Normally, I come in here the staff is very friendly and will greet you. Today, the cashier was surly and hated her job. Instead of smiling and asking how I am, the first thing she said was "phone number." Her voice is so low I could barely hear her. She never cracked a smile the entire time. Never looked me in the eye. No thank you nothing. Handed my receipt and I was on my way. This is right around 4 o'clock today. I usually take my cat to a different groomer but decided to try this location. My cat is generally very cooperative during grooming, so I was surprised by the experience here. Customer service was just okay. I wrote down a specific number to call, but they used a different number on file, which ended up interrupting my partner at work. On the voicemail they said they couldn't finish drying and brushing him because he was acting "crazy". Also when I first made the appointment I selected the full haircut option and the employee laughed at me and asked if my cat needed to be dematted because otherwise they would have to completely shave him. Not sure if I just caught them on a bad day or what but I have never been treated like this at a Petsmart. They weren't able to fully dry or brush my cat. While I understand that cats often don't tolerate drying (and my regular groomer usually doesn't finish that part either), they are always able to complete the brushing, which didn't happen here. So I basically paid for a bath and brush, but didn't get the full service. Staff running the checkout and the man who let me in were friendly but grooming staff was less then satisfactory. I understand that not every visit will be perfect, but overall I didn't feel comfortable here and won't be returning. If you have cats I wouldn't come here. read more

I came in to see if I could find some dog food that doesn't have all the fillers like to well known brands at your local store. There were rows and rows of different types and brands of dog food that I had never heard of. Prices were on the expensive side. My head was swimming with all the choices. Of course there wasn't any customer service around to help if you had a question. Pretty uneventful. Besides the basic pet supplies, the best part of this place is the pet hotel. Our dog is pretty shy and we have used this place more than a dozen times to watch our dog. After the first couple times he was there, as soon as we pulled into the parking lot he knew where he was going and couldn't wait to get there. all I wanted was a goldfish but they would not sell me one because I had 1 other goldfish in my 20 gallon tank. BUT they can have 100 in a small tank and sell Betta fish in a 4 ounce cup. I feel comfortable bringing my dog for extended stays here at their pet hotel. There is someone there 24/7 and the dog rooms have higher ceilings whether you get a dog suite or not, which is nice so your pet isn't cooped up in a small kennel during the night. During the day they have at least 5+ hours social times with other dogs and the staff takes care to put my dog with smaller, less rowdy dogs that she preferred. They are well taken care of by the staff. I like knowing she is stimulated during the day with activities while I'm away...Take advantage of their coupons... read more

Tried to get my dog grommed with a nozzle like we always did in other stores and never had a problem, they said they cant do it even with a nozzle and suggested calling a vet and sedating her, refusing service is a right and they can do it any time they see fit, but two things, sedation is dangerous and the pet can not awake after sedating and also not indicated to do one after another, because she needs grooming about every month, now what do we do if we are not professionals to do it in our homes, does dogs that had a troubled past with humans in the past and thus bite out of fear wont get the benefits of being clean? The lady at the grooming place touched my dog's paw and told me that his ENTIRE skirt was matted and that we would need to reschedule. If she would've felt him completely and make that judgement based on a thorough examination I would've believed her, but she only touched his paw. I went in to buy my cat a harness and leash. PetSmart had a very small selection for cats ; however, I found the most adorable harness in the puppy section. I then went on google to see if I could find a better price. I honestly don't know of any local stores that don't price match their direct competition like "Petco for example." I like supporting local stores instead of going online, and I've never known a store to not price match a legitimate claim. So, I ended up finding the same leash on Petco's website for $13.00 dollars cheaper. It was the same model, brand, colour, and serial number. "A perfect match"; However, this PetSmart claimed they don't price match unless it's off of their own website. They have officially lost my business. And I advise you to take your business elsewhere as well. For three major reasons 1) slim, picked over selections for cats 2)clearly overpriced. based on how much cheaper the product was at other competitors websites 3) horrible customer service, and not willing to do legitimate price matching. It's not only financially worth it to drive down the street to a competitor, and I'm sure you'll be happier with the service as well. read more

I have no idea what has happened but this place has gone extremely downhill since I boarded my pets here a month ago. I have boarded my dog and cat here over 10 times and it's always been a great experience. However, today I just picked up my dog and cat and my dog is covered in pee stains all over his legs and feet and poop stains smeared all over his butt and back. The store is fine, but I had a bad experience at the groomers and will not go back. I made appointments for all three of my dogs in one week, so I spent a lot of money. When I went to pick up my two larger dogs, the price was different than what I was told on the phone. I told the groomer this and she argued over it, then called the manager. The manager was super nice and changed the price to what I was quoted. After she left, the groomer was very rude and talked to me like I was five. She told me "We won't do this next time" and "you have been told now" like it was my fault they quoted me wrong when I made the appointments. She also wouldn't give my dogs a bandana even though my other dog had gotten one. I guess to punish me. Anyway, I never went back due to the rude groomer. I found a private groomer who does a great job for much less money. read more

For me to write something like this on FB I have to be really upset. Received the worst customer service ever twice. First time went to their store to get prescription dog food. We were turned away because we didn't have our paper prescription with us and our vet was closed because it was a Sunday. So now we have the paper prescription they STILL won't let us have the food because NOW the hospital is not open to give their own prescription number. I love Petsmart. I would love it even more if my dog would cooperate in wearing silly little clothes! Petsmart has everything that a pet could never need. You can take your pet to get groomed, get a checkup, or to the pet hotel. The pet hotel is perfect when you are going away for the weekend, and don't know who to trust your pet with. The prices are reasonable (about $30 a night), and my dog seems just fine when we pick her up. They even include a cute little report card! I would love to work at the pet hotel. Hell, they wouldn't even have to pay me! I'd kill to be able to play with animals all day! The grooming center has always done a great job on my dog's hair, and I'd rather take my dog here than Abraxas any day. read more

they traumatized my dog he was never the same he is just so scared of gromer's after his visit ti pet smart, and to top the traumatic situation they caused him they told us he may never come back unless he goes to a therapist. we later decided to take him to another place further from our place where we thought would be a better place for him and he was so traumatized he bit the groomer she told us that it was her job so she is not mad ( he is a small dog with all his vaccines up to date) we took him home and he was nit as traumatized and he was not shaking or being sad after the visit and the groomer that took care of him told us that he was creat and he was always able to come back he was a happy dog with a great haircut and they really seemed that they cared for him. read more

We have taken our 14 week old Labradoodle their 3 times asking for her to be trimmed and was told each time that she didn't like the trimmers and was biting at them. I know this kit to be true as I have used my trimmers around her and she doesn't even move. She is not bothered by them one bit. I am of the opinion they do not know how to trim labradoodle and use this as an excuse not to or maybe they don't want to. I will be seeking another pet groomer for our dog. PetSmart did an awesome job grooming my two dogs. They took both of them at the same time and finished in a little over two hours. They cut their hair, cleaned their ears, and trimmed their nails. They were kind and patient with my them, and both dogs looked great afterward. I'm sure I'll bring them back here next time they need groomed. read more

This has been the best place to take our dog for grooming. There is a bit of rotation in the groomers although, they will take the time to adjust the haircut to your liking. We've had better grooming service here that at any other groomers in the area. read more

The staff is friendly however I waited 15 minutes just to get a staff member over to the reptile section so I could purchase a lapsed gecko. Their staff doesn't know what in the world they're talking about in regards to reptiles & their care. It's pretty much useless to get help from them. However, this store does have a nice selection items for dogs & cats. I've been here several times. It's a great location, but needs some work with education in reptiles. read more
