My cat
Juliana A.

I came here a few weeks ago to get my cat vaccinated and I will say I had an amazing experience my first appointment. The staff during that shift was very gentle and attentive to my cat. However, when I went to my second appointment on Saturday 12/20/25 at 2:00 pm. I had the utter worse experience to whoever was in that shift attending the vaccinations. (Not the same people from the first appointment) When I stepped in the store the lady on that shift was eating subway then wiped her face with her hands and didn't wash her hands before attending my cat. That was the first red flag to this horrible experience. When they began the check up, they noticed my cat had lost half a pound. The lady kept saying "that's so concerning" and gave me nasty stares repeating the same thing over and over. I couldn't get this feeling like she was implying that I don't take care of my cat. Then, she says my cat is "big". My cat is 8 pounds and lost half a pound. Mind you when I first took my cat for the vaccinations, I had told the people who were attending my cat that she recently stopped nursing her kittens. She no longer had kittens but was still producing milk. Obviously now she no longer produces milk and hasn't since we first took her to get her vaccines, which was four weeks ago. Then, this lady started to feel my cat's belly saying that she's pregnant and almost due. But the things is my cat has only been outside once (by our garden) and that was 2 weeks ago and is currently in heat. Besides that one time she's been indoors strictly because we wanted her to be vaccinated and then spayed, so we've been very cautious keeping her inside to prevent her from getting pregnant. But then this woman kept saying "congrats mama you're gonna have kittens." She refused to give my cat her booster shots because she didn't want to risk any defects on the kittens that don't exist. Mind you she only was feeling my cat's belly, no ultrasound or anything like that. So when that was done, her assistant was carrying my cat and didn't give her to me when they had already told me they weren't going to give her any shots. I was only given my cat back when the lady basically stopped giving me crap about what I should be doing. This is also where both her and the assistant literally looked at me up and down and it felt like they were judging me physically. I was wearing a pink muscle shirt, jeans, and a baggy sweater but I can't escape the feeling that they judging me for what I was wearing and because of how young I am. I feel like I was taken as naive for that. Then, she had asked me if my cat goes outside and I said yes. In the first appointment, I had let staff know that she's indoor and outdoor, she recently stopped nursing and all the information they needed for my cat. This is where she proceeds to tell me that that staff from the that first appointment should have asked me this question "does she go outside?" She then says "why didn't the staff ask me?" assuming that staff from the first appointment didn't properly question me. She kept assuming the worse and didn't once let me clarify, she just kept talking over me. I did let staff know in the first appointment. Again I let staff know from the first appointment that my cat is indoor and outdoor. But since that appointment she's been indoor besides that one time. When she does goes outside it's on a LEASH with me supervised. Again I would have clarified had she given me the space to do so but no she kept taking over me. Now because she refused service, I have to wait another month for her shots because of the subscription I purchased has a time frame of 4 months. For example, she got her shots then the second month she was suppose to get her second round of shots but since she refused, I have to wait another month (3rd month) for that shot. She said if I don't get the shot she needs within that time frame, I basically have to start all over and pay again. My first appointment I had already paid around $220. Needless to say, this experience has made me want to never come to this place ever again. She was very rude and disrespectful. I felt like she implied that I don't take care of cat and basically put me on the spot, bickering with the staff of what I should be doing. My cat was a street cat we found in the streets and we've been trying everything to make sure she's healthy, she has pet insurance, she is loved but this lady made feel otherwise. The lady in question had blue eyes, blonde hair, and was white. So any pet owners out there be careful, I hope you don't come here because this service was not okay.

Our baby has been going to Arianna for a few months now. She is EXTREMELY Friendly, knowledgeable & throughout with the grooming of our girl. Thank you for your suggestion on product that can help her coat. Customer for life!

I really enjoy this petco. Especially for their hamster care and selection. We bought two ham babies from here and they're both healthy hammys. The worker, i forgot her name, but she often works the late shifts. She's awesome and so patient in our inquiries.

Great experience! We have an 8-year-old rescue Golden…read moreRetriever who developed some habits we wanted to correct and weren't able to do on our own with traditional training. A couple of these weren't terribly serious, but we felt we weren't "in charge" anymore, that our dog wasn't getting the message from whatever we were doing, and that if we didn't do something different, it could really get out of control. Brad really helped us with this, where traditional "training" wasn't working. We have two or three things we're working on with our girl, but here is the most dramatic change we had with one issue. She is very food motivated, and would beg from us at the table whenever we sat down to eat, and would be underfoot in the kitchen during prep. She got overly excited and would not settle and lie down. Brad explained we weren't communicating well with her on a dog level, so to get that communication kicked in to gear, he actually started our session not with this problem, but with making sure she would not dash out the front door when it was opened. This was to establish that we were in charge and what was expected of her. What he showed us how to do worked like you wouldn't believe. It was like a light bulb went off for our girl. What we did affected everything after that. It wasn't about dashing out the door, it wasn't about begging for food, it was about knowing what was acceptable in our pack and to look to us for direction. That night, at dinner, she went to her "spot" with a simple direction and was relaxed during our entire meal. She can now be directed to her spot and will stay quietly any time we need her to. Best of all, she seems truly relieved that she doesn't have to be in charge and that WE are. She is much more relaxed around so many other things. It gave us so much more confidence! I didn't think that what Brad taught us would work. It's quite counterintuitive. But trust me, it worked like magic. This is not dog training - it's communication with your dog. Brad answers all your questions, doesn't waste your time, shows you clearly and directly what will work. We're so thankful we found him!

I met with several trainers before Brad & had little to no success in the areas we needed most, I was exhausted. Now for the first time ever, I can leave him home alone without the overwhelming anxiety and guilt that used to come with it. Our walks are actually enjoyable again, and I feel confident bringing him around friends and into new environments. What I appreciate most is that the training gave me the tools and confidence to understand and communicate with my dog better. I have my freedom back, and Cash is happier and more relaxed because of it. If you're struggling with separation anxiety, behavioral issues, or just want a better relationship with your dog, I can't recommend Brad enough. The impact has been life-changing.

We definitely recommend Andi!…read more We originally reached out to Andi for consultations regarding both of our Maltipoos, Kiki and Coco. During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and ethical trainer who truly puts dogs' well-being first, we wholeheartedly recommend Andi and Diamond Dog Training.

Our main issue was walking and pulling on leash. After our six-week training course, our pups improved tremendously. Andi is incredibly patient and has a straightforward, easy-to-follow way of explaining things. Watching Instagram and YouTube videos won't give you a well-behaved dog. Working with Vladae will!…read more We've been working with Vladae for about four months with our now six-and-a-half-month-old Golden Retriever, Coach, and it has been one of the best investments we've made. What sets Vladae apart is that he doesn't just train dogs, he teaches owners how to build a lifelong relationship with them. Every lesson leaves us with practical tools, clear direction, and the confidence to continue the training every single day. Because of that, the progress doesn't stop when the session ends. Vladae has an incredible ability to understand dogs. Watching him read a dog's behavior, body language, and mindset is genuinely fascinating. He knows exactly how to communicate with each dog in a way they understand, and it's clear this comes from years of experience and a deep understanding of canine psychology. He's also one of the most invested professionals we've ever worked with. Throughout the week, he encourages us to send videos, provides thoughtful feedback almost immediately, and is always available to answer questions or jump on a call if we need guidance. You never feel like you're figuring things out on your own. He truly cares about both the dogs and the people raising them, and he always follows through. Every recommendation Vladae has made, whether it's training tools, techniques, or daily routines, has become an essential part of Coach's development. We trusted the process from day one, and the results truly speak for themselves. (See the videos! Coach is only 6.5 months old in them.) Our puppy is happy, confident, well-mannered, and genuinely loves learning. We receive compliments on his behavior everywhere we go, and we owe so much of that to the foundation Vladae helped us build. We also had the opportunity to work with Erica, who trains alongside Vladae, and she was absolutely wonderful. One session with Erica is included in the program, and it was incredibly helpful. It's clear she shares the same passion, knowledge, and dedication that make this training program so special. Vladae brings unmatched energy, professionalism, and passion to every session. He genuinely wants every dog and every owner to succeed, and that level of commitment is incredibly rare to find. If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and is committed to setting both you and your dog up for long-term success, I can't recommend Vladae highly enough. Coach has become an incredible puppy, and we're excited to continue into adult school because of the foundation he's helped us build. We're so grateful we found him!

As he settled in my home, he became increasingly aggressive towards other people -- friends, family, and strangers alike, whether in the home or outside of the home. Sully was even aggressive towards my husband, and it felt like I was at a loss. I needed to do something before he actually ended up hurting someone. After explaining what was happening with Sully with the organization I was fostering from, they said they would need to put him down for the safety of the community. I couldn't let that happen, so I decided to keep him and find professional help. This is where John came in. After doing research online, I came across his Yelp page, where there were raving reviews of him helping aggressive dogs, so I took a chance. On his first day meeting John, Sully growled, hissed, and lunged at John. Sully tried to bite both him and me. John spent about an hour with me explaining what was going to happen and some training basics, and honestly, it was hard for me to focus because I was so nervous of Sully hurting someone in the moment. John was very patient, and showed me 5x how to hold a leash properly because I just couldn't focus from nervousness. I've never seen Sully so aggressive, and John explained it's because it was the first time someone was checking him and keeping him in his place. Sully stayed with John for a little over two weeks, and in that time, they went on ADVENTURES. I mentioned to John that Sully was afraid of water, aggressive with strangers, and other very specific things, and John made sure to tackle all of them. He sent me pictures and videos of his adventures throughout their time together. They went on a ferry, hiked to a waterfall, and so so much more. When there was a concern or something to celebrate, John was sure to communicate with us what was going on. In addition, due to personal circumstances, we needed to have Sully stay with John a few more days, and John was so understanding and accommodated us. I finally have my sweet boy back, and I see so much of a difference. He is calmer, more responsive, and he's running through my sprinklers now. LOL. It still takes him a bit to warm up to other people, but he's not as on guard or on edge as he was before. I'm excited to continue his progress at home, and I'm sure we will see John and Sara for future stays! Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of his adventures with John and Sara. :)
