My boyfriend and I love this PetSmart. We actually don't shop here often but bring our dogs for training and like to walk them around the store on non-training days. Ashley Q is the trainer that leads the classes and we love her! She's knowledgeable, is open to questions after class and spends the time to chat if she doesn't have back-to-back classes, and always provides great tips if you're looking for different options to approach a situation. All the staff at PetSmart we see around the store are very nice. Even when we see them three times a week, they always greet us and always ask if we need help. HORRIBLE GROOMING CUSTOMER SERVICE BY VAL and the groomers. First of all, they reschedule me couple times before i go. I went in, i had a muzzle on my dog, first thing i went in she DID NOT EXPLAIN anything and just said they have to reschedule her appointment. I have No Clue what she is talking about , then she said cus my dog has muzzle on. To be honest, if she explains well and in a better attitude, i would not be that pissed and i would just reschedule the appointment with no dope. But she just keep saying. Nope Nope Nope, it is violating the policy. I looked it up, and there is no policy saying that dogs cannot be on muzzle when the walk into the grooming area. I asked her to show me the policy, she just said "I told her nope" and she said we cannot tell you all the policy we have. I was like huh ? If customer didn't know, and the policy is not public to customers, how could you refuse the service just by saying no. I totally understand that they could refuse taking services due to their own safety, but at least explain and say sorry we have to reschedule. But Nope , that girl Val just straight up say Nope you have to reschedule and the workers rolled their eyes at me. The groomer even said VAL is the manager in that facility for 20 years. I was like girl, this location is only opened for 5 years. My other dog been in this location for grooming since the delta shores location was opened. He never had any biting history or accident in that location, but then the groomer today said my dog was trying to bite her, so she couldn't take him. I dont know what she did to my dog, but I was like oh my god, are you serious. Seems like they dont want me to be there, i was like okay fine. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. This is my first time bringing my dogs to this location on a weekend. And i don't know if these groomers ever trained for customer service. I would not feel safe bringing my dogs to these groomers anymore. But we love CIERRA in this location. I think she only works on weekdays, she is the best groomer in the location, she is very sweet and my dogs love her ! But sorry that we will never ever be taking my dogs to the delta shore location. read more

This place is usually pretty good; especially Malinda. However, don't take your dog to be washed and brushed by AMBER. Not only did she arrive late looking hung over, but I could've done a better job instead of wasting over a hundred dollars on bathing and brushing my dogs!! She didn't even brush out their legs! This place is full of really friendly employees. The store is always well stocked and update frequently with seasonal products. Four stars just because the grooming salon can be hit or miss. 3/01/21@ 2:30 p.m: Wow, I just discovered they banned our pets from this PetSmart grooming location. After the person on the phone hung-up on me midway through the appointment scheduling, I called back to discover the truth: When I visited the previous month; I arrived 20-minutes early for the appointment and they refused to take my two Pomeranians "ahead of their appointment." I'm an advanced practice RN and was dressed in my scrubs for an upcoming appointment. It forced me to cancel as my upcoming patient load would not allow me to return later or simply "wait" as the groomer suggested (we slated my wife to pick them up at the appropriate time). What a surprise to find after using PetSmart for several years they now banned us from this location. Sorry groomers, there are a lot of fish swimming in the sea and many other hungry dog groomers. You might reconsider turning business away so frivolously. We now doggy bath elsewhere and have our dog food deliveries scheduled through Amazon. Why do we need PetSmart? Where's YOUR next paycheck coming from? Just say'n! read more

This is the new PetSmart in the new Delta Shores Shopping Center. Everything is bright and shiny. Newly designed store similar to all other store plans. I drive by this place on I-5 Hwy on the way home from work every day. I decided to come check it out. Everything is very neat and tidy. I didn't thoroughly check the store out. I was on a mission! I needed the Science Diet canned cat food!!! I didn't see very many people. I will assume the entire shopping center is still a working progress and will be up and running full speed soon. They sell all kinds of different brands of cat food! Same goes for the dog food. They also carry supplies for rabbits, fish, birds, hamsters, snakes, and much more. Lots of animal beds, shelter, toys, and much more!! They also have the store reward program. No more little plastic cards to carry and swipe!! It's all tracked by your phone number. That's how you receive your sale priced items!! I like that they allow you to bring your fur kids in. They provide cleaning stations so the boo-boo's can be quickly cleaned. They even have it outside, too. The young employees are very nice and courteous. They greeted me from when I first walked in all the way to the back of the store where my cat food was stocked, I received more hello's!!! I will be back to check the rest of the store out soon!!! PetSmart's new Delta Shores location opened a couple of weeks ago and I'm totally impressed by the great customer service. Everyone was welcoming and knowledgeable. I talked to one of the employees about a product I was looking for and he knew so much about it and recommended similar products. I typically run into the guy who offers to help but just started and doesn't know where things are located or isn't familiar with the product or product selection. I primarily go to PetSmart for their grooming services and at this location, it's so convenient that the grooming department is located at the front of the store. I'm able to pick my boys up, get in line to pay, and be out of there in minutes. It's a new location so everything is bright and shiny; super clean. Their shelves are fully stocked and it seems they may have brought in top performers from other stores to either work there or train the new employees. Looks like a great start! read more

This store is huge. They have a great selection of pet supplies and food. They also offer a grooming Salon and pet training. Small animals and tropical fish are for sale as well. The service is awesome walk in the store and someone will immediately ask if they can help you find anyting. I can't think of anything bad to say about this store. Took my Samoyed here two times & not really satisfied with the service. /-: Got a puppy bath the first time & they shaved the areas that were matted (we were first time sammie owners & were unaware that even if matted, you should never shave their fur but comb it out slowly). Second time coming (today), we got the bath services ($43) + top dog add-on ($18). Bath also included scissoring feet & pad shaving, but when I got home her fur was long & untouched at her feet! As for the add-on services, the lady at the counter said that teeth cleaning was not included when it obviously states so on the website. My dog came out looking ok, but was still a bit wet. Would recommend only coming here for a pup bath since they're only $15 for pups 5 months and younger. It's good as an intro for pups, but that's about it! read more

Do not let your Dogs in the hands of Angel at the Delta Shores location. She pulled so hard on my dogs neck collar to get him to walk that he flipped. She is very aggressive with dogs and even more aggressive with people. My dog has come to get his nails trimmed and cut here multiple times but she seemed to not be able to do the service because he was terrified of her. Dogs are aware of negative people! I Refused to let her service my dog and as a customer I refuse to be treated this way. When asked for her name she became hostile with me next and made sure to spell it for me. If anyone doesn't know how to spell Angel it's "A-n-g-el". I hope Ángel has a better day than today and probably should rethink about working with dogs and people. Thank goodness for the manager Brad! He was very empathetic and even gave my doggy some treats for the scary experience. read more

We dropped off our pup for his first grooming at an actual grooming place, before this we cut his hair on our own. He was there from 10 am to 1pm but for a whole month he didn't want to go out on walks, he wasn't as playful as before, and he growled at us. I give this review 2 stars because of how clean it always is. Other than that, the poor animals that they sell are in too small of cages and the Syrian hamsters are often housed together (which they shouldn't). The birds are usually piled on top of each other because there just isn't enough room. Petsmart is a million-dollar company and they can't invest in bigger cages for their animals?! During the pandemic, they have also not helped stop the spread of COVID-19. There are always so many people in the store, that it's overwhelming. I think they should limit the number of people to be in the store at one time. I have been wanting 2 fancy mice for a while, and I usually call to make sure they are there. They are never there. When I go into the store, there are almost no animals there. I know it's not their fault because they don't know when they are getting their shipments, but I just find it a little bit agitating. I don't have a dog so I can't talk about the grooming services, but I trust what the other reviews are saying. read more

I went in today to buy some items for my puppy. While I was there I asked the cashier if I could just make my appointment while I was already at that location. I was told it would be fine. I walked In and she didn't say anything . There was another customer in there and as I took at step closer she was very rude and nasty about asking me to wait which I would have done if she greeted me in the first place. I had already spent my money and just decided to just leave. I totally understand that everything has to be social distanced, but there is a right and wrong way to speak to paying customers especially because it seems like this is a recurring issue based off other reviews. Dogs have been ready from their grooming appointment only to be left in the back for HOURS. they claim they call and leave voicemails yet we have nothing. Adam the manager was a condescending prick who needs to go back to a school and learn some manners. Talking down to me as a woman is not only humiliating for YOU but completely classless. Hope he can sleep at night knowing what a horrible example he sets for his staff. I am shocked this guy even made it to become a manager. If he was my employee he would be fired on the spot. Completely inexcusable behavior. Groomers have no customer service and my dogs came out fully panting and under distress. Warning do not go here Ps look at all the grooming reviews on here. We went for the training classes. We got a new dog who is a little dog & very nervous. Ashley was absolutely fabulous! I cannot say enough good things about her. She was very helpful in addressing some potty concerns we had. We worked really hard to get him to lay down but he just wouldn't do it. She gave us lots of helpful tricks so he'd be comfortable to do it & still passed us because he made progress. She really cares about making sure the owners get the knowledge they need so everyone can work with their dog. read more

Our dog Jackie is what some might call neurotic. She likes everyone she knows and she is slow to warm up to those she doesn't. (It may have to do with the fact she was left in a box overnight as a puppy) Emily, the amazing groomer sat with our dog for an hour on the floor while Jackie had the nervous shakes, sniffed Emily and eventually let Emily hold Jackie. Emily also recommended these calming treats which worked out very well. I know she couldn't have been an easy dog but Emily did a wonderful job and took such good care of our pup! This review is solely for Matt in the grooming department. We started at this Petsmart when they first opened. Our girl Bella, who had been very shy and not used to monthly visits to the beauty parlor was introduced to Matt, who is the PERFECT person to work in a grooming department, she LOVES the animals, always giving us a report card with the specifics of the visit ( what was done, how Bella behaved etc) it always and I mean ALWAYS included a sweet note about how well behaved Bella was. Yesterday sadly was Matt's last day at this store, we will miss her, I know Bella will sure miss her special care and love, I'm thankful we got to say goodbye and wish her well in her new job! Petsmart, you lost a GREAT employee! We have moved from the area and even though it was a bit of a drive we never minded the drive. We have found a new groomer close to our home. I took my pup here a few months back as Florin was booked out quite far, he was groomed by Tori I specifically asked he be cut with the "Teddy Bear" style per usual. Ashley Q , who is by far one of the Best Dog Trainers I have run across puts 100% into the Dog Training Classes. Went through the Puppy and Intermediate classes so far and our dog "Peanut" is a different dog and much more enjoyable on walks, plus has the basics of sitting , staying, staying when told until released and so forth . I took my dog to get groomed for the first time at this location. They were very flexible because I was running late trying to find my dog's rabies certificate. They were still able to get my dog in even though I was a little late. Kelly did great with my dog and said she did really well. Bronwyn is amazing! Our dog had a previous grooming experience that left him traumatized with a horrible haircut. This was his first groom since then and Bronwyn restored our faith. He was nervous when we first dropped him off and she got down to his level and calmed his nerves by petting him and talking to him.
