She was really kind and patient with us, especially since it was our first time. The self serve buffet had a large selection to choose from, and they were all soooo good. Great food ordered delivery through DoorDash. We ordered the two piece dinners where you can pick any two meats and any two sides plus ordered some other sides. Only Brazilian restaurant of this style that offers choice of to go dinner meats and sides in ready to reheat great containers. The side orders, particularly the scallop potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes, cabbage salad and cucumber salad were amazing. The meats, what can I say extremely tasty and mouthwatering. We visited Texas de Brazil on a Tuesday evening around 7:30. The restaurant wasn't very busy--only about seven tables--but we were greeted promptly by a friendly host and seated right away. The staff overall was nice and attentive. The salad bar was excellent, with plenty of variety and very fresh options. However, the meats were hit or miss--some were cooked well, but others were overdone or so tough they were hard to cut. Our server was pleasant but left dirty plates on the table throughout the meal and didn't offer clean ones until we were finished. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but for the price, I think there are better options available. read more

This is the first time we visit Texas de Brazil We made a reservation after I received a $20 discount offer for first-time visitors. I had never been before, so we decided to give it a try. First, let me say the staff is fantastic; very friendly and attentive. The place itself feels classy, and the food is high quality and well-prepared. But to be honest, the food was just above average. When compared to other places like Fogo de Chão or Villa's (which costs half as much), Texas de Brazil just doesn't measure up. At around $60 per person, the price is too high for what you get. The Salad Area was okay at best. Most of the meats were good, but the lamb chops were undercooked and unimpressive, and the BBQ ribs were completely inedible. The experience was nice overall, but not enough to justify the price. I really don't see myself coming back. Also, a heads-up, using gift cards made us lose the $20 discount from the email, so we ended up paying $160 for two people after taxes and tips, and NO drinks. Service is good but sometimes they can be really busy and it is sometimes hard to get their attention for a request. However, a caution sign was only placed after the fall, and the manager did not approach me until we specifically requested their presence. An incident report was then completed, but it felt like a reactive rather than proactive response. We also requested follow-up with the manager to ensure that all details were accurately recorded, including my name, and asked if we could receive a copy of the incident report. This extra step felt necessary given the lack of initiative shown earlier. My family and I have visited Texas de Brazil for years to celebrate special occasions, and I've always appreciated the atmosphere and service. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling disappointed. On a busy holiday especially, I expected greater attentiveness, care, and regard for guest safety. Went here for my birthday on Saturday. The place is very elegant and beautiful. They had a salad bar that was so delicious! And then of course all the meat was incredible. Service wasn't the best to be honest, we couldn't get our water refilled for a very long time. I asked for lamb chops and was told it was an extra fee. Had a reservation for two people at 7 o'clock as we got there they didn't even see us till 20 minutes later and continue to take in walk-ins before us. As we are sitting there, they were making up stories that the people they were letting seated was here for the 6 o'clock reservation and the 6:30 reservation, but whatever I was vocal about it somehow they seated me immediately. Then we get to the table and the waiter doesn't even come to our table until 15-20 minutes later to take our drinks. As we ordered them he forgot about our drinks as this is a Brazilian steakhouse that's basically his only job. Halfway through the dinner we remind him that he forgot his drinks and doesn't even bring it over till 15 minutes later after he walked by our table about three times. After he asked if I wanted to refill, I said yes he did the same thing again but this time it was 30 minutes after and so I just was so fed up so I got my check. Paid the bill and left safe to say, I will not be coming to Texas de Brazil in Dallas anytime in the future. They don't care about customer service and only is attentive around when the bill comes out to ensure they have a good tip. People here are what made our whole experience on our anniversary so bad. Unfortunately, Texas de Brazil is not as good as it used to be. The service and food were both below par last night. Our server was good at keeping up with drink refills but we always had to ask for refills on the side dishes. The biggest issue was the food service. The entire night we only had a few gauchos come by with meat. Many would walk by the area we were sitting in and just pass us by or they would not come into the area we were in at all. The meat quality was also not as good as it used to be. Much of the meat was either overcooked or chewy. For the price, it would have been better to go to a steakhouse. read more

I came here with a large group for Easter dinner and was not impressed. If you get the meat its over $50 per person. If you get just the salad bar its about $27 per person. This was my first Brazilian steakhouse experience so i didnt know what to expect. The salad bar was out of bread and other items which was frustrating for a few members of my group who had to ask repeatedly for bread, etc. I asked for lemon for my water 3 times before it came. No, this wasnt me being impatient, it was them asking if they could get me anything and i patiently said, lemon for my water please. Any time we had to ask for something, we had to ask at least 3 times before it came. The servers bringing around the meat were all very friendly but it was hard to hear each other and what the meats were. Some sort of label would be very helpful since noise levels and hearing vary. I found most of the meats to not be seasoned very well and to be cold. For the price tag everything should be good temp and well seasoned. I believe i tried everything but the chicken. read more

Honestly will never dine here again. The food itself was great, service started strong, and I appreciated the free valet. But the reviews were right--eventually they stop serving you. My boyfriend and I sampled a bit of everything at first, then kept requesting our 3 favorite cuts. They never came. We even watched them walk past our table with what we asked for and serve another table after making eye contact. Multiple times we stopped servers, but when meat did come, it was well-done even though we asked for medium rare--and sometimes they didn't ask at all. What should've been a 1-hour dinner turned into a 2.5-hour wait. Cashing out was another 20-minute delay, and we had to flag down other staff just to get the check. Later, we called to ask for some kind of compensation (after paying $160), but they wouldn't even cover the drinks. They even implied we were lying, despite the reservation/check-out times and the fact that cameras could confirm our repeated requests. The food is good, but the service ruined the experience. What a wonderful time we had at Ft Worth location. Michelle was our waitress and knocked it out of the park! The food was excellent from the salad bar to the protein! The cheese bread was my wife's favorite since she has to do gluten free. There were a lot of choices of gf items. Thanks to Michelle, I got one of the last crème brûlée in the kitchen. It was hard to get meat service at our table. We had to wave them down , every single time to get meat. And some of the Churrascos at this location was not friendly . And that one lady at the reception, I told her about the mess at one of the stalls at the ladies toilet , she just looked at me and said nothing. No personality at all. She should not be working at the front. Will we come back to this location? NOPE. We'll just stay with Addison location. Or if we are in California , Irive location. Each meat we were able to try was excellent and well prepared! There is tip-only valet upon arrival that was quick and efficient. During my visit, though the food was great, the service was lacking. The chicken and sausage continued to circle, but I did have to ask twice to see different cuts of steak before we were offered any. If you are willing to drive, I would visit the Texas de Brazil in Addison. The salad bar is much more extensive and I have only had great service. read more

Had a reservation at 5pm for two and was greeted by a kind hostess. She took us right to a table in the back tight corner. The table looked very clean and sanitized. Diego our waiter greeted us. Told us some great wine choices and explained how everything worked. He said that the salad bar is now open but you just have to put gloves on before you partake in anything there. The food was great!!! I'm obsessed with Fugo De Chao but I think I might like this place better. Idk if it's just cause it's in Texas but I guess I'll have to try the Vegas Texas De Brazil out to see if I really do love it. I love it better because the flavors are just so much better on the meat. The garlic sirloin is freaking good. I'm literally salivating just writing this review. Very unprofessional tonight. Made the manager aware that there were roaches over by the potato augratin... One staff member commented that they just sprayed this past week and the other manager stated that they've never had roaches, but why are they crawling and we weren't the only ones saw it they're waiter also saw and they he removed them twice and then a third time they were crawling on the floor. First time was back in January- good atmosphere, good service and from what I remember, the meats were in full rotation. We were celebrating a promotion. This last time was for Thanksgiving. You'd think they'd kick it into high gear for the holiday special. Wrong. Less than best service, same 4-5 meats in rotation and even after complaining twice to management.. nothing. The best part was the sides this time, which is terribly sad for a Brazilian STEAKHOUSE. Ended up leaving after 1 plate. Ruined our holiday outing. This is a social distance restaurant and the employees wear gloves and masks. It's also hand sanitizer stations throughout the restaurant. The restaurant is also super clean and the salad bar, even though the customers aren't able to make their own salads due to the Coronavirus, the station is super clean. Diego the manager was very pleasant. He checked us in and made sure we were seated, ASAP. He also walked around and made sure the restaurant was running smoothly, as well as assisted us and other customers. He's an EXCELLENT manager/employee. Our waitress Kamila was very pleasant. She took our order, was fast paced with brining our food back correctly, and checked on us periodically. EXCELLENT employees. Texas de Brazil is one of my favorite restaurants. I never eat the meat, just the salad bar. My husband had the meat entrees and salad bar. My husband enjoyed the ribs, Top Sirloin Steak, Flank Steak, Brazilian Sausage, Parmesan Pork Lion, Leg of Lamb and Bacon Wrapped Chicken. We are from Miami, Florida but is on vacation for a few days. But I truly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. read more

The ambiance is really nice inside. The staff was nice. Was shocked to see Calypso being served for the lemonade, but I had sparkling water. I don't eat beef or pork but the parmesan drumettes were pretty good, not the best imo. However their fried plantains are delicious! Would recommend for the potatoes au gratin to have a bit more salt. I did use the sauce from them to put on the garlic mashed potatoes and it was really good. For dessert I had the carrot cake and the crème brûlée. Wanted to really try the key lime pie but they were out. They both were ok. The carrot cake was better imo. If I could no star I would. Went for my bff 70th bday it was horrible. There were 7 of us. The meat servers kept acting as if they didn't see our table it was horrible and embarrassing since it was my idea to go there. I went to the host once and manager twice and to our server a couple of times just awful. We finally just gave up, the waiters would server the tables around us but not us consistently. When we received our bill it was wrong the waiter actually got an attitude when I told him that both of the checks for our table were incorrectly. Had a reservation but did not wait long. First time ever in TX. The meats were good. Spicy Pichana had to be the best regular one was kinda chewy but I did ask for a rare cut since previous (fillet?) cut was too done for my liking. I figured that u have to ask for what u were wanted, so I did. Pretty good variety. Price value was good compared to the Bay. Expected more from the beef rib compared to other Rodizio's I've had in the past. Should have avoided it but the sides were good; Cheese bread/potatoes. Bananas were my least favorite, but I will usually avoid but served nonetheless. Wish the sliced grilled pineapple was served warm rather than chilled. Services was attentive and waiter was personable. Only thing is when I got up to finally try the pineapple that caught my eye at the salad bar, I had no utensils even though I mentioned it was gonna try it. Stood there for a hot minute trying to figure out how I was gonna sample it and finally just helped Myself. Maybe I was there too long or he was going on break? Maybe it was just a busy Friday night, but M and I showed up for our reservation on time and we found ourselves awkwardly standing in the bar area waiting to be seated, trying not to be in people's way. It looked like there were many people waiting and there wasn't enough space/seating for everyone to be in that area let alone socially distance. We were clearly confused and the hostesses didn't even acknowledge the situation at all. This was not a good beginning to our dining experience. Then we were finally seated. The floors leading to our table were ridiculously slippery and I had to take very slow and deliberate steps in my heels. I was second guessing myself and the shoes but M told me it was slippery for him as well and some servers agreed when I mentioned it while walking towards the salad bar. My favorite items from the salad bar were the pineapple carpaccio and the various pickles. It's crucial to have that acidity on hand as you're trying so many different cuts of meat. I didn't love the bacon (I prefer the ones at Fogo) but it was good with the pineapple. The feijoada was just ok as well. Now the meat. I normally love picanha but my favorite was surprisingly the spicy sirloin. The large cubes of beef were beautifully seasoned and seared, leaving the center red. The picanha was good if overshadowed by the sirloin. The sausage was pretty good. Flank was decent--I remember thinking it was a lot more tender than I would expect from flank steak. We skipped the pork loin and chicken breast. I found the leg of lamb to be a bit too gamey during this visit, and the lamb chops were not too memorable either. It's possible that we were too full by this point but the beef ribs showed up when we were just about to turn our cards to the red side, and we decided to indulge but it was quite dry and not too pleasant. The bananas served as a side were delicious. I didn't touch the mashed potatoes because they didn't seem exciting and I didn't want to fill up on starch. We got the key lime pie for dessert and there was a weird chemical taste, that I wondered whether it was just from the acidity of the lime or if it was from using something other than fresh key lime juice. When we were leaving, there was a huge wait for people who had used valet parking, and we were glad that we parked on the street a little walk away. I think I will probably stick to Fogo and the only things I would miss are the spicy sirloin and the pineapple carpaccio. read more

Today , not so much service was slow meat didn't come out till we asked for it and even then took another ten mins. By the manager mind you.
