worst groomers in the world. Completely ruined my Shepherd mixes coats, did not brush their teeth as paid for or cut their nails as also paid for. Completely unacceptable service, to the point I'd consider this animal abused. Coats were beautiful and simply asked for a trimmed. They proceeded to shave off their entire coat ruining the undercoat. 3 dogs ruined.

Tank the appropriate size for larger fish

Not too sure how I felt about this Petco. It was a large store with plenty of product for a range of animals along with a lot of different options of animals to purchase. With that being said the manner in which these animals were being cared for/housed was questionable. There were 3 large African cichlids being kept in a 10 gallon tank, no room for any of the fish to even turn around without bumping into one another. Along with the questionable husbandry the employee who helped my boyfriend and I did not seem to care one bit for the fish in anyway. While checking out he roughly tossed the coral we had purchased into a bag, mind you the coral barely had enough water to stand up straight without being exposed to air. Overall it was a strange experience compared to what we usually encounter at our local Petco which we truly enjoy frequenting. I do hope that this review will reach the right people, these animals deserve the best care that can possibly be provided before they find their forever homes.

Dead decaying fish with bits of fin on the bottom of the cup.

I won't be going back. I've seen too many not only dead but decomposing fish here. Betta that are clearly dying or dead from dropsy, fin rot and the like. Pellets, pieces of fin and poop literally the bottoms of their cups. When I've alerted the aquarium tech, they've always been apologetic but clearly this is a systematic store issue. Sick fish should not be on the floor. Fish should not be dying on the floor. Fish should not be decomposing on the floor. Fish should not remain in their shipping water for days. All of these things are problems that I have told employees and that have never been fixed. When greater than 50% of the stock is sick or dead, THERE IS A PROBLEM.

Took my pooch here today to trim nails at the grooming salon for the first time. The groomer was professional and efficient. It was $15 and totally worth it since he wouldn't let me trim his nails at home and they were starting to curl! We also buy dog food regularly from this store and come here for the annual Vetco vaccinations.

Petco is fine, I was in the area and I decided to get some bones for my favorite pooch as I've had difficulty in finding the bones she likes at other stores. Petco seems to have a better selection when it comes to this. They have a decent selection of dog related items I can speak too much about the other stuff since I'm really a dog person. The staff is helpful and friendly too. The store is pretty clean although I've noticed both times I was there in the morning that part of the store didn't have lights on I'm thinking maybe this was intentional due to the store getting a good amount of morning sun, so hopefully the put all of the lights on later in the day as parts of the store were pretty dimly lit.

Today was our first visit to this Petco and my daughters were very excited [about everything]! This was a Reconnaissance Mission for our daughters to "look" at some possible pet fishes and my husband and I could not help but laugh at all of the new dances my daughters created at each new animal cage! The store was decently designed and we found our way around easy enough. We do plan to visit again to actually purchase an actual "fishy".

I stumbled upon this place after visiting family. Normally we take our dog to Pet Supplies Plus…read morebecause we enjoy washing our dog ourselves. But since our dog had a butt mishap (aka we tried to trim his butt at home) we thought he needed some professional help. We called this place and got an appointment the next day. If you are new they require rabies documentation for your first visit. During the phone call, they just ask general questions on your dog's name, weight, your info, and times you can come in. In addition, they are very upfront with their fees. We told them our dog weight/breed so the receptionist gave us a range so we knew what to expect. I believe they give a range because until they see the dog, they won't know what extra things might need to be done. The day of the visit, we felt very welcomed and seeing all the dogs in the back and in the front waiting area gave our mind ease. Our dog is quite shy and a scaredy cat (except at the dog park, go figure lol). Upon checking in, one of the groomers came out saw his butt and knew he needed to be saved from a haircut got wrong. Although shy, as soon as we let him behind the gate with the groomer, he was quite willing to follow them...but very slow. They gave him a little butt trim and a very good wash that including nail trimming which took roughly 3-4 hours. When picked up he smelled so good, looked extremely happy and calm, and had the cutest bandana on him. The price we paid was less than what we were quoted on which was awesome. But this is probably because he didn't need much of a cut. We definitely plan to use this place in the future as all staff was very kind, all the dogs we saw in the establishment (including ours) were quite calm/happy/excited. The price is reasonable and I like that you can get quoted where they give you a range from the cheapest it could be to the most expensive.

Danielle is friendly and reliable and most of all - she does a great job. We always go with a short cut on our Maltese for ease of maintenance and Danielle's cuts are very consistent. Our dog always looks the same, which is a big positive in my book. Other groomers have delivered inconsistent looks when we simply wanted the same haircut. The convenience of the mobile service is hard to beat too. It's a little more expensive than service at a brick and mortar building, but it's worth it in my opinion. You won't regret going with this business for your furry friend's grooming needs. Highly recommended. ***In the post-grooming photo of my pup, he'd had a recent vet procedure that resulted in a stitch in his forehead and a partially shaved right leg. Most groomers do multiple dogs at once--and your dog sits in a cage in the meantime. Not great. Maria is working with just one dog --yours--from start to finish--so it's way less stress for your baby. I should also mention that Maria is the best, kindest, most competent dog groomer in the DMV. Full stop. If you have a small dog, don't even *think* about going anywhere else! Not only will your furbaby be gorgeously groomed, you will have the peace of mind of knowing he is being cared for by 1) someone who genuinely loves dogs, and 2) is also incredibly talented and experienced. The owner talked about how the ticket only said wash and nails. I could leave the dog there for the rest of the day and they would do it but my dog hadn't really needed it. The owner went on to say that if I wanted to bring my dog back in 3-4 weeks, she would just do just the haircut. 4 weeks later, I set up an appointment for just a haircut, and confirmed it right then and there - just a haircut. Yes, they understood. I then confirmed again when I dropped the dog off. They understood. When I picked them up, they had done a full groom, which looked fine but wasn't what i asked for. The owner implied I had misunderstood, but wouldn't address that she had said I could come back for just a cut, and she would not answer questions about why her staff had agreed repeatedly to just a cut. She just kept saying she didn't understand the confusion, and I had to pay $150 because they had done a full groom. she wasn't even aware of how much they charged for a full groom at first. She discounted 20%. Her response to me saying I wouldn't be bringing her my business anymore was, "That's fine". This business is not registered with the BBB. I recommend you go elsewhere, but get everything in writing if you bring your animal here.
