I originally went in looking for Hill's Science puppy food, but they didn't have it in stock. The staff was so helpful and gave me a sample of the NutriSource Puppy Chicken & Rice they recommend, along with some treats for my little Maltipoo, Boba. I honestly wasn't expecting much, but Boba LOVED it! The kibble is smaller, which makes it so much easier for him to chew, and he was so excited at mealtime. Seeing how happy he was made me so happy The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't pressure me -- they just genuinely wanted to help. Because of that experience (and Boba's approval!), we'll definitely be making this our go-to store for his food from now on. Highly recommend!

GROOMING -- we love coming here for our grooming and bath needs. They always take good care of Charlie and Benny and provide great service. My dogs esp love Ale. Thank you!

I brought my dog to a grooming appointment, and it was the absolute worst experience I've ever had--truly a nightmare. First, I want to clarify that this isn't the groomer's fault; she was wonderful and did her best. I know she's a great groomer. However, there was a misunderstanding with the grooming manager. I specifically requested a schnauzer cut without the skirt, and I asked to have the body cut to a size 7. I guess this also applied to the legs, but that wasn't clear to me. The groomer was extremely attentive, friendly, and great at handling my dog. After dropping my dog off, I thought, "Wow, service like this is dying out." When I received a call saying my dog was ready, I was told to arrive after 25 minutes. I got there at 5:45 PM, but my dog wasn't ready. I wasn't in a rush, but when I finally saw him, I was shocked. They had cut all of his hair to a size 7, which left him almost bald in the middle of winter--that's just crazy. Again, I could see how this was a misunderstanding with the grooming manager but there was no accountability on any of the manager's ends. I asked to speak with the manager, but she was already out for the day. Instead, I spoke with Pedro, and that's when things went from bad to worse. I explained where I thought the miscommunication had occurred, but he insisted that it was my fault and that they had followed the instructions correctly. I repeatedly emphasized that I wasn't looking for a free haircut, just trying to point out the mistake. His continued blame was what triggered me the most. The first thing Pedro said to me wasn't a friendly greeting, but rather he was extremely hostile and rude, especially in front of my daughter. I don't understand how he can hold a management position in this store. It felt like he had malicious intentions and did not offer any solutions just made the problem bigger. I want to be clear: I have no issues with the groomer; I can see how this could happened and I don't blame her. The biggest problem here was Pedro. Petco, you need to address this issue. In the endI am dissatisfied with how Petco handled my dog's situation. I will not be returning with my dog and will stop shopping here. Additionally, I will cancel my vital care membership and take my business elsewhere.

Fishes for my classroom. Pet Co sponsors a program called Pets in the classroom. I got a voucher for a 10 gallon aquarium and some fish. I purchased some accessories like rocks/pebbles, plants, and s sunkin barrel for the little guys to swim thru. This particular location was very helpful. I was told the aquarium needed to be up and running before adding fish. I went back a week later and picked out a few fish. A week after that, the fish are still alive. Located near Trader Joe's on Bristol. Parking is plenty but always full. Staff is friendly.

This Petco needs to be renovated! To old and smelled weird. The customer service in reg was good but employees in sales floor werent helpful enough. Probably it was closing shift and it was too close their closing shift and they were trying to get done their list for closure. The store needs to be deep cleaned and no over stocked shelves because its snaking and the shelves look messy. Plenty of parking outside and great selection if items and good promotions were everywhere in store.

We've been coming to Reyann for a couple years. Usually we only go nail trim, the occasional bath, and maybe some teeth cleaning. I decided to get Matilda a haircut for the summer. Reyann did such an amazing job. She's so sweet. Matilda is usually very stressed at the groomers but with Reyann she's not as anxious. She looks so pretty. I hope Reyann is always there because she's the only one I will go to!

I'd worked with two trainers, including a 3 week board-and-train program ($5,000 investment), followed every instruction, and practiced daily, yet I didn't see changes. I was managing the behavior without ever understanding what was causing it. That changed within the first two hours with Brad. He didn't start with commands or tools. Instead, he focused on the psychology behind Sunny's reactions: what was driving them, what was reinforcing them, and what I was unknowingly communicating. No one had ever explained it that clearly. That was the turning point. For the first time, I wasn't guessing or correcting blindly. I could see what Sunny was experiencing in real time and understand how my timing, energy, and responses were shaping his behavior. That clarity changed everything. Walks feel completely different now. Sunny is no longer pulls since my training with Brad, the reactive outbursts are gone, and the experience itself is calm. I'm no longer bracing for problems because I know how to prevent them. I am SO appreciative!

We were so happy with everything that we decided to progress further by sending her to his 2 week boot camp at 16 months old. That made sense to me! If it was any other boot camp I would have been nervous about my baby. I know how well Vladae treats his campers though and his focus on health and exercise. Dave is always available for our questions and follow ups, and he sends over progress notes and photos every day from training sessions. We also would ask him about problem behavior such as counter surfing or jumping up on people to greet, and Dave would target those specific behaviors as well. We also appreciated how fast and quickly they acted on our puppy swallowing something he shouldn't have, and immediately gave him some hydrogen peroxide to get him to throw it up, which saved us from extremely expensive and likely traumatic vet visits and possible surgery. Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

When the incident happened with diego being grabbed by a big dog, you guys gave it no importance, since that dog continued to be in open play ( I saw him on the camera all the time ) I am surprised the staff saw diego showing teeth, most of the staff there are on their phone all the time, not paying attention while they supposed to be "watching the dogs". With the exception of a couple of people that showed cared but they were not there when diego supposedly showed his teeth. Diego is a very lovable small dog, he is not a big vicious dog, and is very strange that at Paws Chateau he NEVER shows teeth or does any of the things you said, in fact, all of the staff there love Diego, and he has fun with the other dogs. In your daycare you guys never even checked to see if he was up to date with vaccines, just like you probably don't check anyone else's . So it surprises me that this facility says they care for the animals. The truth is that you are right, digo likes to cuddle or be loved and the staff was too busy on the phone to be paying attention to him.
