I happened to be out of town a week agon and my wife called me and said our lab was not getting up. I called a Veterinary hospital and they reffered me to pets to vets. I called and scheduled them to come to my house to take my dog charlie to his regular vet. They gave me an estimated time and arrived earlier than they expected. We were so glad that we were able to take charlie to his vet as he was in serious distress. They had a driver and another person and took charlie gently and safely to his vet. My wife met them at the hospital and said they already had charlie in the back before she got there. Imagine the nightmare of waking up to find your 100 pound German Shepherd paralyzed and unable to get up. That's what happened to me and loading him into the car seemed impossible. I called Pets to Vets and Alex was able to come on short notice. He was experienced, caring, and loaded Max into the van with no pain and no problems. He got us to to the vet right on schedule and waited there to take us back home. My best pal is doing better now and Alex has made 2 new friends for life. I highly recommend Pets to Vets. I hope that nobody has to go through what I went through.. My cat was dying and we would have done anything to keep him alive.. We sought out this pet ambulance while he was on oxygen and was notified it would take an hour for them to arrive.. Our cat died while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.... The driver caught us in the parking lot to obtain the cvv code from my boyfriends credit card in order to charge us..... MINUTES AFTER OUR CAT HAD PASSSED AWAY..... This is shameful.. How would you feel.... People who are supposed to be helping you... And they charged us $175 when our cat had died before they were even able to get to him... read more

Our cat, Boots, was having terrible difficulty breathing on his own after surgery at ASG in Glendale and had to be transferred to ACCESS, another specialist in Woodland Hills. He needed to be continuously ventilated manually until they could get him on an automated ventilator. Pets to Vets was the recommend service to handle the transfer. Gillian and Her partner were on time, very professional, very caring and made the transfer smooth and safe as they continued ventilating our boy on the 25 minute drive. Mans best friend, and our familys very beloved scamp passed last night. Jan 2, 7:45 in the evening. Not a happy New Year, we didnt know what to do. He was too heavy to pick up for a couple of disabled people to take anywhere and it was dark and cold outside and dam it was hell for us. So based on recommendations from our Vets evening number we called Pets 4 Vets. 2 of the sweetest people you could wish for at such a moment showed up at the promised time. Obviously animal Lovers down to their DNA. They made the arrangements to take him where he would be held until the disposition of the remain. Before taking him they made sure to ask us if we would like to say goodbye one more time for our own sakes. Very thoughtful and sensitive to the familys needs, dont hesitate to use them. I whole heartedly recommend Pets to Vets although they didn't actually transport my dog. My wife and 4-year-old son were returning from overseas with our 6-year-old pomeranian named Hachi. Because making her connecting flight and simplifying her travel was of concern, I contacted Pets to Vets to have them clear Hachi through customs and deliver him to her at the terminal where she needed to catch her connecting flight. Working with Bruna via text messages, email and phone they were able to arrange for a customs broker to handle the customs and a driver and vehicle to deliver Hachi to my wife (eliminating the need for my wife to leave the airport) and enabling her to make her connecting flight. In the end, Hachi arrived as excess baggage and was collected at baggage pickup by my wife along with the rest of her luggage (so he didn't need a customs broker or transportation to be delivered to my wife at another terminal). After receiving the flight information, Gillian, the owner of the company, notified me that their services weren't going to be required as I originally scheduled and prepaid for but could still be provided only if I really wanted it so my credit card wasn't charged. I had just gotten home from work and had an emergency with my cat and needed to take him to the Animal Hospital right away. My cat is extremely skittish and afraid of strangers and he will NOT go in his crate. I have tried multiple times to get him in the carrying crate to no avail. I called Gillian in a desperate state of panic, as I needed to get my cat to the animal hospital right away. She came right over and within 10 minutes had my cat in his crate so I could take him to the animal hospital. She was so incredibly nice, helpful and professional. A+ for service and compassion. Pets to Vets was an enormous blessing during the very end of our beloved French bulldog's life. Our dog was confined to an oxygen chamber at a canine cardiac specialist about 45 minutes from our home, and had reached a point where euthanasia was the only option. We did not want to put her down far from home and apart from our other dog who was her good friend. With little notice and on a Sunday, Pets to Vets transported our Daisy home in oxygen. She had a very comfortable last car ride with constant attention and monitoring and care. Can not tell you how much I love these guys! I needed help getting my big boy (who is about 100 lbs) out of my car after his leg was amputated. It had been a couple of very stressful days since he was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer & I was told he needed to have his leg amputated to save his life. So needless to say there were a few details that I had not counted on or planned out ahead of time. He didn't really want to get out of the car because of all the heavy pain meds, but then after a few hours, I knew I needed to get him out because I wanted him to go potty. I had not walked with him yet with his new harness & sling so I didn't really have the confidence that I could do it. I started to get scared that I would hurt him by puling his stitches or worse, drop him. What I really was looking for was someone who had a vet tech medical background & someone was strong, but who would be gentle & caring with my boy. That is what I got!!! From Brenda scheduling everything on the phone, & Gillian having her call me back, and to Ian who showed up to help me, amazing!! Ian was so nice & very concerned. He kept reassuring my Boy that he would be ok. At 4am, my son and I had an extreme emergency needing transportation for our beautiful Ruby from an under-equipped 24-hr animal hospital to our surgeon's facility. I am so happy I found this service. I rescued a cat from a shelter, who is very skittish and still very scared of everything. When I had to take her to the vet a few months ago, it took me and my boy friend 2 hours of chasing her around to put her in a crate. I can cannot describe how much stress that caused to me and the cat. When the time came to go to the vet again, I was looking into getting a professional to help me, rather then trying to do it myself. I called a few Pet Taxi Services, and Pets to Vets were by far the only one who assured me they will be able to handle my cat and will put her in the crate. I am not even worried about the actual transportation part, just getting her to go in a crate is the hardest part. Lori from Pets to Vets came out to help me, it took her 2 minutes to handle may cat. She helped me twice, and both times there were no problems. I can not thank the owners enough for providing such a great service, most pet taxis would only deal with "manageable" animals. I used this service today to get my 10 year old golden retriever to the emergency room. They were very professional and got my baby to the vet with a minimal of stress on her. This service was a lifesaver for me because my dog couldn and there was no way I could get her into my car. I was concerned that even with a neighbor helping, we'd hurt her more. Going from the US to Australia, you are not allowed to book your own pet travel and are required to book through an IPATA approved firm. We tried to work with several pet transport companies that were approved but most responded with ridiculous quotes that were not itemized and included services that we did not need nor request. It was getting extremely frustrating until we contacted Pets to Vets. Bruna was responsive, thorough, friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed and didn't try to trick us into things that weren't necessary. If you are ever in our situation, there is really only one pet transport firm you should call...these guys! read more
