Immaculate vibes for a speakeasy but as a steakhouse. We had a very decadent meal and it was so savory. The meats were cooked to perfection and the drinks were delightful. Topped it off with some creme brûlée bread pudding. Will be going back.

My hubby has been wanting to give this place a try for a while now as he loves trying different bourbons. We decided to have a belated Valentines dinner here on a Monday evening. Reservations were easy to get on OpenTable. We even adjusted the time with no issues. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entry way is super cute and so is the seating area next to the bar. The vibe is pretty spot on for a speakeasy type place. Absolutely loved the aesthetics and atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Kim was hands down one of the best servers we've had anywhere in a while. She was incredibly sweet and helpful with recommendations for drinks and food and shower us some of the more specialty type bourbons on the bar etc. I chose a bourbon sour make with Woodford and it was perfectly balanced with a nice hint of bourbon Hubby chose a couple of different old fashions and they were spot on. For appetizers we chose fried green tomatoes and the French bread. The fried green tomatoes needed a little salt other than that they were huge and the breading stayed on and was light and crispy. The French bread was basic and probably wouldn't get again. I tried the soup which was white cheddar broccoli and cheese. It was pretty good but not worth the price considering you can get a salad that is bigger and cheaper Hubby got the Caesar salad it comes with a creamy anchovy dressing with a fried cheese topping The fried cheese was amazing and if you don't like anchovy don't let the keep you from getting the salad it's really good. Main course I chose the Australian Wagu strip steak. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fat was rendered down and added to the amazing flavor. I would order again. Also comes pre sliced on the plate. Hubby ordered the filet it was slightly overcooked but it wasn't a deal breaker being that it was filet. There was nothing outstanding it was just like any other filet. We split the white cheddar Mac and cheese It was creamy and more than enough to share in fact we brought some home. It could have used salt as well. Dessert we split the chocolate cake and each of us ate a couple bites and brought the rest home. It's not as rich as you would think. The crunch on the bottom adds a nice texture. Then they brought out a nice surprise of 2 fresh baked chocolate chip cookies which were amazing and should be a menu item Overall amazing experience and will definitely return Perfect for a nice date night.

My boyfriend took me here as a surprise for my 29th birthday - and it was amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect date night spot as it is dim lighting with a quiet atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc and my boyfriend got the Joseph Magnus as our drinks. We both loved our drinks! The bread appetizer was amazing - and they rotate out the butter every week. Ours was the garlic and herb, which we loved and asked for extra of. Our waitress said the week before it was honey bourbon butter. The sides are shareable for 2-3 people. Our filets were nice and tender, and we added the C&C Steak butter option to each. Our dessert was on the house since it was my birthday, and our waitress was so nice. I would love to go back again for our next special occasion. Highly recommend!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance 10/10. Beautiful moody romantic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stayed at nickel plate hotel just a short walk to cross the street. Food was great. Service was good as well. I had eye of ribeye medium cooper style it was a tad over done more like medium well. He had filet and I will get that next time he gave me a bite and his was definitely more succulent. I also had the roasted beet salad I swapped the maple vinaigrette for blue cheese and it was delicious. We also had the lobster cocktail which is amazing, def prefer over shrimp. His Caesar salad was great too.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was cozy and intimate which was a lovely touch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking isn't great around there, so best of luck. Service was fantastic, the bartender that night was friendly and attentive! She was our waitress as well and really killed it with how busy she was! Cocktails were perfect, and the food was great. I will say I was a bit disappointed in the doneness of my steak, it was definitely overcooked which isn't what I expect for an expensive cut from a steakhouse. I would say it's another average, slightly overpriced Fishers restaurant. Not something I would go out of my way to try, but might return if I'm in the vicinity looking for a nice cocktail and a snack.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]CC is a beautiful, subdued, and elegantly small restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While the menu isn't particularly inspired, the selections are fun and appealing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance creates a quiet, romantic setting--though it's quite dark, lit mainly by small table lamps that do their best to soften the shadows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The décor throughout the dining area is refined and tasteful, but the bathrooms feel like an afterthought--simple and purely functional. The contrast is surprising. Instead of the soft, branded hand towels you'll find at HC Tavern, Harry & Izzy's, or Prime 47, CC offers basic brown paper napkins from motion-sensor dispensers. The food was wonderful. The service was timely and attentive. A good dining experience overall so please, give them a try! [[HIGHLIGHT]]But I think CC is still trying to determine their identify. Quiet/Classic? Plush/Pampered? Vibe/Trendy? High class/Energy?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is an upscale restaurant with a cozy feel. It is perfect for a date night or a girls night out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went alone so I sat in the bar in a booth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar area is pretty small and the booths don't leave much space between your body and the table. They are kind of tight but if you can fit the seating is comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the 8oz wagyu burger medium. The burger is char-grilled, topped with white cheddar, aioli, caramelized onions, thick bacon, house pickles and lettuce. I'm generally not a lover of pickles but these we delicious. The burger came with a side of fries which were just ok but the burger was one of the best I've ever had. Without saying I will definitely be back. There was also a special surprise with the service. At the end of my meal I was presented with a homemade cookie that the staff makes for the guest.

My husband and I made reservations and had dinner at Cooper & Cow on a Friday night. Cute little place with very attentive staff. We started off with the French bread and crap dip for appetizers, they were both delicious! I had the Midnight martini that was really good. If you like coffee, you will love it! I ordered the bacon & potato soup that was really good as well. I ordered the chicken with mashed potatoes for dinner, while my husband had a steak and Mac & cheese. To end the night, we went with the bananas foster and it was amazing! We had a great dinner and a wonderful experience here and will definitely be back!

Had reservations for Fri 1/10/25 to celebrate the Hub's bday. Originally for a party of 6 at 6:30, but we turned into a party of 12. When I called for a bigger table (about 2 weeks beofre the day), the manager Matt said they could take a group that large at 8:30. Yay! Well, that Friday turned out to be the day we got 10" of snow. And, although we live fairly close, most of our dinner party was coming from the Southside, Avon, and even Bargerville. So our party of 12 ended up just being me & the hubs. We kept the restuarant updated throughout the day, and they were very nice about it. (Turns out, our waitress told us about 80% of tables cancelled that night becuase of the weather.) So, with just the two of us, they said come anytime, to we got there about 7:30. We were seated in a little booth on the bar side. At the time, we only saw 1-2 other parties in the dining area. The decor and atmosphere is dark and cozy. (Dark enough, in fact, that phones can be helpful reading the menus. And my food pics are darker than normal becuase of the lighting.) The offerings are $$$ but the service and the overall vibe is much more casual. That being said, our server was friendly and talked to us about some of her favorites from the menu. On her recommendation, we got the crab dip. Very creamy and lots of crab on top. We also got the bourbon beet salad, a pretty dish with two types of beets and pears with goat cheese and pecan streusal. Hubs is an old fashioned fan, so he got their Cooperage. I had a glass of cab. I ordered the braised short ribs, tender slices that came with cheddar polenta and crisp burssell sprouts. This was plentiful enough that Itook hallf home. Hubs had the chilean sea bass, a nice sizeable piece over a tomatoe buerre. He was in heaven with it. We also got a side of drunken mushrooms. Dessert was coffee and their bourbon chocolate cake, beutifully layered and light. Everything was done to perfection. Dinner came to $198 before gratuity. Would definitely be an enjoyable evening to reconienve the larger group for a nice meal. #yum #ReviewsByRL

We went on Friday evening around 6pm. It started empty but by 8pm all tables were filled. Our waiter was very attentive and service was great overall. Food was excellent. We really enjoyed NY strip steaks. Flavor was good and cooked to perfection. Background music was easy on conversation. It's a great spot for a date night.

Decided to switch up our weekly date night and try out Cooper & Cow a new steakhouse located in the Nickel Plate District. Upon entering I was pleasantly surprised. The vibe is dark and moody. I really love the decor and it feels very intimate. We were greeted and seated immediately. We started our evening off with a few cocktails. I tried the spicy margarita and my husband had the old fashioned. We both really enjoyed our drinks and took this as a good sign. We ordered two appetizers the Crab Rangoon Dip and the Short Rib Arancini. The dip was served in my opinion burnt. I asked the chef if it's usually served this way and he said it is charred. It didn't matter as it was disappointing. It lacked flavor and missed the mark. We did however absolutely love the Arancini. My husband enjoyed it so much he ordered a second serving. For our entrees we decided to try the wagyu burger and the Short Ribs. My husband's burger was served well done even though he ordered it medium and the fries served with his burger were so salty he was dusting salt just to eat them. My dish was unfortunately too salty I wasn't able to eat it. I'm someone who usually over seasons so be warned. The Brussels severed with the dish were lacking in flavor. The entire entree just felt sloppy. I'm not sure if we just went on a bad night or what. Our server and the staff were wonderful. I'd go back to enjoy the ambiance and a cocktail not the food.

We were graciously greeted by two pleasant hosts and shown to our table after a short wait. As soon as we were seated, I was given a birthday card and well wishes. Shortly after, our waiter, Eric, came by to introduce himself. He wished me a happy birthday, told me to save room for dessert because it was on him and then proceeded to tell us about the history of the restaurant, the food they specialize in, the night specials, and his recommendations before taking our drink order. Eric really made the night special for me with his professionalism and obvious pride in the restaurant. He is truly top notch and we will ask to be seated in his section when we return and I highly recommend him if you desire great service. Now the food... Eric recommended the Oyster Rockefeller and Calamari for starters. They were both delicious! For entrees, I had the prime strip steak, fries, and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium and seasoned just right. The sides were good as well. My husband had the ribeye, mashed potatoes, navy bean soup, and wedge salad. His steak was cooked to perfection and he absolutely loved his chosen sides. My daughter had the king crab sushi roll, which she rated a 7/10. Now, on to dessert. Eric told us his favorite is the key lime pie. I love a good key lime pie so I ordered it. In fact, I always order key lime pie if it's on the menu where ever we dine. Of all the pies I've had in recent years, it was the truly the best with perfectly balanced key lime with a brûlée-d top. My daughter had the coconut cream pie and my husband had the bread pudding. We all agreed the desserts were scrumptious. We had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has a great vibe, service was brisk without a single thing being overlooked. I really had a great birthday dinner! Thank you!

Some were quietly relaxing while others were catching up over drinks. The coffeehouse-meets-cocktail-bar aesthetic is well executed and gives the space a distinct personality. I ordered the nonalcoholic Basil Needs a Break, and it was excellent. If you like basil, this drink definitely delivers. It was bright, refreshing, and very basil-forward. The service was friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was the temperature inside. It was nearly 100 degrees outside, but the bar felt warm with very little air circulation. It was almost refreshing to step back into the muggy heat after leaving, which probably isn't the feeling you're hoping to give your guests. I'd definitely come back for the drinks and atmosphere, but I'd hope for a cooler temp next time.
