The first thing you need to know about this donut shop is that it is not visible from Dessau road as it is nestled into a strip center along with some fast food outlets. Upon entry, they do have three tables to sit at and a coffee bar with fresh ground coffee beans. They also have a refrigerator full of other drink choices. This is definitely a great place to stop on your early-morning commute because they are open at 5 AM and close at 1 PM. It seems their kolaches are the first thing to go and they even offer Boudin sausage kolaches. I really enjoyed their bacon and egg croissant sandwich. This was definitely the perfect breakfast stop and their prices are quite reasonable.

They apparently don't use boxes, but paper bags, causing them to stick and making you tear them out.

This place was bought out a year or so ago and it's not worth coming to anymore. They don't have a great selection, they didn't give us everything we asked for. And they stack the glazed donuts together in bags causing them to stick to each other and the paper bag, becoming quite the mess.

This is our go-to place for Donuts! I placed a custom order and told them that I would need to pick it up by 7:30am before work and they had it ready on time. The staff are the sweetest people! I love their hospitality and their food! 1000% recommend!!

I needed to get something for my sons school Christmas party... everyone has been sick at our house and this slipped through the cracks while were have all been miserable! So I ran over to Pflugerville donuts. The line was almost out he door! But I stepped in... I mean where else was I going to go quickly? However as I stood in line I watched the supply dwindle and dwindle! I started to worry that there would not be anything left by the time I got to the counter... So I called two other places in Town to see if I could reserve some and I'd run there to get them. Both places I called told me they were out and they could not help. So I stayed in line. The amazing thing was... as I got closer the supply kept replenishing... more and more kept coming from the back. As I got closer still I could see the back baking area and there was the owner... still cooking... and preparing more. The line didn't go down either... with each person who got some another came in and got in the line! When I got to the counter I was sure they was no way they could help me... but they did!! 5 dozen worth without batting an eye! I was delighted! The class would be delighted... and from the looks of it everyone in line would get theirs too! What an amazing no quit attitude! Hats off to a truly great family run establishment!

I love this place! The first time I called the girl that answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful not to mention patient. I had a fairly large order and she was able to complete it within 15 min considering I called last minute. The breakfast croissants were absolutely delicious!! My team loved them and we have opted to have these for breakfast for every staff meeting. The lady up front was also kind enough to give us a few donuts.

Glad it did. The menu isn't huge, but honestly that's usually a good sign -- focus on doing a smaller menu really well instead of serving 94 mediocre things and a sad waffle. I ordered the Bad Ass Bacon & Eggs plate. It came with thick-cut bacon, 2 eggs, hash brown casserole, wheat toast, and smoked salsa. Bacon - 9/10 This wasn't your average thin breakfast bacon. Thick-cut, almost pork belly style, with killer flavor and very meaty. Eggs - 9/10 Cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. Simple, but done right. Hash Brown Casserole - 8/10 Different than what I expected, but in a good way. Unique flavor and a great addition to the plate. Salsa - 7/10 Very homemade style salsa with a smoky flavor. Different, but really good. Atmosphere - 9/10 Loved the vibe. Cozy atmosphere, great music, and just an overall comfortable place to sit and enjoy breakfast. If this place was closer to home, I'd eat here often. Service - 10/10 Excellent service. Christy H. was friendly, attentive, and on point the whole time. Overall - 9/10 Definitely a must-try breakfast spot in Austin. They currently have four locations, and after eating here, it's easy to see why.

You order from the counter and they give you number. Drinks are self served for coffee, fountain, or water. In a fridge next to the order station is orange juice, apple juice, bottled water, and milks (regular and chocolate). Since this was my first time, I ordered the flight of 3. I asked the employee for their favorite - chicken and waffles - and also ordered Banana Love and Grilled Cheese and Bisque. It was definitely a mix of flavors - sweet, savory, and hearty. The ambiance is upbeat. Playing top 40 type of music, folks are dressed comfortably, and the tables are a bit too close together but can easily to accommodate larger groups. Chicken and waffles. Had this one first. It served more like a main meal. Chicken was juicy, a bit more breading than expected but was easy to take it off. It was served with syrup and some sort of mayo/thousand island type mix. Grilled cheese & bisque. Had this one next. Should've been first because it had more of an appy feel. Waffles were nice and crispy, cheese was perfectly melted. I used the bisque for dipping but the also provided a spoon in case you want to continue on with it. Banana Love. Saved this one a dessert. The Nutella was pretty thick and a bit overpowering. The whipped cream was really good and banana looked and tasted fresh. Overall, very good and will eventually eat my way through the menu. The menu also offers sandwich type meals where the waffle acts as the bun. Those seem good for a real lunch.

Also ordered the Nutella and strawberry waffles for my son and an à la cart order of 2 eggs over medium. He enjoyed his waffle but it became overwhelmingly sweet extremely fast so beware! Unfortunately the griddle or pan the eggs were cooked on wasn't cleaned nor seasoned properly bc he took one bite and instantly noticed a "metal flavor" only for us to flip both eggs over and can physically see metal color covering the bottom of both eggs. Super disappointing but we notified the staff and they offered to remake them. Of course my son wasn't trusting and chose not to have them remade. We were refunded $3.50 for the eggs.

When a master chef dies, It is usually very hard to his or her restaurant to recover. Brotherton's has taken a serious serious loss. * * * 1) The brisket that was once exceptionally tasty now does not taste like much. 2) Ribs that were highly regarded are now nothing special. 3) I can't say whether the pitmaster was responsible for the sides. I order the yard bird. it was an oven baked chicken with veggies. good, but not worth $22. I could've made it at home. everyone else at the table basically ordered pancakes with eggs or French toast because the menu was literally that limited, there was no "oo I want to try that!" moment. The service was great as we were a big party. The staff kept coming to our table to apologize on the long wait times; which was confusing because there was barely anyone in the restaurant... but the parking lot was full? where were all of those people? I don't know. the experience wasn't bad but, it didn't hold up to the standard of whiskey cake that I'm used to. especially for $66. the Katy location was so good, it even smelled like whiskey cake. and I remembered this restaurant brand having more culinary forward items like their blue cheese chips during happy hour. (which i lovedddd) If I'm ever out in Round Rock again, I may give it another try, but it won't be for brunch.
