I took my daughter for a cut and style. She is a minor and I am the one paying. The stylist took her back to wash her hair and did a conditioning treatment without asking for my permission or reviewing the price with me first. When they came back to the chair for the cut I asked what the price of the cut would be because there were no prices listed online or in the salon. The stylist said it would be $30 for the conditioner and $65 for the cut and style. Then when the cut was done she told me that they don't accept cards for payment. This is also not posted anywhere online or in the salon. The stylist was also on her phone and rude and dismissive throughout the entire service. I will not go back. read more

I do not recommend this salon if you are looking to get a perm. I asked for a specific curl and ended up with dried, damaged hair by Rosie. Upon the damage I was offered a treatment free of charge but did not gain any results from this. I'm now having to spend more money to repair the damage that's now going to take a couple months to regain. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.. read more

I found Lorena through a Yelp search and I am not disappointed. I have gone with her twice already and she's always incredible at what she does. I love how she takes her time to make sure everything is good. My hair is very stubborn with bleach and I have gone to other places in the past where they tend to over process my hair but Lorena is very attentive and is fully focused on my hair. She is the best. Very pleased with this salon! All I care about is a hair stylist who listens to what I want and does a great job and Magda delivers! I had a pixie that looked a little too male for my taste and she helped feminize my look. She also let me know what she would do to improve my look during my next visit. Don't expect to walk into a salon that looks like it and its stylists came straight out of a fashion show, which seems to be the trend these days. There's too many salons that reek of snobby stylists and the need to be fancied up when you show up for your appt. I have gone to Jeanine R various times throughout this year as she was referred to me for a color correction ( red to blonde is tricky to DIY). Not only is she professional but very efficient all of her work has come out better than I'd hoped for. She is very talented with color as well. I've been having her dye my hair various colours ( they're long lasting) and whenever I go to her for either a touch up or a color change my hair is amazing. I've never experienced any breakage or hair damage, I've actually been able to grow my hair out even through the lightening and color process. I highly recommend her! I tried to make my appointment with the owner but she couldn't see me so she assigned me someone else. I got to my appt on time and when I got there I was told that the person I was expecting wasn't going to do my hair. I told the hairdresser what I wanted done and she just flat out told me told me it couldn't be done. I was kind of surprised because I know for a fact it can be done, it's just time consuming and is a process. All I wanted were highlights and I told her that I hadn't dyed my hair in 9 months. I know for a fact there are ways to get it done but it really just seemed like she didn't want to do it. So I told her to forget it and just to cut my hair. I tried to spark conversation throughout my visit and everything was just short. She seemed like she was in a bad mood. I walked out really disappointed and ended up making another appointment somewhere else and getting exactly what I wanted, what she said couldn't be done.
