Omelette with smoked salmon and cappuccinos

My friend and I came here for brunch. The lady at the register was very nice! We ordered two cappuccinos and 2 omelets with smoked salmon. We requested no bread, so we got a salad on the side which was very nice. We were sitting outside and the tables were a little crooked, and one of the coffees spilled. The lady up front was very understanding and made us a new one, with no problems. The coffee and omelettes were very good!

Charming local Cafe with everything French. They have an amazing selection of quiches, pastries, breads and more. The menu includes breakfast items, sandwiches and lunch items. Breakfast sandwiches come with a small salad, which I have experienced at other French cafes. The aroma of baked goods and butter welcome you when you enter. There is also seating outside. Come support local, eat well and enjoy!

Such a lovely place with delicious coffee and dessert. My 10-year-old daughter and I came in around noon and got pastries and a latte. The staff were kind and welcoming. We finished our croissants and shared a spectacular passion fruit mousse cake. One thing I would advise the staff is to not bring out a mousse cake that we ordered to have "later, after the croissants" until much later since the mousse melts. But that's super minor. We had a really great experience! And the perfect heart on the latter was such a nice touch. Thank you!

    Cafe - bland and unimaginative.

On vacation and looking for coffee. Coffee was decent. Crepe was good and saved the review. Blueberry pasterie tasted thawed from frozen. There was costco/sysco type boxes in the back visible so don't believe they make their own baked goods. Overall was decent but uninspired. Maybe they're new?

I loved this little French Bakery / Cafe in a very unassuming location next to the Good Will store. I am a big fan of small local businesses serving up great food and this gem certainly hit the mark. I found them online searching for a local french bakery. Their website was wonderful and the food did not disappoint.. The pastry case was filled with many delicious looking choices along with several quiche. The menu was as expected, not very big but plenty of options for breakfast or lunch/brunch. I noticed the quiche served with a fresh salad. There were also crepes on the menu and some pasta dishes listed on a counter menu inside. I had a difficult time with my decision but opted for a spinach and feta croissant and a cafe latte, both were excellent. My boyfriend felt the same about his almond croissants (he went back for a second) and his great cup of coffee. The location is hidden in a strip center, but worth the search for the level of food served inside. It is quite small and tight! There is a cute outdoor patio to enjoy in cooler weather. The service was a little slow to heat up pastry and make our drinks although very much worth the wait. I am looking forward to trying a lot more pastries, sandwiches, all the quiche and crepes!!

    Ham and Brie Crepe

Beautiful day for another ham and brie crepe - My goodness! The outdoor seating was great and its always great to see the staff here - they are so nice!

Best French restaurant in Deerfield! Everything is delicious. I go their almost weekly for their quiche and croissants. My favorite is the ham and cheese croissant, which comes with a tasty side salad of arugula. My favorite croissants are the almond and chocolate, both buttery and fresh. Besides the delicious food, the service is amazing. The French ladies are super sweet and helpful. It's always a pleasure to visit this place.

What in the world happens to restaurants smh.. this is just completely disappointing. I ordered a tuna sandwich. Tuna tasted like it's been left out all day along with rotting vegetables. Wtf is this? How is this even acceptable?

We had a good lunch here today. It's a small place on the corner of the goodwill shopping strip. Inside is bright white and yellow decor. There are 3 tables inside and another small one outside. Gary -- on his first day here -- was holding down the fort alone. Preparing the food; serving; taking phone orders; the walk ins; and collecting payments, etc. So although it took a bit longer than we wished to have lunch, we were sympathetic. I ordered the chicken and Brie sandwich. It came on a baguette. The Brie was melted. It was very good. My husband had their spinach quiche -- the du jour one. It was a pie wedge and served very hot. He said it was just okay. For dessert we got two mini apple turnovers to try. They also were fine. They should do well for a pastry and a morning coffee. Or an afternoon snack or pick me up. I'm glad we went. Now we know.

incredible house-made croissant make the ham and cheese and eggs inside sing...

to-die-for croissant, now I have to order *other* baked goods... fantastic, hot, light, breakfast sandwich with light salad to go with. explosion of fresh flavors with the light dressing on the salad; the croissant was like a stick of butter - extraordinary, literally. would HIGHLY recommend!

Here is where you can find me most mornings now.... The most delicious crepes and cappuccinos. You can see that Chef Karim takes pride in making his beautiful pastures. He's always there with a smile. I haven't tried eating lunch there yet but if it's anything like breakfast, it's got to be outstanding! Located in Deerfield Beach next to the UPS and Goodwill store in a strip mall, but don't let the location fool you, this is a world-class bakery! #crepe #frenchbakery Open 9am-4pm

Unfortunately, on my most recent visit to Le Val de Loire, the French family were no longer owners,…read morewhich was already disappointing. In addition, the reservation I made for 6pm wasn't necessary as the restaurant was void of diners and mostly stayed that way. The waiter/host was very cordial. The interior of the restaurant remains the same, which is a positive. Our waiter remained attentive and available when needed. As for our meal, it wasn't completely up to par. Two fillet mignons were more rare than ordered; the mashed potatoes had a strange taste, which could have been the seasonings; the pastries were dry and the Tiramisu wasn't Tiramisu. Another disappointment was no employee spoke French, however, the interior remains lovely.

It is the kinda place you want to have lunch with friends. I stopped in to check out the pastries on display. I like croissants. The pastries all looked good. They are all a good size and price. You get your money's worth. They have a menu listed on top. I ended up getting two pastries. They both tasted great. I wish I had gotten the coffee. It is something I want to come back and try. The service was friendly. The staff was helpful and professional. I liked that they smile. It made a good impression.

Tradition French Restaurant. Oui, oui!…read more My foodie friends--this is worth your time. From the moment you step into Tradition Restaurant (not to be confused with the kosher spot), you feel it: warmth, elegance, and an inviting French charm. Tucked into an unassuming location at 626 Federal Hwy in Deerfield Beach, this place quietly delivers on every level. The room is effortlessly elegant--white tablecloths, a single red rose, softly glowing table lamps, and modern wood slat walls creating a refined yet relaxed ambiance. Owners Chef Eric Heintz and his wife Anaïs have crafted a truly authentic French dining experience. Eric runs a beautifully orchestrated, high-level kitchen, while Anaïs manages the front of house with grace--engaging guests and seamlessly supporting service. Seventh-generation French culinary heritage, rooted in Northern France, shines through in both skill and soul. This is fine dining without pretense--deliberate, refined, and perfectly paced. Now... the food. Every dish was stellar. We began with appetizers: The Goat Cheese Salad--a seared goat cheese ball presented like art, surrounded by vibrant chive dressing--was as beautiful as it was delicious. The Soupe à l'Oignon Gratinée rivaled the best, crowned with perfectly roasted Gruyère. And the Escargots de Bourgogne--wild-caught, swimming in parsley, garlic, and butter--were exceptional. Sweet, tender, and begging for bread to soak up that green garlic sauce . Then came the mains--and wow. The Half Crispy Duck à l'Orange was spot-on: crispy skin, moist breast, subtle sweetness, paired with fresh vegetables and a comforting potato gratin. The Dover Sole Meunière, deboned tableside, was delicate and elegant, enhanced by a light champagne sauce and some of the creamiest mashed potatoes I've ever had. The Slow-Cooked Beef Short Rib Bourguignon was rich and hearty--bacon, onions, mushrooms, and deep, soulful flavor in every bite ‍. My Florida Yellowtail Snapper with champagne sauce was a standout, topped with crispy taro root for texture, served alongside ratatouille and decorative taro chips--simply magnificent. And yes--we shared the Pommes Frites Maison: hot, crisp, and irresistible. Despite being full, dessert was non-negotiable. The Profiteroles (my favorite) were light, buttery, and filled with sweet cream, finished with warm chocolate fudge. The Handmade Apple Tart was flaky, buttery, gently sweet with just the right touch of tartness. Have I piqued your interest? I hope so--because this is a winner. Yes, it's a splurge, but absolutely worth it. Celebrate something special at Tradition and see for yourself. Easily one of the best meals we've had since arriving. Bon appetite!
