He welcomed my husband and me before we were even locals. While we were vacationing and mentioned we hoped to move here, he immediately started asking around to help us find a rental. After we finally arrived -- exhausted, overwhelmed, and staring at a giant U‑Haul with no help -- Kyle stepped in again. He found someone to unload it, a sweet kid who also cooks there, and his kindness meant more than I can put into words. Every time we've seen Kyle, whether at the bar or out in town, he shows the same genuine care for people. He doesn't just run a bar -- he builds community. And Lorraine, the longtime waitress, is incredible. She's one of the hardest‑working, most thoughtful servers we've ever met. She remembers people, pays attention, and somehow manages to be everywhere at once while still making you feel like you're her only table.
