This place is clean. I found some new foods for my kitten and some very well promoted foodies to try. I came in the morning so the place looked spacious when you're the only one when it opens. The attendant is helpful and my purchase was fast. It's good to find various options.

I really enjoy this petco. Especially for their hamster care and selection. We bought two ham babies from here and they're both healthy hammys. The worker, i forgot her name, but she often works the late shifts. She's awesome and so patient in our inquiries.

My boyfriend and I took in our cattle dog, Ollie, as a stray almost 4 months ago. Quick background: Ollie was found tied to a fire hydrant outside my work. Ollie is the sweetest boy, however is very reactive to other dogs and is a bundle of energy that presents as endless jumping and nipping. We have a senior Saint Bernard at home in which Ollie has been too rough/aggressive with her, even when our Saint Bernard makes it known that she doesn't want to be bothered. We tried water sprays at home and other attempts at training to no avail. We began to feel helpless as our biggest concern was his relationship with our Saint Bernard, as it got to the point where we felt we had to consider rehoming him. During our session with Brad, we immediately saw results which had us dumbfounded. Like other reviews have mentioned, his technique is not "mean," but is a firm mindset that Ollie requires. All the while, Brad emphasizes when to correct your dog and when to praise him, while stressing the fact that these techniques are not made to scare your dog, but rather establish a leader mentality while simultaneously letting the dog know that you provide love and safety. Of course, like any training, one can only be successful when carrying over these learned techniques at home, but Brad left us feeling confident and ready to continue the work. Even when we got home today, we already had seen a shift from Ollie. As for Brad himself - he is very approachable and really looks to understand both the dog and all the circumstances that come with them. You could really get a sense of how personal he is. We definitely recommend him. Thank you so much, Brad!

We definitely recommend Andi!…read more We originally reached out to Andi for consultations regarding both of our Maltipoos, Kiki and Coco. During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and ethical trainer who truly puts dogs' well-being first, we wholeheartedly recommend Andi and Diamond Dog Training.

Our main issue was walking and pulling on leash. After our six-week training course, our pups improved tremendously. Andi is incredibly patient and has a straightforward, easy-to-follow way of explaining things. She followed up after every session with detailed notes and references, which made a huge difference .Again, I cannot recommend Andi and Diamond Dogs Training enough.

Before I share my experience, I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy and support to Vladae…read moreand his family. Knowing that his wife Antonina is from Ukraine and that they have loved ones and deep personal connections in a region affected by war and uncertainty, I can only imagine the emotional stress they have carried over the years. Despite those challenges, they continue helping dogs and families in our community with remarkable dedication, and I wanted to acknowledge that before sharing my story. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and the experience I had with Vladae and SoCal Dog Training. I am a professional dog groomer, so I spend my days working with dogs and their owners. Over time, I noticed something interesting: several of my grooming clients were bringing in dogs that had undergone remarkable behavioral transformations. When I asked what had changed, the answer kept coming back the same--SoCal Dog Training. Around the same time, my veterinarian also spoke very highly of Vladae. After hearing so many positive things from people I trusted and seeing the results with my own eyes, I decided to reach out for help with my own Goldendoodle, June. June is the sweetest dog in the world, but she struggled with fear, insecurity, phobias, and noise sensitivities. In unfamiliar places, her tail would immediately tuck between her legs, and she would often become so nervous that she simply froze. Watching her struggle was heartbreaking. Our journey started with puppy training, continued through private lessons, and eventually led to SoCal Dog Training's Canine Boot Camp. Looking back now, it is honestly hard to believe how far she has come. Today, June is happier, more confident, and genuinely enjoying life. One of the most emotional moments for me was seeing her confidently running through busy public places and exploring her surroundings with joy. There was a time when she was so fearful she could barely move. Seeing the dog she has become today almost brought tears to my eyes. What impressed me most was how individualized the training was. As a groomer, I understand that every dog is different. Different dogs require different approaches, techniques, and sometimes different tools. I watched Vladae continually adjust and customize the program based on June's personality and emotional needs. Nothing ever felt like a one-size-fits-all approach. I also appreciated his honesty, authority, and surprisingly gentle approach. He never made unrealistic promises or simply told me what I wanted to hear. If anything, he under-promised and over-delivered--and that was exactly my experience. During our first FaceTime consultation, we openly discussed different training philosophies, methods, and tools. He explained the purpose behind each option and answered every question I had. I never felt pressured into anything. I felt informed, comfortable, and involved in every decision regarding June's training. One thing he told me early on stayed with me: "Come into this process with an open mind and an open heart, trust the process, do the work, and I'll do everything I can to help you succeed." That's exactly what happened. I had homework. I had to practice. I had to report back and continue learning alongside June. One of the biggest lessons I learned was that successful dog training isn't just about training the dog--it's equally about training the owner. As a groomer, I never thought about it that way before. In grooming, I do the work and the owner enjoys the result. Dog training is different. June wasn't the only one learning and growing--I was too. Looking back now, I truly feel that both June and I graduated from this program together. I also appreciated Vladae's honesty when he explained that dog training is a skill, not a magic wand. Like any skill, it needs to be practiced and maintained. That made perfect sense to me. What SoCal Dog Training gave us was a strong foundation and the knowledge to continue building on our success. One of my favorite memories was visiting June shortly before Boot Camp was completed. She was excited to see me, but after a few minutes it almost felt like she was saying, "Hi Mom! Okay, I'm good now--I'm hanging out with Vladi!" It was obvious she felt comfortable, safe, and genuinely happy. Will June ever be perfect? Probably not. No dog is. But compared to where we started, the transformation feels nothing short of miraculous. Most importantly, she is happy. She is confident. She enjoys life. And I enjoy life more because I no longer spend every day worrying about her. I cannot thank Vladae and SoCal Dog Training enough for everything they have done for June and for me. Thank you, Vladi, for giving my sweet girl the confidence to enjoy the world. We are both incredibly grateful.

We were so happy with everything that we decided to progress further by sending her to his 2 week boot camp at 16 months old. When I asked why such a good dog would go to boot camp, Vladae responded with, "Same reason that the smartest kids go to university, to become all they can be and hone their skills." That made sense to me! If it was any other boot camp I would have been nervous about my baby. I know how well Vladae treats his campers though and his focus on health and exercise. "Only the tired dog is the good dog" Thank you Vladae!

Once we came home and picked her up, Bryan made it easy to understand the next steps and has consistently followed up with us to check how she's doing. It was suggested to train with an electric collar. My partner and I were considering it ourselves but didn't know how to use it properly.
