Charlie after his grooming and bath
    Najelle J.

GROOMING -- we love coming here for our grooming and bath needs. They always take good care of Charlie and Benny and provide great service. My dogs esp love Ale. Thank you!

I brought my dog to a grooming appointment, and it was the absolute worst experience I've ever had--truly a nightmare. First, I want to clarify that this isn't the groomer's fault; she was wonderful and did her best. I know she's a great groomer. However, there was a misunderstanding with the grooming manager. I specifically requested a schnauzer cut without the skirt, and I asked to have the body cut to a size 7. I guess this also applied to the legs, but that wasn't clear to me. The groomer was extremely attentive, friendly, and great at handling my dog. After dropping my dog off, I thought, "Wow, service like this is dying out." When I received a call saying my dog was ready, I was told to arrive after 25 minutes. I got there at 5:45 PM, but my dog wasn't ready. I wasn't in a rush, but when I finally saw him, I was shocked. They had cut all of his hair to a size 7, which left him almost bald in the middle of winter--that's just crazy. Again, I could see how this was a misunderstanding with the grooming manager but there was no accountability on any of the manager's ends. I asked to speak with the manager, but she was already out for the day. Instead, I spoke with Pedro, and that's when things went from bad to worse. I explained where I thought the miscommunication had occurred, but he insisted that it was my fault and that they had followed the instructions correctly. I repeatedly emphasized that I wasn't looking for a free haircut, just trying to point out the mistake. His continued blame was what triggered me the most. The first thing Pedro said to me wasn't a friendly greeting, but rather he was extremely hostile and rude, especially in front of my daughter. I don't understand how he can hold a management position in this store. It felt like he had malicious intentions and did not offer any solutions just made the problem bigger. I want to be clear: I have no issues with the groomer; I can see how this could happened and I don't blame her. The biggest problem here was Pedro. Petco, you need to address this issue. In the endI am dissatisfied with how Petco handled my dog's situation. I will not be returning with my dog and will stop shopping here. Additionally, I will cancel my vital care membership and take my business elsewhere.

This Petco needs to be renovated! To old and smelled weird. The customer service in reg was good but employees in sales floor werent helpful enough. Probably it was closing shift and it was too close their closing shift and they were trying to get done their list for closure. The store needs to be deep cleaned and no over stocked shelves because its snaking and the shelves look messy. Plenty of parking outside and great selection if items and good promotions were everywhere in store.

Fishes for my classroom. Pet Co sponsors a program called Pets in the classroom. I got a voucher for a 10 gallon aquarium and some fish. I purchased some accessories like rocks/pebbles, plants, and s sunkin barrel for the little guys to swim thru. This particular location was very helpful. I was told the aquarium needed to be up and running before adding fish. I went back a week later and picked out a few fish. A week after that, the fish are still alive. Located near Trader Joe's on Bristol. Parking is plenty but always full. Staff is friendly.

We've been coming to Reyann for a couple years. Usually we only go nail trim, the occasional bath, and maybe some teeth cleaning. I decided to get Matilda a haircut for the summer. Reyann did such an amazing job. She's so sweet. Matilda is usually very stressed at the groomers but with Reyann she's not as anxious. She looks so pretty. I hope Reyann is always there because she's the only one I will go to!

I've been taking my dog to see Katrina from grooming for over a year now and I keep coming back because she knows exactly what I want for my dog. I love her Customer service and I love how she handles my dog. He's super energetic and she knows exactly what he needs for a smooth grooming experience! Never had a bad experience with her and she's super patient with her clients.

I'd worked with two trainers, including a 3 week board-and-train program ($5,000 investment), followed every instruction, and practiced daily, yet I didn't see changes. I was managing the behavior without ever understanding what was causing it. That changed within the first two hours with Brad. He didn't start with commands or tools. Instead, he focused on the psychology behind Sunny's reactions: what was driving them, what was reinforcing them, and what I was unknowingly communicating. No one had ever explained it that clearly. That was the turning point. For the first time, I wasn't guessing or correcting blindly. I could see what Sunny was experiencing in real time and understand how my timing, energy, and responses were shaping his behavior. That clarity changed everything. Walks feel completely different now. Sunny is no longer pulls since my training with Brad, the reactive outbursts are gone, and the experience itself is calm. I'm no longer bracing for problems because I know how to prevent them. I am SO appreciative!

Great experience! We have an 8-year-old rescue Golden…read moreRetriever who developed some habits we wanted to correct and weren't able to do on our own with traditional training. A couple of these weren't terribly serious, but we felt we weren't "in charge" anymore, that our dog wasn't getting the message from whatever we were doing, and that if we didn't do something different, it could really get out of control. Brad really helped us with this, where traditional "training" wasn't working. We have two or three things we're working on with our girl, but here is the most dramatic change we had with one issue. She is very food motivated, and would beg from us at the table whenever we sat down to eat, and would be underfoot in the kitchen during prep. She got overly excited and would not settle and lie down. Brad explained we weren't communicating well with her on a dog level, so to get that communication kicked in to gear, he actually started our session not with this problem, but with making sure she would not dash out the front door when it was opened. This was to establish that we were in charge and what was expected of her. What he showed us how to do worked like you wouldn't believe. It was like a light bulb went off for our girl. What we did affected everything after that. It wasn't about dashing out the door, it wasn't about begging for food, it was about knowing what was acceptable in our pack and to look to us for direction. That night, at dinner, she went to her "spot" with a simple direction and was relaxed during our entire meal. She can now be directed to her spot and will stay quietly any time we need her to. Best of all, she seems truly relieved that she doesn't have to be in charge and that WE are. She is much more relaxed around so many other things. It gave us so much more confidence! I didn't think that what Brad taught us would work. It's quite counterintuitive. But trust me, it worked like magic. This is not dog training - it's communication with your dog. Brad answers all your questions, doesn't waste your time, shows you clearly and directly what will work. We're so thankful we found him!

Working with Vladae will!…read more We've been working with Vladae for about four months with our now six-and-a-half-month-old Golden Retriever, Coach, and it has been one of the best investments we've made. What sets Vladae apart is that he doesn't just train dogs, he teaches owners how to build a lifelong relationship with them. Every lesson leaves us with practical tools, clear direction, and the confidence to continue the training every single day. Because of that, the progress doesn't stop when the session ends. Vladae has an incredible ability to understand dogs. Watching him read a dog's behavior, body language, and mindset is genuinely fascinating. He knows exactly how to communicate with each dog in a way they understand, and it's clear this comes from years of experience and a deep understanding of canine psychology. He's also one of the most invested professionals we've ever worked with. Throughout the week, he encourages us to send videos, provides thoughtful feedback almost immediately, and is always available to answer questions or jump on a call if we need guidance. You never feel like you're figuring things out on your own. He truly cares about both the dogs and the people raising them, and he always follows through. Every recommendation Vladae has made, whether it's training tools, techniques, or daily routines, has become an essential part of Coach's development. We trusted the process from day one, and the results truly speak for themselves. (See the videos! Coach is only 6.5 months old in them.) Our puppy is happy, confident, well-mannered, and genuinely loves learning. We receive compliments on his behavior everywhere we go, and we owe so much of that to the foundation Vladae helped us build. We also had the opportunity to work with Erica, who trains alongside Vladae, and she was absolutely wonderful. One session with Erica is included in the program, and it was incredibly helpful. It's clear she shares the same passion, knowledge, and dedication that make this training program so special. Vladae brings unmatched energy, professionalism, and passion to every session. He genuinely wants every dog and every owner to succeed, and that level of commitment is incredibly rare to find. If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and is committed to setting both you and your dog up for long-term success, I can't recommend Vladae highly enough. Coach has become an incredible puppy, and we're excited to continue into adult school because of the foundation he's helped us build. We're so grateful we found him!

Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

When the incident happened with diego being grabbed by a big dog, you guys gave it no importance, since that dog continued to be in open play ( I saw him on the camera all the time ) I am surprised the staff saw diego showing teeth, most of the staff there are on their phone all the time, not paying attention while they supposed to be "watching the dogs". With the exception of a couple of people that showed cared but they were not there when diego supposedly showed his teeth. Diego is a very lovable small dog, he is not a big vicious dog, and is very strange that at Paws Chateau he NEVER shows teeth or does any of the things you said, in fact, all of the staff there love Diego, and he has fun with the other dogs. In your daycare you guys never even checked to see if he was up to date with vaccines, just like you probably don't check anyone else's . So it surprises me that this facility says they care for the animals. The truth is that you are right, digo likes to cuddle or be loved and the staff was too busy on the phone to be paying attention to him.

After just 2 weeks of board and train, he came home crate-trained, calm, and confidently dominant. The transformation is incredible. 10/10 experience and I highly recommend!

John made sure to send us plenty of pictures and videos of our Hera's progress while he had her. When we picked Hera up at the end of the two weeks, John spent time working with us and showing us how to handle her and giving us tools we could use at home. That was incredibly helpful because it made us feel much more confident in continuing her training ourselves. It's been two weeks since Hera came home, and we've already seen such a huge difference. She's so much more confident, and honestly, so are we. Her reactivity on walks has gone down significantly, and she's walking so much better on leash. She's still learning and improving every day, but we can really see the progress. We're so thankful for all the time, patience, and care John put into Hera. It's clear how much he loves working with dogs, and we couldn't be happier with the progress she's made. We'd absolutely recommend John to anyone looking for a trainer who truly cares about the dogs he works with!
