Saw this place riding around downtown and decided to stop in. The restaurant was very clean and had a very authentic Philly look to it, inside and out. I asked the employees their opinions and they gave me honest feedback on what they thought about the food there. This was hands down the best Philly that I had when I was in Philly for the weekend (1 of 5). There was a perfect amount of cheese, just the right amount of meat and they had Herrs chips which pair perfectly with Phillys in my opinion!

Pete's! I went to the one location nearest to broad street cause I was so hungry after a cocktail party. It looked like your run of the mill kind of pizza shop. Gus, coowner of the shop, was working that day. He recommended the Nutella Sugar Knots cause I was craving dessert. Then I realized I should probably get food food so ended up with the vegetarian quesadilla. Then when I checked in Yelp gave me a free cookie (yes Gus! It is the correct location the cookie comes up for...not the grays ferry one!) The cookie was average. Pretty big and full of chunks. I wish it would have been warmed a bit. The Nutella Sugar Knots are pretty solid! Full of confectionery sugar on top. The knots are very soft....might be better to make it a little crispy on the outside. The vegetable quesadilla was very good. I really liked how it came with a salad and I think it was the perfect amount of greens mixed with cheese. Overall the food is average at a 3 but the experience of watching Gus deems this place a 5. People make a restaurant and seeing his love for the restaurant was exciting!

During a recently trip to Phlly a friend recommended we try this place. And I'm so glad they did. The pizza was beyond good and I'm still dreaming about the exquisite crust. We also really liked the vintage diner feel on the inside. We were debating getting a small or large, and I'm quite happy we got the bigger one because once we started it was hard to stop - it tasted so great.

One of the best pizzas in the entire Philadelphia area! We had a large pizza for two and it was a great atmosphere with a very welcoming family vibe! They also were featured on the food network for there strombolis

I had the cheese steak and it was very delicious! I had the one with like 3 or 4 different cheeses. If feel like that was too much cheese for me. I asked which cheese was most popular for the cheese steak sandwich and they said American cheese. The meat was just above average but fresh. The bun seemed homemade. I added hot peppers, lettuce and mayonnaise. I give this cheese steak a 7.4 out of 10. If I had only had the American cheese I am sure the score would had been higher. I liked the Ambiance it was pretty cool. You can eat inside. The server had below average customer service. Seemed to have an attitude. I do recommend this restaurant.

Don't. Just don't. The crust is the worst part about this pizza, not tasty at all. They put many toppings on the Pete's Famous Pizza however there is something off about it honesty I think it is because the Pizza itself is so horrible your just eating toppings with a mess of cheese that is not warm for there delivery orders. I was feeling extremely lazy and saw this place delivers beer and wine hence why I ordered from here but to say a Coors light was the highlight of this order well yeah, epic fail.

It was actually a birthday dinner too, Maria and Mariangeli were treating Chef Dionicio and me for our birthdays, so we were already looking forward to a good night, and Fiorella definitely delivered. We sat outside and honestly, that might be the way to do it. Really nice setup, relaxed South Philly atmosphere, good drinks on the table, good food coming out, and you're just hanging out with friends. Nothing felt rushed. We ordered a bunch of things to share and try. The arancini were great, and the pork belly & octopus skewer was probably one of the more interesting things we had. I wouldn't normally think of putting those two together, but it worked. Then the pasta came out. The ravioli with lamb, peperonata and caciocavallo was really good, and the rigatoni with Fiorella sausage ragu was one of those dishes where you keep going back for another bite even though you're already getting full. And don't sleep on the focaccia and olive oil either. Simple, but so good. We definitely weren't letting that go to waste. Drinks were great too. They have some interesting cocktails instead of just the same stuff you see everywhere, which I appreciated. The staff also deserves a shoutout. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but they gave us space to enjoy ourselves. That's a big thing for me. When you're having dinner with friends, you don't want to feel like you're being pushed through the meal so they can flip the table. By the end of the night, it wasn't even just about the food anymore. We were outside in South Philly, eating some really good Italian food, having drinks, laughing, celebrating two birthdays and just enjoying each other's company. Those are the dinners you remember. Big thank you to Maria and Mariangeli for treating Chef Dionicio and me, and to Chef Dionicio for putting us onto Fiorella in the first place.

I love this European feel. Up first, I had a $17 El Noe. I was hoping for a strong burnt mezcal taste, but nope. It seems like only Florida gets this drink right. The drink wasn't bad at all, but I was just looking for that burnt taste. I also had a $18 Dirty Pasta Water Martini, basically a dirty martini. It was fine, but it came in a micro grass which was kind of weird. Clearly this isn't a place you come for cocktails. Now, onto the star of the night, the food. Up first, the $16 Spring Salad. Loved it, hit the spot. Also, had the $17 Arancini. I really liked those little balls and especially the dipping sauce. I had the $26 Rigatoni. It was absolutely phenomenal. I could go eat it every day. My mom had the $24 Tonnarelli and it was also top tier excellent. The flavors, the atmosphere, the staff, everything here is top notch. The Internet did not let me down. I'm so glad I decided to book this restaurant. I had a wonderful night.

If none of those appeal to you, your only alternative is to choose a pasta with a standard sugo (tomato sauce). There are also a couple of sandwich options, but those are limited as well. There's little to no flexibility--if it's not on the menu, they're not likely to accommodate substitutions or custom requests. That said, the two young men I encountered were both professional and not snarky at all in relaying the limitations. It was what it was. I went with rigatoni in sugo, topped with grated Parmesan. The pasta was excellent--perfectly al dente, and the sauce had great flavor and consistency. Authentic and well-prepared. That said, the downsides are hard to ignore. The portion was relatively small, and with a bottle of Italian soda, the total came to $22.58--closer to $30 with tip. There's also no complimentary bread. Focaccia is available for $5, but it didn't look particularly appealing (a bit dark and overly crisp), though I didn't try it. Pros: * Delicious, authentic Italian pasta * Perfect texture and well-balanced sauce * Clean, attractive trattoria setting Cons: * Very limited menu (pasta and a few sandwiches) * No customization or flexibility * Price feels high for the portion size * No complimentary bread Overall, a tasty experience, but the limited menu and value may not work for everyone.
