My pup and I have attended training classes and loved them. The instructor has been very patient with my crazy puppy and she has learned so much! We have recently started using the doggie day camp, and she loves it there as well. I like that there is a video monitor so you can watch your pup as they are introduced to the room. The Pet Hotel knowingly accepted my Labradoodle for doggie daycare with an outbreak of kennel cough/bordellella. She is very sick and Banfield will not even treat her despite the fact that they are her regular vet. We had to take her to Blue Pearl veterinarian for treatment. Been with Petsmart for 11 years. One time at Okalona store, they nicked my dog Max leg and he was agitated. I took him to the Hurstboune store and everything was fine. Now they have given me 2 different stories at the Westport rd store why they wouldn't allow him to the gooming department. First they said the last time he bit someone, i was never told that when I picked him up. now they said they he tried to nip at the clerk Amanda. my dog would never bite anyone or nip at them unless they hurt him. I tried to go back to the Westport rd store and the Manager Robin never called me back. I had to call them back after several days and the store manager Rodney was worthless and couldn't make a manager decision without checking with someone else.. If your manager, put your big boy pants and make a decision and take care of your long time customers. Terrible experience and Petsmart is going downhill.. I hope you don't have any stock with them. If you do, sell now. read more

We took our pug here while we were out of town for two days. Since we picked her up Sunday she has had diarrhea non stop. My boyfriend and I both work 9-5 jobs and now we have to not only come home and clean her and the poop up, but take off and pay to take her to the vet. They said they fed her only the food we brought, but I have a bad feeling she had gotten something else. I called to ask the supervisor if she may have been fed something else, and she said no.. That she was probably having adjustment issues... She has been boarded and watched by other people for over a week at a time. We have always done our shopping and grooming at petsmart, but after this $84 stay and coming up get bill, along with all the mess in our house, not to mention a sick little pug, we will never step foot in there again. read more

While the employees and selection are outstanding, the main problem in this store is the maintenance. The handicapped stall in the restroom was out of order and there were ZERO paper products in there. Furthermore, the floors and sinks had mold and crusty dirt. There were used feminine hygiene products laying on the sink (bloodied) and the floor appears not to have been mopped down in months. With the PRICES of the items in this store the least they could do is hire a janitor or cleaning service to clean the dirt and grime on at least a weekly basis. Very bad business and reflects on PetSmart's opinion of their high-paying customers. read more

When I first got my puppy I brought him to this store. One of the associates walked me around and was a lot of help to me. She helped make sure I got everything I needed for my pup and it was very appreciated. I also have used their daycare service which my dog seemed to enjoy. I really like how you can see the dogs interacting together. I am a bit overprotective of my little guy but I felt he was in good hands! read more

I made a grooming appointment for my 2 miniature schnauzers as my regular groomer was booked. I can't really rate the grooming because we never made it that far. I let them know that one of my dogs was on anxiety medication for the grooming, just as an FYI. I was then told that they couldn't accept him because of the medication. I've never been turned away from any other groomer for this. If I would have read all of the terms and conditions before, I suppose I would have seen that, but really? If it's important, they should mention it to first time customers, just like they do with the vaccinations. They weren't even going to ask me about medications; guess I should have kept my mouth shut. read more

The store itself is fantastic but the groomers is just awful. A few years ago we had our pup groomed there and she came home covered in cuts, I said never again. My wife just took her back and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. We got a call that our Lucy needs stitches, they cut behind her ear, her coat has many different blade lengths, long hairs throughout, she's just a mess. I am so grateful for their help! I took my baby, Karma, here to be groomed. After a horrible experience elsewhere I explained how scared I was to leave her with anyone for grooming. They listened so carefully to my concerns and had her in and out in about an hour. In addition, she came out with a BIG beagle smile, prancing to me, looking absolutely beautiful!! She even had a PetSmart bandana around her neck that just made me smile so big!! I couldn't stop smiling all day, looking at her with her new bandana. Her fur felt like a puppy again!! The staff was so kind. I really feel so relieved that I have found someone that cares as much about my Karma as I do. I just moved to Louisville and sincerely appreciate all their help! I am sure Happy Hounds will delete this ( I will write other reviews elsewhere) We went to Happy Hounds to have a temperament test for our two dogs in hopes that we would find a new "camp". We moved here from Nashville where they frequented camp, they loved going and the staff loved having them. We were here for literally 3 minutes when one of my dogs barked and growled at another dog. The manager quickly removed her and told us they were not welcome there because she is violent. I have been around a lot of dogs and know that they can be a little protective when they are in an unfamiliar place. If she would have given her more time before shoving multiple dogs at her, she would have settled in and had a great time. This manager rushed the whole experience and really over-reacted. I hope she was not turning us away because we are a gay couple. I have never used this card but the whole situation was extremely awkward! read more
