Best tofu banh mi I've ever had!!! This restaurant looks unassuming from the outside, and the inside is a bit dated-- but very clean. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The stir-fried tofu within the banh mi is immaculate! Must try!!

On the outside this place looks like it's weathered years of dishing out great food! Very friendly and helpful with some items we hadn't hear of before! We ordered Phó 80 and 86 with shrimp egg rolls. Everything is so good! Ask for the chili oil. It's different and not so hot and tastes great in the soup.

Amazing food! I've never been to the storefront, so not sure of the service or the ambiance. However, everything that I've ever ordered from here has been amazing. I love the combination crepe with the lettuce, mint and veggies. The sauce is similar to a duck sauce but richer and more watery- chef's kiss . I can't say enough about the grilled beef w/ lemongrass Plat. I have to have the grilled pork and grilled chicken spring rolls every time! I would truly express for you to give them a try!

Good spot for Vietnamese food. Not many Vietnamese restaurants in this area, but this restaurant has been here for more than 30 years. Good food. Great Vietnamese Coffee (not recommended for weak people that can't handle strong Coffee, lol). 1st time I've been here. Absolutely coming back to try other dishes.

I searched high and low for the perfect bowl of pho in DFW and I finally found it. The service here is always consistent, friendly, fast, delicious. Honestly probably my favorite restaurant in all of DFW.

I love this place. It cures me of everything. They're not stingy with anything. The chili oil is made in house and is perfect. I personally don't care if I'm sitting on luxury seats if I'm having the time of my life. This place is perfect and the staff is incredibly kind. I'll always come back!

This is by far my favorite Pho in Dallas. The service is fast and food comes out almost immediately. Very authentic. Every bowl is packed with generous amounts of meat or veggies of your choice. Broth is savory and super fresh. Lots of herbs are provided. This place never disappoints. Room can be dark.

This place is my go to pho place in the downtown Dallas area. This is one of those family restaurants that you see the kids folding napkins or doing homework, son does water refills, daughter serves, and parents cook or take payment. The service here is always beyond great. The seating is dim which is so nice for solo dining and usually noise is minimal. The food is great, for their meat pho options u can opt for a smaller size. This is so nice for a lower appetite. The shrimp spring rolls ($4.55) is so huge, fresh, and has a great shrimp portion to sauce. We got the veggie and beef/tripe pho (around $10-11). Both are solid in quality and portion. As someone who loves tripe- this place does it so well. The garnishes and sirarcha/hoisin available were so fresh and plentiful. They even have dipping dishes on the side if you eat it traditionally. This is so much better than ngon and other pho joints in dallas city.

Food was good and served in a timely matter! But we had issue with flies that we had to move tables and even then we still ended up with a few over us. I personally would not come again just for that reason

Super solid pho! Nice and filling, great portion size, just right to be filling without being overwhelming. Great quality of ingredients. They package everything with such thought, including limes, bean sprouts, scallions, Sriracha sauce, etc. Summer rolls were great too! This has since become one of my to go takeout pho spots!

Updated menu showing that vegetarian pho comes with beef broth. Not ideal for vegetarians or vegans
    Melissa M.

Vegan review- Did not get to eat here. I wanted pho. The online reviews show a picture of the menu saying "tofu/veggie pho", so i assumed that it would be with a vegetable broth. We arrived and saw that the vegetarian dish came with beef broth. Being a vegan, I could not have this. We left, the staff was not happy with this.

Just finish a spring roll to find a pieces of wire mesh in my mouth. Pretty disgusting.

One of the best beef noodle soups I've ever had. The restaurant is airy, and the service is attentive.

I ordered the Pork Ba, Pickled Smashed Cucumbers, Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings, Pork Bao Zi, and Peach Dessert Dumplings. The Pickled Smashed Cucumbers with the sweet and spicy chili dressing were a nice start, but the Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings were fairly unremarkable. They weren't bad, but they reminded me of gyoza I've had at many other restaurants and didn't particularly stand out. The Pork Bao Zi had one of the better fillings of the meal. The pork itself was flavorful and delicious, but the bao bun was very plain and lacked enough flavor to complement the filling. I was especially interested in trying the Peach Dessert Dumplings because they sounded so unique. They were definitely an interesting treat, but ultimately fell a little short for me. The peach filling tasted more like preserves or jam than a fresh fruit-based filling, which made them sweeter and less balanced than I expected. The restaurant itself has a modern, clean, open interior and a casual atmosphere. One thing worth mentioning is that it was fairly warm inside, probably around 78°F. It wasn't unbearable for me, but with North Texas temperatures easily reaching 100°F+, some diners may find the dining room warmer than comfortable. Parking is also somewhat limited, so keep that in mind during busier times. Overall, I'm glad I tried Hello Dumpling, especially after seeing it on *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives*. There were some enjoyable flavors and creative ideas, but based on this visit, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations I had from the TV feature. I'd give it a solid 3 stars and will go back to try some fresh noodle entrees.

Between the four of us we ordered the roti canai -- with an extra piece of roti, since the base only comes with two, roti murtabak, two orders of the pork belly baos, chili crisp cucumbers, nasi lemak, beef haw fun, and bò tái chanh -- Vietnamese rare beef salad. Overall, the food was outstanding. I feel like the restaurant took all the greatest hits from every Asian culture and put them together on the menu. My favorite dish of the night was a toss up between the rare beef salad, the roti, and the pork belly baos. I loved how crispy and flaky the roti was and the curry dipping sauce that it was paired with was super aromatic, nutty, and rich. The pork belly in the baos was incredibly tender, well-marinated, and had a nice balance between lean and fatty parts. If you enjoy sour dishes, you will love the rare beef salad: there is enough lime in the dish to make you pucker. Every bite is a concentrated punch of flavors, and there is a nice variety of texture between the chopped peanuts, thinly sliced onions, rare beef, and crispy rice cracker. If you're in this part of town looking for a dinner spot, I would not hesitate to recommend Hawkers Asian Street Food. In addition to the solid food menu, the service and drinks were equally spectacular.

I accidentally mixed up the broth and curry so we essentially ended up with curry ramen, but honestly it was delicious so it worked out. I did not realize the ramen broth is a dashi broth, which is clear instead of cloudy, so I mistook the curry for the ramen broth. Clearly my brain was not working that night but it ended up being a happy accident. One thing to note is that they charge extra for spice levels above level 2 and the price increases with each level. We got level 3 for both items and it was genuinely spicy. You will feel it while eating and definitely after as well. Hinodeya Special ($20.70) + Oni-kara Level 3 ($1) + Naruto ($1.50) + Inari Fried Sweet Tofu ($3) = $26.20: We swapped to spinach noodles which worked really well. The naruto came in 4 big thick slices but did not have much flavor to me. The tofu came in 3 small thin strips that were sweet but I did not think they were worth the add on price. Sukiyaki Curry ($22.42) + Oni-kara Level 3 ($1) + Spicy Pork ($4.50) = $27.92: You can tell this is homemade curry because the color and taste were completely different from the store bought curry roux you typically find elsewhere. It was creamy and made from a pork stock soup which is apparently also used in their ramen. The beef was a bit too fatty for me but I absolutely loved the spicy pork. I loved both items and will 100% be reordering from here. Can not wait to try their other items too.

Our server was attentive, provided us menus and the restaurant's decor created a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that transported me back to Okinawa Japan. After traveling abroad, it is especially refreshing to find authentic Japanese cuisine in the United States, and Hinodeya Ramen truly stands out in that regard. We ordered several katsu curry plates, bento boxes for the children, and started with an order of gyoza as an appetizer. The gyoza arrived crisp on the outside with a juicy filling that we demolished within minutes of being placed on the table. The katsu curry arrived as crispy cutlets paired with a thick, curry sauce that was rich and delicious. The chicken bento boxes contained a variety of vegetables, rice and their selection of proteins. Our meal was flavorful, and absolutely delicious. This establishment also brought back memories for my sister and me of our time serving abroad in Okinawa. The rich flavors, the spicy curry, and the authenticity of the cooking made it feel like a small return to Japan. Finding Japanese food that encompasses those flavors is not easy to find, but this restaurant truly delivered. I highly recommend Hinodeya Ramen for anyone looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Dallas. It will absolutely be my go-to spot whenever I'm back in the area!
