This is a fun and reasonably priced place to bring your kiddos for some indoor play. I've been here a few times with family and their kids and everyone's had a great time. They have a pretty good pizza buffet for the price with no time limit so if your kid wants to play all day, well you can eat pizza all day. The buffet had a few different types of savory pizzas such as spicy Hawaiian and sausage+pepperoni, as well as dessert pizzas such as cinnamon sugar and Oreo pizza. They also have 3 types of salad and a few types of pasta. Drinks include soda, lemonade and iced tea. I like how the play cards have your "tickets" added to them when you play, and that you can buy either according to unlimited play but limited time, or a card that you pay to add points to. The arcade games are varied enough that all the kids were able to enjoy them. Not all of them give you tickets so be aware of that if your main goal is to redeem a prize. Go literally ANYWHERE ELSE. It's definitely not what it used to be to be. Prices have more than doubled and there's less to do. They don't even allow kids to play on the jungle Jim freely anymore. It's over $10 per kid PLUS they make you buy their ppp socks to get on to play on a "playpark" that is restricted and smaller than I can even express. We tried out the lunch buffet which is M-F from 11-2. All you can eat pizza, salads, pasta salad and Mac n cheese. Not bad for the price $10 p/p. Let me start by saying that Peter Piper Pizza has always been a favorite, even before they merged with Pistol Pete's Pizza way back in the 80s. I still like the pizza. Favorite was the PPP Special (now known as the Werks). My issue is my experience at the 48th Street and Ray location. Been going here for 20+ years. Last night was my son's birthday and he wanted PPP for dinner and watch a movie here at home. I set off for a drive to the nearest Harkins to grab a bag of movie popcorn. When leaving the house I called PPP so I could place my pizza order and hopefully have it ready after Harkins. I was greeted and immediately I was placed on hold. I was on hold for 16 minutes (my cell phone keeps track) so I hung up and called back. They answered without saying anything and put me on hold again. I waited another 10ish minutes on hold then hung up and called back. Same thing, they picked up the phone without saying anything and put me on hold. So, 43 minutes total of being on hold, I arrive at the restaurant expecting a huge line and chaos. Walked in and there is zero line. One employee is by a register drinking soda. At the other register is an employee just standing. I walk up to the Employee who is just standing idol and told her what I had been dealing with... a 43 minute hold. I showed her I was still on hold. She said "we were busy, are you ready to order"? I sensed an attitude. After placing the order I talked to the manager and told her my experience and she said sorry, we were busy. I felt no empathy. I know good help is hard to get, but having bad employees is can be even worse. For what it is, PPP pizza is not cheap, in fact it is one of the more expensive options out there. If it were not for the fact that it was my Son's birthday, I would not have purchased pizza here but I felt like I had to. read more

Here for a birthday party for my nephews daughter. Was very impressed with the clean appearance and the arrangements. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The kids had a great time and that is what we came for. My concern was the state of the games. Many were down for maintenance and there was several that would take your tokens and nothing. They were broke with no signs. The machine that gave out tokens on one occasion only gave 4 tokens for a 20 token coin. Once it was accurate on two other occasions it did not work at all. The people were very good at giving you the correct tokens when reported to them. As I said everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Management needs to take care of maintaining the game machines. I would hesitate to use them. It is not fair to have such great employees and not keep the equipment repaired. read more

For the child in me, pure nirvana! For the parent in me, reminiscing joy! We took part in the pizza and token fest for a playday! Our hungry group tried the Family Fall special, large 1 topping pizza, bread-stix and 40 tokens. We added drinks and 100 more token, glad we did! The pizza was average, not bad, but not gourmet. Did I ever think I would be writing a review in favor of this place? Heck no. As a parent to a 4 year old who loves amusement parks (my fault for bringing her to Disneyland six times already), I am always in search of things to amuse her outside of our home. The first time we came here, it was for her soccer team awards luncheon. I was dreading coming here because I am definitely not the type of mom who enjoys these sorts of events. Still, we were surprised by the CLEANLINESS and the PIZZA. Was the pizza good? No! But was it bad? Not at all. Let's say it is leagues above Little Caesars and Chuck E Cheese's and about on par with Hungry Howie's. It is pizza for kids. And whatever they put in it, it gets my kid to actually eat pizza (she prefers healthy to junk food any day). We have since been back THREE times, including this afternoon. My daughter loves the rides here and spends 99 percent of her time on the carousel, Garfield or the train. She also likes to climb inside their little jungle gym. She inevitably wants to get a prize, but having played only one game herself... she has no tickets. That's where I step in, playing all the high-yielding and quick-earning games in a hurry so she can redeem and I can get out of there! The employees are always nice, though some are a little more generous at the redemption center than others (and will round up on the ticket count). All in all, a decent place to take younger kids to play inside a/c for an hour or two. Oh - I almost forgot - it is also cheap. I grew up on PPP. Can't go wrong with taking the kids here. Only problem is their restrooms can be a disaster. Other than that we are happy.

Cardboard crust? CHECK. Sugary pizza sauce? CHECK. Screaming kids everywhere? CHECK. I give Peter Piper Pizza 5 stars because I was once a screaming kid. My parents would bring me here for my birthday and I would bounce with excitement. I ate the pizza and seriously thought to myself, "It doesn't get any better than this." My mom stacked the quarters on the table and I played midget skee-ball until I felt like I tore my rotator cuff. The incessant dingdingdinging of the games grated my parents, but put me into a zen-like trance. Sort of like old women at a casino. Peter Piper Pizza was the stuff dreams were made of. Now, I think it sucks. But I'll be damned if I don't take my future kids there when I want them to stop bugging me for an hour. Come and find me in a few years.
