When dropping him off I told the person at the counter not to shave him totally and the girl looked at my friends account on the computer and told me that she understood because there were notes saying how to clip him. My friend came at 4:30 to pick up her dog and was told they hadn't started working on him yet! She waited 30 minutes until they were done. When they brought him out to go home it was a real chop job, the ridges from the clipper were visible from the side it was obvious that certain areas were shaved unevenly. The hair on the head and around the ears was chopped with no attention to detail. She was shocked and spoke to the owner about how awful the job was and asked for a partial refund, at least for the tip given. The owner said she would get back to her and never did. I have clipped and shaved my own dogs at home and know I could've done a better job!

I was called and told she had hookworm She's now on medication Since they are highly contagious called to let Animal house know and they said sorry to hear that No no one else has reported hookworm. .My dog's only contact with other dogs is there. Plus I believe others should have been notified to.test their dogs.I do know from watching their camera that their kennels are washed down but in open social areas anything can happen.

My dog doesn't even look back at us when we drop her off here. She enjoys her day here. I appreciate the photos that are posted of my dog's day at day care. I was in the area for a month and needed boarding and daycare during the month. I felt safe leaving my dog here while I was out of town. The boarding service was so great we decided to bring her for daycare. The price and service are exceptional compared to a few overpriced places I've used in major metropolitan areas with me leaving wondering if they even know my dog's name. We also booked grooming here after boarding. They did a great job. We have also used their "refresher" service after a daycare day. I highly recommend. $25 and my pup came so fresh and so clean, clean.

It wasn't until we were in Jacksonville (away from family & new to the area) that I found myself needing to board her. After WEEKS of searching different facilities, I choose PAWVILLE. Saying I was a MESS leaving her there was an understatement. I cried leaving her. The facility was beautiful, well kept, secure & the staff was friendly (again, just me being an over protective parent). I Bella stayed for 6 days. I received pictures of my baby and the staff was patient with me, when I'd call to check on her. Needless to say, I cried ALOT when I picked up my baby. She was happy to see me and she was fine. A lil confused, but she was fine and well cared for. I ended up using PAWVILLE a.few times while we were in Jacksonville. Fast forward 4 years & back in San Diego I recently rescued another dog & need to board him (here we go again). My thoughts, "its San Diego, this will be easy." The bar PAWVILLE instilled in my needs for boarding is beyond measure. I miss the facility & the comfort I found in knowing my furchild was safe. If you are…read morelooking for a place that has grass and pools for them to jump in, this isn't it, those things can't be properly sanitized easily between uses. The kennels are indoor. Each kennel is separated by cinder block with chain link on the front, which they clean regularly. You can bring your own towels, not beds, for your dogs. Towels only because they wash them. They take your dog(s) out at least 2 xs a day in the outside, cemented kennel to play. Our dogs were taken out 3 times because they didn't gave many other dogs in the kennel at the time. If you have two dogs you are able to put them in the same kennel, which is nice. I also like that it is attached and owned by Dr. Sheegog, so if something happens while they are there the vet is right there. Note they have a very strict flea and tick policy. They check you dog when you sign in, so be sure to have them up-to-date on their flea control (like you should anyway).

Remus got to come home with us for the last time and it truly felt like it.

They take quite some time to respond, sometimes days. If it's an emergency, I advise to go to Academy Hospital or Coastal Vet Clinic. You will receive a text where you can contact them. Make sure to bring a proof of rabies certification on your first visit otherwise, they will make your dog get another shot at their clinic for $15.

This is due to this shelter's neglect. A puppy with a fractured/ broken leg isn't cared for properly and isn't noticed? I don't believe that the shelter did not inform us before adoption we found out from a vet after he started whining and not using his leg and we got x rays. The vet told us how his leg was very improperly healed from a 3-4 week old fracture/ break that was never treated. That time frame is when the shelter had him and they did nothing. They had no knowledge I'm not sure how they didn't when they neutered him and did that surgery. Just by feeling his leg you could feel the difference this poor puppy now needs an invasive surgery and they are doing nothing and won't help. All they said was they would take him and give us back the adoption fee. That is horrendous. Why would we give him back when their neglect caused this. They had no remorse and offered no financial help or emotional care. Do not trust those people.
