Make sure to grab a newly cooked slice. The ones sitting around become cold and chewy

Okay variety of pizzas and I suggest you wait until each pizza comes out newly cooked because, once it sits for even five minutes or so on the counter, it is no longer hot and becomes chewy and dry. There is not much cheese and/or sauce on the pizza, garlic knots are (k)not garlicky; primarily blobs of bread with maybe a hint of garlic. I emphasize the word "maybe". Salad, on the other hand, is good with multiple add ins but not the healthiest of dressings. Cinnamon & sugar squares for dessert were the best part of the offerings here. Sodas are refillable. Staff is not engaging at all and the floors and tables could use a cleaning. The video games & bumper cars are probably tons of fun, if that's a reason to come here.

    Traditional Wings

Food was great. The bread on the pizza was perfect. Wings were a good flavor but too soft for me- even though I had them run them 3 times. Place is mainly self service once you order. Very kid friendly environment. Perfect place for birthday parties for small kids.

The proof that I was there

I'm here because my nephew wanted to come here. The kids playing with their hair while making the food. Of course I said something bc it's very disgusting. I will not come back for myself to eat. The front counter guy has his hand all in the cups to pick one up. Disgusting and of course between the texting & touching the pizza I'm grossed out.

    The werx pizza

Growing up I used to go to Peter Piper Pizza a lot, mainly for kids birthday parties or during lunch for the pizza buffet when I was in school and I've always loved the pizza from this place. So what a pleasant surprise it was to find a Peter Piper pizza near me in Dallas! I went to the Jefferson location for dinner with my husband, and my experience was great. The staff was friendly; the pizza was amazing; and there were a bunch of families celebrating their kids birthdays. Just like I remembered. Call it nostalgia, but I really do love this place. The pizza is just so delicious, I always get the Werx which basically has veggies and sausage with a lot of tomatoe sauce and great tasting cheese. Every bite is a delight for sure! And the best part is that you can stay after your meal and play games! Just like if you were a kid again! I will for sure be back to Peter Piper Pizza.

I came here because it reminds me of my childhood. It was the go to place in my hometown for kids birthday parties. I stopped in for lunch at 11am today, Wednesday. So they had just opened. I'll give them credit for not being ready at 11 on the dot. The employees were still fiddling with their hats and clocking in when I came in. Monday through Friday from 11am to 2pm offers an all you can eat lunch buffet for $5.99 for adults, $3.39 for kids 10and under. It's ok pizza. I figure people come here because of their kids not because they want top notch pizza. Go to zoli's or cane Russo if your looking to be a foodie or stuck up about pizza. You know somewhere that actually specializes in food and not somewhere that's designed for swarms of children to lose their mind in. It's located in oak cliff down Jefferson blvd so it's not the best area and you get some interesting characters coming through. It's really quiet right now. Just the terrible top 40's playlist and the arcade. I considered pulling a star as I'm typing this to a nickleback song. The place itself is very clean. I'd expect more bodily stains around from the hoards of spawns I assume rip through here on weekends, but they seem to keep it spotless. This hit the spot today. I'm not a usual and my go to for mediocre pizza buffets is cici's, but this was nice today.

The vegetarian buffet is relatively small, but nutritionally diverse and dense. Dishes today ranged from simple steamed broccoli and carrots to curried cauliflower and multiple legume dishes, to a salad bowl with a wide range of fresh colorful veggies. You will leave full and happy, I fully expect, if you try it too. The little restaurant is housed in a beautiful ornate temple, and has a lovely outdoor courtyard to dine in on pleasant days (I eat inside when it's hot or cold out.) Service is minimal, but attentive by buffet joint standards. Parking is a secure private lot and spaces are plentiful. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but you are fully separated from it if you park in the secure lot. For $15 at lunch, you will likely have your most nutritious meal of your (pick a time period), and get a free drink and desserts. Some items are available for upcharge, but I find them to be unnecessary. The vibe is temple casual and reminds me of hippy establishments I used to frequent in the 70s and 80s. I highly recommend you try it, if you love fresh vegan fare at a bargain price and want to check out the lovely temple and grounds while you're there.

Getting here was only slightly tricky, as it's not located in a strip mall or anything, but down a somewhat crummy street, in its own gated area, with a parking lot. The buffet was modest but diverse, with a fully vegetarian buffet where 90% of the options are also gluten-free. I really enjoyed the Sambhar soup, Kofta balls in tomato gravy, the spicy-pickled peppers, and the Chickpea curry. The outdoor dining area is just lovely, especially with good weather, and the temple grounds are very peaceful and enjoyable. Very reasonable price for such a relaxing and unique meal, and the staff were very friendly. My only complaint is that since we got there about an hour after lunch, some of the food had gotten a bit dry.

We went for brunch, which I will admit is overpriced. $75pp before drinks? Wow. Definitely go hungry. Were we mad at it though? Definitely not. It was my very first time going to Komodo and the first time experience was not the greatest. Before I go into my review, I did enjoy the ambiance, decor and food. The food was actually really good and the portions were decent. I ordered the wagyu beef dumplings and garlic noodles for starters. I initially chose the Peking duck and was super excited to try it. This is where it started to downhill... As we were ordering starters and drinks, the drinks came out fairly quick and the starters did take about 15-20 minutes which I understand it was a Saturday night. After most of the appetizers came out, we decided to order our entrees because we noticed how long the appetizers took. About hour and some time goes by, the waiter comes back to tell me they just ran out of Peking duck. Which was disappointing so I quickly ordered the Korean fried chicken. The timing with how they ran out the entrees was a whole mess. There were two food runners that were confused with the food orders. 1 of 8 of my friends got their food way before all of us, we had waited an additional 15 minutes before 2 more entrees came out. Oh! My second appetizer (garlic noodles) still haven't come out yet and some of my friends had their entrees....My Korean fried chicken came out but it was fairly quickly so I'm not sure they just threw it in real quick for an apology of taking so long. Two of the breasts we're hard and tough to cut. So then we waited and waited for my very last friend to get her Lo mein...it was an extra 45 minutes until she was able to get her food!!!!! Unacceptable. I was so irritated about that and just ruined the mood. We were all done eating our food by then. We were already frustrated and ready to go at that point, but as soon as she got her food, the veggies were undercooked and it was an overall upsetting situation. I wish I had a better outcome and better celebration for my birthday. I would only recommend this place if you have nothing to do..because you will be waiting for your food for a long time. I suggest to eat before you go and by the time you digest, your food will be ready

Upon check-in, we were offered a complimentary drink before heading upstairs, where we checked in again and were escorted to our table. The waiting area was beautiful and offered stunning views of downtown. My daughter ordered the 8-ounce filet mignon with a side of macaroni and cheese, while I chose the salmon steak with mashed potatoes. My daughter's steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and she absolutely loved it. My salmon was also excellent and came with a delicious caviar butter sauce that complemented the dish perfectly. For dessert, my daughter ordered the Crown Block Sundae, which came with a variety of toppings. Since it was her birthday, the staff brought it out with sparklers and "Happy Birthday" written on the plate, which was a thoughtful and memorable touch. Our waiter was friendly and courteous, but he wasn't as attentive to our table as he seemed to be with some of the others nearby. One thing to note is that an 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. After presenting the check, our waiter mentioned that any additional tip would go directly to him. I found that comment a bit unusual, as it could imply that the automatic gratuity is not fully distributed to the service staff. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and it was well worth it for such a special occasion. While the food, atmosphere, and views were excellent, this is definitely a splurge, so be prepared to spend a significant amount if you dine here.

We made reservations for Sunday brunch to celebrate my brother-in-laws birthday (he was in from out of town). When we walked in there were a bunch of people seated in the sitting area, some people were standing about the mimosa bar area as well. You have to wait for the elevator to go up so we took a seat while we waited. No one told us that once you check in, you have to stand in line for the elevator. Maybe they said something but it was fairly loud and we may have missed it. When the hostess came around she recognized that we checked in but were not in line - our mistake but we didn't know. All she had to do was direct us to get in line. We didn't need her attitude like she was exasperated with us as if we're children. We get upstairs, get our order in and start our family meal. Everything is going great, we're starting to wind down with some desserts and coffee. My father-in-law isn't a sweets person and was done with his meal. Our server came around with water but he declined since he was done. We recommended that he try a dessert we liked, which he did try. After that he needed water and asked the server for some when she came by with coffee for us. Her comment was, verbatim "I already asked you if you wanted water and you said no." My father-in-law apologized, even though he was not in the wrong here. She realized her mistake because her tone completely changed and she said it's no problem and she got the water. Her comment and reaction caught us so off guard. It ended our meal and celebration on such a sour note. This type of behavior is so off putting anywhere, but especially at an establishment like this. That being said, the food was ok. We all enjoyed the seafood station. The oysters, ceviche, and crab claws were a hit with all of us. Their bread/bagel station with all the toppings was also really good. Loved their juices! The individual dishes were ordered were ok, some better than others. The carving station was ok as well. The desserts surprisingly disappointed. Ambience is nice, view is good. As far as the staff/service goes, the only good thing about was those that were bussing the tables. They were all nice, polite, and friendly. I know this is long winded but the overall service needs to be better. It likely that ours is an isolated experience but it's the only one we have, and probably will have because of how bad it was and how we felt when we left. Everyone deserves respect, if we give it, we expect it back at the very least.
